I didn't understand how to use Magisk. How to grant root access to apps? for example there is an app where I would like to select the sd card as the download folder.

no. the app I was talking about does not ask me for any root access! basically, all the apps I use should ask me? as soon as I open the app?

Why you don't use root explorer?
Just use Root Explorer to find the email.apk and delete it.
Check root permissions in SuperUser app. I had the same problem and I found out the app had no root permissions in the SuperUser app. Apps like that have a red circle on the right.
Thanks wery much.

The folder /etc/system/permissions/ is read-only. I want to add the SIP application to dialer but I get Read-Only file. How can I change that?
Thanks

Thanks guys.
No free apps for this?
The device is rooted and I can do su. Wondering why I can't use something simple as "su" to change permissions to the folder?
Thanks
For Ref: Free app, "Root Broswer Lite" does the job.

for another reference:
su
chmod +w /etc/system/permissions
+x adds write permission to the folder.

Did you just try to install it as a user app? That won't work.
You need to manually put the apk in /system/priv-app and set permissions to rw-r--r--. You can use a root enabled file explorer to do this.

AppOps?
If you are rooted and can install XPosed framework, XPrivacy module will let you control permissions for each app
(currently in alpha for Lollipop, so use with caution)

Before I post it, does anyone know what T-Mobile app is requesting root privelages every time it boots? I don't like it, and I want it gone before I post the zip...
I don't know what it is, but I've denied it root access a week ago and haven't seen any I'll effects since.

There's likely a Vendor folder in there somewhere. That's where most of the AT&T bloatware was located.
