Hi everyone,
I screwed up with my S21 Ultra.
I have the custom rom from Dr. K installed. It was also going great until I got the idea to remove magisk root via a magiskunroot .zip via twrp.
The phone now does the following:
1. the loading screen is displayed, but without percent and it also does not rotate
2. when I remove the cable and press Vol + & - & Power the phone boots up to the Samsung secured by Knoxx screen.
What can I do?
Garbage?
Would be really grateful for help, if it's still possible
Regards
Michi

Hi there i am relatively new to android modding and rooting etc. I recently tried to install Cyanogenmod to my phone and I succeeded, but the next day my phone began to restart itself, turns out that the power button is broken. We tried to repair it but ended up burning down the processors internal i/o (latch or whatever structure it has) with a faulty multimeter :crying: . Now i have to turn on my phone with a dock cable :silly: (with 1kohm res) which wakes up the phone, i can access the Download mode by plugging in the dock, and pressing home+down, but the recovery needs the power button signal too.
I can access the recovery by using adb commands, but i need to boot in. If i install a new recovery like CWM, i am stuck in a bootloop and i don't know if i can use the adb commands. Is there any other way to get into recovery mode, besides home+power+up, or adb commands?
Can i install CM onto the phone under these circumstances?
Thanks for any help given!
Hello
I recently purchased a lenovo k3 note, but it came without any internet browser or gapps. I decided to root the phone and to change the rom. I did both, using the official thread for rooting and i choose the official Lenovo K50-T5 update 1536 (found it on needrom)
Unfortunately, when the phone boot up, i have an error message wich says : unfortunalety, WLAN has stopped. And i can't go any further. I wanted to change the rom again but my recovery changed too, as CWM has been replaced by Lenovo-Recovery. I tried to root the phone again but it doesn't work (i supposed the USB debugging is off and i can't change it)
Any solutions ? Thx

K3 Note in Meta Mode not able to root
Hello Experts,
My Lenovo K3 Note went suddenly into Meta mode after my battery completely drained out. When I tried to restart, the only message I get is "Have been in meta mode, long press the power button and the normal boot".
I tried all the possible options with power button and volume keys. Also removed the battery cards, sim. But only message I get is Meta mode. Phone is charging when I plug in the charger. However It is not getting detected in my laptop.
I installed the drivers from the below link http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/root-lenovo-k3-note-india-k50a40-t3200875. Still phone is not being detected in my laptop.
Can you please suggest what can I do ?

Remove battery, put it back, hold volume up + power button. You will boot into recovery (mine was Chinese).
First option should be reboot to system I think, use that.
Recovery boot loop

My lenovo k3 note switching on flash light automatically for incoming messages how to stop it
Hello,
i have a Samsung Note N7000, on which I installed "[ROM][CM12.1][Lollipop][Android 5.1.1] NightOwl" one year ago.
The problem now is, that in this year, the power button of my note broke down. I wanted to replace it, but its solded on the Board.
So I used the Smartphone without the power button by double tapping on the notification bar und using the home button.
But now i saw, that there is a Nightowl-Version of Marshmallow, running stable on the Note. So i want to flash it. But i dont know how,
because i cant boot into recovery. I know there are Apps to boot into Recovery, but to flash it, i have to wipe all data and after this i cant boot into the recovery, because the app and a system isnt installed.
Can somebody help me please?
P.S. I still kann get into the Download mode, btu I dont know if there is a possibility with Odin to format the phone an install the new Rom.
This is not the right section for this question, please delete the post and post it in the Galaxy Note Troubleshooting section. Aside from that you could try to download the Rom, boot into recovery, flash, and then choose reboot system in Twrp. If you run into a bootloop, you're basically f*cked tho. Also one thing I want to know, have you never rebooted your phone in like a year because of this?
So i posted it in the other section.
This is the problem. I dont want to try to flash the new Rom without formatting the phone.
I can start the phone, when its turned off by plugging in the charger, then, when the Display shows, that the phone is loading, quickly plug out and put the battery out and then in. Then the phone starts. When i hold Volume -, it boots into the Download-mode, but it doesnt work with the recovery.

Hi everyone,
today I received my s10 Exynos version 128gb 8gb.
After transferring my data and started to configure my phone.
Right after installing the gcam 3.5 of Idan for rootless phone, I tried to make a screenshot with the Bixby and power button,
and the phone turns off, when I decided to turn on boom, some upload page with a message kernel crashed, after that I held power and v+dwn and the phone booted on safe mode, and this loop of the message and the safe mode like 5 times, then in safe mode I uninstalled the gcam of idan, and apparently for now all goes fine.
i don't know what to do, I saw this was a little normal in old phones, but can't find any information about that on s10 yet.
Anyone with the same problem? What did you make for resolving that?
Sorry for the bad English.
Thanks for everyone, by now my advise is not to install the gcam 3.5 of Idan that I download on their website.
Below I will post the link that I downloaded the apk
https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/gcamera/GCam_5.1.018.177470874.41362666_IDan_N6_3.5_fix.apk
thanks for everyone!
EDIT: i just figure it out, that the button of volume down is stucked down, so when i hit the power it just inter in safe mode, i donto know what to do but i think thats the problem
EDIT2: volume down button stucked forcing the phone to always boot at safe mode. returning this phone
Hey guys,
So I'm having issues trying to fix my Samsung Tab A 10.1 ( SM-T510 ).
At first I was trying to install a custom TWRP recovery image, and I had a boot loop where it kept getting stuck at the SAMSUNG splash screen(not the initial samsung boot screen that shows TAB A 10.1). I however overcame that issue by factory reseting and through some additional tinkering.
Now the part I'm starting to regret.
I tried once again to flash the custom TWRP to the tablet, but this time I forgot to tick the "autoreboot" setting off.
So ODIN shows a PASS for the flash, but now when the tablet boots its stuck in the following boot sequence:
START:
Initial Samsung boot screen asking to press power button to continue due to unknown boot image source etc
PRESS POWER
SAME INITIAL SAMSUNG BOOT SCREEN minus the power button prompt, lasts for about 3-5 seconds
REBOOT
Now I have managed to get into download mode with the tablet connected to a computer.
I CANNOT get into recovery mode to factory reset the tablet, which was the solution the last go around.
I am starting to think that the only way I am going to get the tablet back in original working order, or any working order for that matter is to:
A: LOCATE original firmware for my device, I believe it is GTAXLWIFI firmware for my device. However the files I have found don't seem to be accepted in ODIN...
B: Try to continue on with the TWRP process, which I have tried to reflash the TWRP recovery that I have, and it shows pass. But, the issue persists.
Any suggestions or help would be amazing!
Thanks!
Timing is the key
Set your finger on position where you gonna restart the device.
Hold power + vol down
After the screen restart switch soon as possible you finger to set to recovery by
Hold vol up + down + insert the USB C cable
Remember timing is the key. I have done this for several tabs that screw on my home so you are welcome bro

I think "restarts" may be confusing. Switch from down to up as soon as the screen turns off.

You can use frija.exe to get the latest stock firmware. To get TWRP you MUST boot to recovery before system. If you allow the tablet to boot to system first, it will overwrite TWRP with the stock recovery. Do this by pressing vol down and power till the screen turns off. As soon as it does, switch from vol down to up while still pressing power and keep holding both till the red warning message appears. You also need to leave the cable attached to the PC while doing this.
