Hey Guys,
so first of all i have a OnePlus 3T and tried to OTA the new Oreo Update. I just followed the steps from a post here, installed a customized TWRP and so on. Then i got the error, that the "package" is for OnePlus 3T and my Phone is a OnePlus 3. There was someone on the net who just removed the phone validation to install the zip File. I was really sure, that i have downloaded the right OTA File. But after rebooting i couldnt do anything.
Now i just tried to unbrick my phone with MSMDownload Tool but stuck on ChechHwID Failed! Phone: MSM8996, Image: MSM8996Pro. I think the issue is the same above. My phone thinks itself that he is a OnePlus3 instead of a 3T. What should i do? Using the repairTool for the 3 or staying at the 3T repairTool and fix it differently?
Thanks for help,

This tool can be used to revive a bricked OP6T China variants and remove the 'Device is corrupt' error message on boot.
Same with international version but this will bring back the China variants to Hydrogen OS v9.0.4. This was taken from Oneplus China forum.
Contains the latest MsmDownloadTool v4.0.58 and Hydrogen OS v9.0.4 and is not compatible with T-mobile models and also I didn't tested with International models(This may work so Proceed at Your Own Risk)
Make sure that your phone is switched off.
Open device manager on your Windows PC.
Press and hold the Volume Up & Volume Down buttons then connect to your PC using your data cable.
Once the device is connected to your Windows PC, check if the phone is being recognized (Other > QUSB_BULK or Ports > Qualcomm).
If showing as Other > QUSB_BULK either wait for Windows to install the Qualcomm driver or download the driver below and install.
Run MsmDownloadTool V4.0_factory.exe and click Start.
NOTE: This will completely wipe your device and re-lock your bootloader.

If anyone uses this, can you make a full device dump please? Wanna mess with the OS, see what its like.
Is it confirmed not working on T-Mobile variant? I like h20s on my 6, wouldn’t mind it in my 6t.

It’s basically a different OS variant for the global 6T as they can switch between either OS without issue, since the global OOS MSMDOWNLOADTOOL won’t work with the T-Mobile variant, this definitely won’t.

What about the modded msmdownloadtool that they use to flash the T-Mobile 6t to global without unlocked bootloader
This is the tool in talking about
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6t/how-to/t-mobile-6t-to-international-t3888307
Here you go I installed this on my 6t with no issues at all its the international version I don't have the T-Mobile version and I still get updates and all and yes play store works fine..
edit: i unlocked the bootloader as well no issues will report back once ive rooted
edit 2: i was able to update to 9.0.11 perfectly fine with no issues and ive rooted without problems as well
Question 1: If I've got the Chinese OnePLus 6T that originally came with HOS, and I bricked it, can is use the MSM tool with OOS when I restore?
Question 2: The files in the original post on this thread are no longer available --is there a Hydrogen OS MSM tool for the OnePlus 6T floating around now, in 2021?
Any help you can offer would be sincerely appreciated --had the phone for a single day before I muddled it up.

Hi all, I have a OnePlus Nord CE global version and it's bricked - I get the "Qualcomm Crashdump" screen whenever I try to load it up. My main issue is that I only have a Mac, so I can't run the MSM software all guides and walkthroughs are talking about. Is there a guide or a solution on how to unbrick the device for Mac users? Thanks!

The issue is a little different, but I hope it helps.
I had this too, but it seems that windows is a must.
My solution was to create a windows10 environment with mac bootcamp.
You can download windows10 here.
(You can probably download the same OS from your country.)
If you need a product key, you can buy it at a very low price (about $5) at an online auction.
You might be able to solve it with 64GB of Mac storage and $5.
By the way, Parallels is more expensive than that, it is difficult to create an environment for customizing smartphones, and there are some things that are impossible, so I do not recommend it.
I also don't recommend VirtualBox.
Hi there,
I am looking for a solution to install on my xiaomi redmi note 10 pro miui 13.0.3 Android 12, a windows software in .exe.
Searching the net, I found solutions but none seem to work!
Would you have a solution?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Have a good day
As far as I know .exe can only installed on windows not on Android
Instead of using .exe you can flash this rom on your phone using miflash tool.
To install a fastboot rom you can either follow a guide or watch videos on youtube.
You will find plenty of them.
Thank you for the feedback. If i use miflash will i lose use of nfc for payment with my phone as i will need to unlock my phone? No need to root my phone I think!
Unlocking doesn't mean you have rooted ur phone. These two are different things
Hi,
I have a Redmi Note 11 (21121119SC).
It came in the original packaging with "Redmi Note 11" clearly printed on the box, and model 21121119SC.
It came as a global version with MIUI 13, and a (Chinese-language) redmi 5.0 recovery.
It had an unlocked bootloader.
Fastboot getvar product identified it as 'selene' (NOT selenec, NOT selenes, NOT a spes/spesn).
Internet wisdom suggested that it was compatible with a Redmi 10 Prime or Redmi 10 2022.
(MTK Helios G88)
However, in flashing Redmi 10 it has become a brick - no recovery, no fastboot, no bootloop - just black-screen.
It does seem to respond to UART connection (vol- on connect) and responds to MTKbypass (protection off).
But SPFlashtool fails to download anything to it - giving an SPFT error STATUS_ERR (0xC0010001).
Can someone please help me unbrick this device please?
Note that I seem to need a very specific firmware package for a selene global 21121119SC model.
There are forum threads for Redmi 10 selene and Redmi 11 spes/spesn, but none for Redmi Note 11 selene.
Has nobody enountered this kind of weird hybrid device yet?
Help appreciated.
Thanks.

The selene is the original Redmi 10 from 2021. I had this phone. It has a Mediatek processor so there is no XDA on it. (no ROMming)

Ok thanks for clarifying what to look for.
So how can I recover this phone to working order?
Do I need the Remi 10 firmware from here:
Download Redmi 10 / 10 Prime Firmware ROM TWRP (selene)
Xiaomi Redmi 10 / 10 Prime Firmware (selene) ⭐ Redmi 10 / 10 Prime ROM ⭐ Redmi 10 / 10 Prime Global ROM - EU ROM - TWRP - Fastboot ROM
mifirm.net
I tried this global version via SPflashtool/UART but it fails with an error.
Do I use the chinese version? Will that relock the bootloader? Do I use a different tool or different ROM pack?

The 21121119SC appears to be the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 4G released in 2021 according to the gsmarena website, not to be confused with the RN11 spes Global (mine) or China versions. Yours appears to be a rebranded Redmi 10 since it shows LCD and Mediatek (i.e. no ROMming) instead of AMOLED and Snapdragon of my RN11. The com website for xiaomifirmwareupdater shows the ROM versions for "Redmi Note 11 4G/Redmi 10 2022 (selenes)", but your fastboot response of selene is confusing. It might be a hard brick now without your access to recovery or fastboot.
Thanks very much! I got my phone unbricked, using Windows 10 and this info above.
I never thought that would happen!
For those that follow, the recipe was something like this:
--
Best case if:
Bootloader unlocked
Developer mode
USB debugging enabled
Verify apps over USB disabled (just in case)
Prep the tools:
Install MTK USB drivers
Install Xiaomi USB drivers
Install MTKbypass
(needs python 3.9+ from Microsoft Store plus pyusb etc)
Ensure python is in the path and perms allow pip installs
Get latest SPFlashTool
I used SP_Flash_tool_v5.2216_Win, but anything with an MTK DA that recognises a MT6768 should work
Get the latest MIUI Official ROM packages from here:
Xiaomi Firmware Updater
The ultimate script that provides firmware packages for Xiaomi devices.
xiaomifirmwareupdater.com
Eg. V13.0.4.0.SKUMIXM for Redmi 10/Redmi 10 2022/Redmi Prime (selene)
'S' = Android 13
'KU' = Redmi Note 11 / Redmi 10 selene device
'MI' = Global version
Unpack the ROM package to a folder so it is ready to go.
Notes:
My phone was properly bricked (black-screen), no fastboot, no recovery.
So I had to use a 'UART mode' approach.
But nothing worked and SPFlashTool was failing with all kinds of errors until I found a comment by someone on XDA that said "in Windows, connect SPFlashTool as USB mode" (not COM serial mode).
Steps:
Run MTKbypass (ie. 'python main.py') to make it look for a new device
Hold Vol-down while connecting phone to USB port
MTKbypass should say protection disabled. If not, try and try again.
Without disconnecting the phone, now run SP Flash Tool.
Under Options menu, choose 'Option' and 'Connection', and set USB mode.
Auto-detect didn't work for me, so I also chose 'w/o battery'.
Go to the Download tab.
Check that the Download Agent loads the MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin from your latest SPFlashTool.
Choose the scatter file from the ROM package.
Choose the auth file from the ROM package.
Select 'Download Only' in the dropdown.
Press the 'Download' button, and hope it works.
Progress should be down in the progress meter and end in a green circle of success.

This worked for me, based on comments and direction from Sheist and chaosmaster. I hope it works for you.

Had the same problem after many flashing attempts with multiple Roms.
Fix
remove the back plastic cover
Disconnect the battery ribbon cable.
Then reconnect it
Device started operation as expected and I could flash any ROM with ease
