You gotta be more careful when you enter this world of rooting and stuff. First of all, RN11 4G is not spes. Its codename is "selene". MIUI code confirms that the Redmi 10 2022 is Xiaomi's global version of the Redmi Note 11 4G.
Get the recovery ffile from here. There's also a root tutorial there.

OK thanks for your response. See screenshot. Perhaps I'm mixing up the names
According to Wikipedia, Redmi 10 codenamed selenes, even if they also sell it in China as Redmi Note 11 4G, is completely different hardware and features a Mediatek chipset, unlike our spes/spesn Redmi Note 11 with the Snapdragon 680.
Xiaomi has completely lost it with the naming and it's really hard to keep track. I'm sure 4jean is on the right path and does indeed own a spes.
I notice the device as in the screenshot is called RN11, and there's no 4G. Maybe that's what set off the confusion. Yes, RN11 is snapdragon, but RN11 4G is mtk. Bottomline, you're right 4jean. Thanks Schmuppes for correcting me there.

You can use orangefox recovery for ota updates, but you have to setup it first.
First backup everything you need ,via magisk and migrate. Also the Internal storage.
Read all replies from this thread. You'll understand everything.

Hi everyone, I just get a Xiaomi Redmi 9 (lancelot, that is what I think) with MUIU 12 and now I have to wait 7 days to unlock the bootloader. It is a GREAT phone.
Now I have some questions:
Is there a TWRP recovery for MIUI 12? Where I can get it? Does it work well?.
I read about a vendor 12, "OSS system". What are these terms?.
Can I install GSI? Is easy to install?.
Any tips? Any good advice? Any telegram for this phone? dm me.
Thank you.

2. The OSS-vendor refers to a firmware developed by the open source community.
It is expected that the OSS-vendor will be supported for much longer than the stock-vendor.
3. GSi tutorial

4. I have no clue about telegram for this phone.
Thank you, now I know what is a OSS-vendor and if I understand well... I just need to flash a GSI.
But I do not see a TWRP thread in that section. Can you help me?
Okay.

Orangefox is better than twrp and is based of it. Basically the same with more features.
Also make sure your phone is Redmi 9 Lancelot because that recovery is for that.
I'm assuming that is your phone

Hi guys, I have this phone and despite how much I try and how many guides I follow, I can't boot with any OSS ROM. Plus, any recovery that isn't OFOX 11.1 doesn't boot. Currently i'm on crDROID 8.7. Any help Is appreciated and thanks in advance!
Same issue here. I tried Pixel Experience, CrDroid, ProjectElixir and nothing worked. The phone would turn off after showing the "Mi" logo for a few seconds. I did find a working TWRP though, but I can't find a link to it anywhere now :/

Hi. For me worked this recovery: twrp-3.6.0_10-1-lime-brigudav.img
I think pitch black recovery works roo. About roms, i think the xiaomi.eu roms are the only one stable, who boot, in this version of redmi 9t with nwt panel/touch.
Cicciopanza, where did you find that rom (crDROID 8.7) who works on lemmon device. Can you provide a link to rom and did you installed a custom kernel before installing crDROID 8.7 ?
I'm on PixelExperience Plus (android 12) and i think it's a very good rom!

Hi. I have the same model of redmi 9t ,codename lemon, and i managed to install only a custom recovery of this phone and that's it. Custom roms can't boot after i install from twrp brigudav. Can you put here files you used for instalation of pixelexperienceplus 12 and describe steps you did for a succesful instalation ? Did you flashed a custom kernel before/after installing the rom ? Describe the steps and put links with rom/twrp/other files you used if you can. Pls help and thanks.

Hi, I have realme 6 pro rmx2063 (MX) with android 11.

Yes you can install rmx2061 roms the only difference is rmx2063 has NFC and rmx2061 does not.

Go to the 'realme 6 pro' telegram global chat group they have all info there.
The information is here on XDA too
basically you need to :
1. unlock the bootloader
2. install a custom recovery
3. then install ROM
sorry for reviving such an old thread
I would need an original update for rmx2063
I inadvertently activated the oem lock and the wifi stopped working and I was bricked... the official update available is older and does not allow me to install it and of course... the unofficial ones even less
I remember installing a DSU update, I guess that's where the problem is
I am trying to flash EU Firmware https://download.c.realme.com/osupdate/RMX2061EU_11_OTA_0380_all_EIeguy5zqMib.ozip on RMX2061
Currently, my device is RMX2061_11_A.41
Have anyone tried this?

You only messed up my mind
I've done this before sweet->unlock bootloader->install TWRP->custom ROM but now somehow I am confused about the steps.
I will unlock another device tomorrow and plan to install vanilla: Lineage OS, Cherish OS, /e/ OS or Arrow OS. Now trying to get everything downloaded and ready. I never upgraded an MIUI or firmware on this phone. It is still MIUI 12.xx as it came from mi.com
Do I need some firmware ready?
How do I know what version I need or what version my phone has?
Also, this handset has an ln8000 charging board. How do I install a custom kernel? How do I know that I need one?
I never used custom kernels before as everything was ok on my Oneplus devices and Lineage default kernel.
Thanks.
