Hi,
Since last week my phone keeps freezing when doing normal tasks like replying to WhatsApp messages, launching Facebook, recording a video on camera, watching videos it just randomly freezes, and sometimes it comes back to life with an Android SystemUI not responding quit or wait or sometimes phone literally just boots.
It could reboot, I can unlock it and it would do it straight away - freeze again.
Sometimes it might not do it for an hour or so. This happens when on any battery % so it's not like it's battery getting low etc it can do it on 95% first thing in the morning.
Today I decided to factory reset my phone when phone rebooted and I was going through Samsung setup even the setup wizard bought up an error and froze "Samsung Setup Wizard" not responding Quit or Wait.
Any ideas?
I'd try flashing your rom again with Odin

Hi guys!
So my current configuration is in my sig, except that I was using v8 of Doc's JPO ROM and the latest Super Optimized Kernel at the time... But this has happened twice on two different kernels so I'm not sure that matters all that much.
I don't know what more to say then what simply happened during both those times:
The first time it happened, I was in the default Samsung Song Player app..I tried playing a file then my phone suddenly locked up, so I pulled the battery. Upon reboot, the phone was still working fine so I tried playing the file again...the phone again locks up and I pull the battery again. But this time when the phone reboots, it takes a looooong time in the shiney S boot part. Then much to my horror, I am taken to Phone Setup! :| And even worse, after I went through all that..I still saw my same wallpaper and such, but then my apps (not system apps) started force closing all over the place! (Without being run, they just suddenly start force closing while I was still at the homescreen and during phone setup..)
I had to factory reset to get my phone to work again..losing everything.
This happened again, this time I was in the Market just doing some updates..then again lock up -> battery pull -> reboot -> force closing apps everywhere -> factory reset to fix... :|
Any ideas why this happens and how to prevent this?
Addtl info: the first time this happened, I still didn't apply the system fix thing (cus it didn't exist at the time). The second time though, I followed the instructions to prevent the system corruption thing.
Hello!
I'm having a problem with my S3 mini.. it restarts by itself with no apparent reason.. sometimes i'm not even using it, it's on my pocket and then I listen to the sound of the startup, when I pick it up, I note that it's a little warm, more than normal.
Sometimes the cellphone do this restart in a loop, as soon as it's finally ready, it turns off and then reboot again, all alone! When it starts doing this loop, sometimes it stops when I remove the battery and put it again after something like 10 seconds, but today it started doing it and didn't stop. Sometime, I try to use it immediately after it finish the boot and it freezes before I can get it unlocked, the screen becomes white like a watermark, and then, another reboot. It's always hot when doing it.
Today the cellphone did it something like 10 times in 20 minutes, one of this times it was working after 4 or 5 startups, I tried to take a picture and it did another reboot, and another.. and another! It stoped only after I punched the cell phone several times against a steel wall (yes, I was ANGRY!!!). I tried to let it 5 minutes turned off, when I turned it on again, it started the reboot loop again.
I already tried more than once to do a hard reset, I don't have many apps installed, I tried to uninstall all the apps that I installed when it started doing this. There is no regularity, it stays 2 days normal, on the 3rd day it shows the problem, and then another 4 days normal..
I have no ideia of what can be the problem!! The Android is 4.1.3 and it was not updated recently
Can someone help me?
Sorry about my English, I don't speak very well..

Facing a different kind of rebooting issue
Hi guys.... I've got the Z3C on 23rd Oct & since past few days I'm facing a weird rebooting problem. Whenever I receive a whatsapp message & the notification tone rings, or like something on facebook & the phone sounds the facebook pop, the phone suddenly reboots halfway through the notification tone or the pop & after it's rebooted, the 'mobile data is disabled' message appears in my notification. It's happened quite a few times now & I'm worried. The message appears if I manually reboot the phone too. I initially believed some bad process from whatsapp's causing this so I tried uninstalling it, but even after doing that & rebooting in safe mode the phone, the problem persists. PLEASE HELP :crying::crying:
reboots about every 10 mins

Use a different decoder. Switch between S/W and H/W or H/W+.
I did that. For now it's ok
Sent from my D5833 using Tapatalk
I had the same problem of random reboots. used PC companion. the frequency of reboots decreased but still present. was asked by sony repair center to send them the phone.
They will try to repair it or replace with a new cellphone. Its only been 7 days since I got the phone.
Hey all
Having some troubles with my I9305 running 4.1.2 stock and rooted
The phone was factory reset only a few weeks ago and has run well since.
The below problem occurred once before, since the factory reset, however simply resolved itself after 6-8 hours. It has returned and remains
On startup I'm getting the 3 following processes crashing and it's rendering the phone unusable.
Unfortunately, ContextProvider has stopped
Unfortunately, TwDVFSApp has stopped
Unfortunately, SystemUI has stopped
After enough time I'm able to clear these by pressing OK, and enter my lock screen code, at which point the phone simply freezes.
Hitting emergency call at this point results in android.process.acore has stopped.
I'd add that everything is as it should be on the screen, other than no status/notifications bar at the top
I do also have Airdroid working and allowing me to browse
Any thoughts?
Hello everyone,
I have a Note 4 and yesterday it started acting funny. It would randomly stop responding then shut down. For instance, I was in the play store and clicked in the search area and noticed the keyboard would not open. Tried hitting the home, recents and back to no success. Had to battery pull to turn it back on and now even that will not work any more. On the off chance it does work, it works for about a minute or so and then shuts down.
I have tried running with with and without SD Card
I have factory restored it
Installed a Custom TW Rom and Custom AOSP Rom
The only thing I can think is that it could be battery but the stop responding part worries me a bit... like maybe there is a hardware issue that cannot be fixed.
Had the phone for about 2 to 3 years, same battery as when I got it.
