Flashed IodéOS 3.1, everything works fine (S10e - exynos). After while of using I restarted device to recovery (from power menu). Device restarted, showed screen with samsung logo, then whit android logo and then boot screen from ROM shows. But it stuck and do nothing (over 15 minutes). Device was very hot.
So I tried restart with buttons (pw + down) and after turn off immediately tried to boot recovery (TWRP, pw + bixby + down) - it just restarted and stuck on boot logo again. So I tried download mode (pw + bixby + up) and again... it just trying to start regularly, but stuck on boot screen.
So I cannot get to TWRP or download mode by buttons! Turning device off is possible only by plugin to charger, restart, then charging animation shows up and if I unplug, device is off.
Any advices? Thanks.
Hello Shumafuk, why not posted in the subject concerns iodes3.1, your answer may be in the discussion thread.
you must have forgotten to do something, wipe or install the pf4 recovery patch put in post #2.
I'm not sure if that is IodéOS related issue. What do you mean by pf4 recovery patch from post #2? It contains phonesky-magisk and changelog only.
I saw that you posted in the discussion thread, an answer will come later to your concern.
Hopefully. Thanks anyway.

I Have a similar problem as posted by someone else - but I can't reply in that thread yet so here it is:
Also SGS GT-I9000 - now stuck on white logo screen.
What I have done:
- phone was slow and very laggy so I wanted to install new ROM
- found out that 3bc didn't work so tried to fix that using a guide from SamsungGalaxySforums based on one from XDA (tried to post the link, but forum rules won't let me).
- now download mode works but recovery mode still doesn't.
- when rebooting without being attached to laptop it showed funny coloured lines first
- I tried this whole thing again and now my phone is stuck on white logo screen. Still able to get into download mode and flash, but no booting phone.
Any ideas? Should I flash a different bootloader?
EDIT: I had tried the Aries_P-SBL.tar.md5 bootloader and only got coloured lines.
Now using the EZboot-GingerBread-1.0.tar.md5 bootloader and getting a bootloader screen. Now making a backup of all my data first.
EDIT: After backup still hangs at white Galaxy S screen - so still no working phone! Ideas?
Turn off your phone and reboot into the recovery mode by pressing Volume UP+ Home + Power.
Then when in the recovery, select Wipe Data and Cache. Reboot when done. You should be up and running. Also, first boot may take a while so be patient.

It says in his post, recovery wont work, only download.
Sounds to me he has screwed up the bootloader.
Now you've done this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1089989
I now suggest you boot to download and flash a stock rom using ODIN.
just flash stock Rom using Odin and than you can flash what you want
Hello,
this is my first post on here and I am sorry for it being a "Help me" one.
So yesterday I found my S4 Active again and I remembered it having problems booting up and being stuck in a boot loop. So I powered it on and it worked fine (exept for the lower halve of the touch screen not working, but I think that's another Problem). So I took out the battery. A couple of hours later I tried turning it on again, but this time I had the same Boot loop. When I insert the battery nothing happens (so no stuck Power Button). If I then press the power button it turns on. After the Samsung Logo it goes black for a while but the Backlight is on. After this it shuts down then turns on again but only for a short Moment (no Samsung Logo visible but it vibrates). Then it turns off again and turns on again and flashes the Samsung logo and so on. If I try to Boot into Recovery mode, sometimes it enters Recovery for a second and then turns off and on again but most of the time it just turns of after the Samsung logo and shows the same behaviour as described above.
I am able to enter Download Mode though. If I go into it and press down (to Abort Download Mode) it goes into Boot loop. If I press volume up I am able to flash through Odin ( I did this to flash the stock Rom 5.0.1 again, but it did not help at all). I also noticed that if I attach the phone via usb to the computer but no battery is inserted, the Backlight flashes every 2 seconds or so.
So does this look like a Hardware defect or is there any hope for me.
Thanks
Hey guys,
So I'm having issues trying to fix my Samsung Tab A 10.1 ( SM-T510 ).
At first I was trying to install a custom TWRP recovery image, and I had a boot loop where it kept getting stuck at the SAMSUNG splash screen(not the initial samsung boot screen that shows TAB A 10.1). I however overcame that issue by factory reseting and through some additional tinkering.
Now the part I'm starting to regret.
I tried once again to flash the custom TWRP to the tablet, but this time I forgot to tick the "autoreboot" setting off.
So ODIN shows a PASS for the flash, but now when the tablet boots its stuck in the following boot sequence:
START:
Initial Samsung boot screen asking to press power button to continue due to unknown boot image source etc
PRESS POWER
SAME INITIAL SAMSUNG BOOT SCREEN minus the power button prompt, lasts for about 3-5 seconds
REBOOT
Now I have managed to get into download mode with the tablet connected to a computer.
I CANNOT get into recovery mode to factory reset the tablet, which was the solution the last go around.
I am starting to think that the only way I am going to get the tablet back in original working order, or any working order for that matter is to:
A: LOCATE original firmware for my device, I believe it is GTAXLWIFI firmware for my device. However the files I have found don't seem to be accepted in ODIN...
B: Try to continue on with the TWRP process, which I have tried to reflash the TWRP recovery that I have, and it shows pass. But, the issue persists.
Any suggestions or help would be amazing!
Thanks!
Timing is the key
Set your finger on position where you gonna restart the device.
Hold power + vol down
After the screen restart switch soon as possible you finger to set to recovery by
Hold vol up + down + insert the USB C cable
Remember timing is the key. I have done this for several tabs that screw on my home so you are welcome bro

I think "restarts" may be confusing. Switch from down to up as soon as the screen turns off.

You can use frija.exe to get the latest stock firmware. To get TWRP you MUST boot to recovery before system. If you allow the tablet to boot to system first, it will overwrite TWRP with the stock recovery. Do this by pressing vol down and power till the screen turns off. As soon as it does, switch from vol down to up while still pressing power and keep holding both till the red warning message appears. You also need to leave the cable attached to the PC while doing this.
Android 10 newest version.
So I installed magisk and everything went fine.
But when i switch off my device and turn it on I cant boot it up. It's stuck on the splash screen (turns on, splash screen, warning screen, splash screen) and keeps repeating. i cant boot into recovery either.
From what i read to boot into magisk on a s10+ you have to hold bixby+volume up+power, and to boot into recovery press those three, but when you see the second splash screen let go of the bixby button and keep holding the power+volume up.
I have flashed TWRP through the official twrp app, and maybe that's the problem? Maybe i don't know when to press those button combinations, but i have tried quite a few time and i just cant move past the second splash screen.
Please help.

I can however boot into download (odin) mode by pressing the volume down+bixby and connecting to my pc.
try to reflash twrp . but using twrp from @ianmacd and flash using odin.
put ianmacd's twrp .IMG into .TAR using 7zip and flash Odin as AP @Bluetinity custom twrp is better than official ?

Hi, yesterday my phone goes into boot loop suddenly. By then I still could access recovery mode. I tried to wipe cache and reboot, but it's still stuck in boot loop.
So I flashed original firmware in order to fixed the boot loop ( I've never installed custom rom) and it says succeeded in Odin then the phone restarted, but stuck in Galaxy Note logo. I manually restart the phone and it goes to "Installing System Update" but there are no progress and the animation didn't move. I left it for about half hour and then manually restart again and still stuck in Galaxy Note logo.
By this time, I couldn't access recovery anymore. Pressing vol up + bixby + power do nothing. I could access download mode just fine.
Any suggestion on how to fix my phone ? I'm still in original firmware and have not enabled debugging mode in developer settings
Post a screenshot in recovery mode after reset factory
