Mi 9T Pro bricked. Does anyone have some advice? - Redmi K20 Pro / Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Questions & Answe

Hi,
Last month, I installed PixelExperience Extended on my Mi 9T Pro, as the official ROM doesn't release updates anymore.
I was very happy with the new ROM.
Then 2 days ago I got a popup saying that there was an update of the ROM.
I proceeded with the OTA update, my phone rebooted and immediatly got stuck in 'Fastboot' logo.
No matter what key combination I try, it just reboots back at fastboot.
When I connect via USB, it says the device malfunctioned and I cannot execute adb commands. (Tried several PC's/USB ports)
In Windows Device Manager, it says 'Unknown USB Device', Device descripter request failed.
Does anybody have some advice?
I also tried to install specific Mi 9T Pro drivers to solve the 'unknown USb device", but that didn't work.

turned out to be the cable

I know it's been a long while since you had this problem, but as I have to face it myself without any clue how to solve it I thought it was a good idea to recover this thread.
First of all, let me say it happened to me with a Xiaomi mi5s. I had already installed adb & fastboot, as well as Xiaomi drivers from the Xiaomi Unlock Tool.
The problem arose when I made a partial firmware upgrade through fastboot in order to install LOS 14.1 via TWRP. I could not geet into fastboot mode, the screen went completely black and no charging LED. Curiously my laptop (Win10) made a tiny nose everytime I pluged or unplugged it (the same one it does everytime you plug a new device) and saw that it recognised it as a 'Qualcomm HS-USB qloader 9008'. More curiously, Xiaomi Flash Tool (BTW, it was the beta version although I guess the latest version would have worked as well) recognised the device although everytime I tried to flash an official firmware I got a message error: 'cannot receive hello packet'.
Well, after some research I was scared because I didn't want to open the phone to unplug the battery or anything. But I read somewhere that someone had the same problem as me and that he tried Xiaomi Flash Tool until it worked.
That was it, that was the clue. Xiaomi Flash Tool ready, having initially recognised my mi5s, the phone connected to the laptop, I made the combination to get into fastboot (holding volume - & power button) until my laptop made a tiny nose (the same one I explained at the beginning). As soon as I heard it I left the phone and clicked on the flash button on Xiaomi Flash Tool. Yes, it worked out. I installed latest development chinese MIUI rom. From there, I got into fastboot, flashed a new recovery... Well that's another history, the fact is that the mi5s is working again and I must say I feel really relived.
If anyone encounters the same problem I had I hope this post is of any help to him/her.

You are welcome. I was afraid I wouldn't be of much help to you but I thought that it was a good idea anyway to leave my experience just in case at some point it proves helpful to someone.

Mi5 Bricked

Hi guys, i was trying to flash a global stable rom with edl and miflash but something went wrong and miflash says that memory was unsifficient. What should i do? I'm on windows 10 64bit with all adb installed (i think). I even disabled the driver license. I didn't do nothing since the error and i don't know if i should unplug the cable or whatever.

Device Drivers no longer working with Mi 9T

Recently I've tried using the Xiaomi Fastboot tools program on my computer and it wouldn't list my device. I checked my Device Manager in Windows and it says that the Drivers for this device aren't installed. (Code 28). I was able to do connect my phone before with no problem but now I'm having issues. I've tried uninstalling the Drivers for the device and reinstalling them but it doesn't work. Anyone have a solution?

Unlocking Tool gets stuck at either 50 or 99 %. "Can't unlock, Couldn't get info"

Unlocking Tool gets stuck at either 50 or 99 %. "Can't unlock, Couldn't get info"
So, I've tried to unlock my phone for 2 months now without any success. I've done basically everything I could think of, but the same problem persists. The problem is that it gets stuck at either 50 or 99%; followed by a message that says: "Can't unlock, Couldn't get info" Also, I've made sure to wait at least 10 days after I've reconnected my account to retry but the unlock tool won't even show how long I have left.
What I've tried:
- Changing USB ports, Gen 2, 3 and 3.1.
- Using a USB HUB
- Reinstalling ADB drivers
- Resetting my PC
- Trying a different PC
- Reinstalling Qualcomm Fastboot drivers
- Different cable
- Resetted my MI account
- Deleted and created a new MI account
- Used another sim card and phone number
I'm quite desperate as unlocking it is somewhat important for me. As a poor student, I can't really afford to sell it and buy another phone to unlock either.
I'm not sure what's going wrong. I've unlocked many (well, 5) android phones in the past and never had any major issues like this.
Any tips and ideas would be appreciated.
I had this issue before , what I did to solve it is :
1)Use Intel system (AMD won't ever work) and enable usb debugging
2)Don't plug in your phone yet, open Mi Unlock and log in till You reach searching for phone step
3)Open Mi Unlock settings and click install driver
4)Make sure your phone is turned on normally and plug it in through USB 2
5)You will see message on pc telling u drivers are installed now check the phone to see (USB settings) click File Transfer ,now Mi tool should say plug your phone in boot loader mode
6)Turn off your phone and while it is turning off unplug the USB , now boot into fastboot and then plug ur phone in USB 3 port
This is tricky and buggy I got it first time and reached the message after 100% verifying but it said I still had to wait some time so when I tried to unlock it after the time passed I had to repeat these steps couple of times to work so be patient
The problem is mi tool needs both ADB and Fastboot drivers to be working but most of the time its only Fastboot driver due to the phone shutting down so its buggy as hell
https://prnt.sc/rbmvam
These are the drivers that should be both working so check them while repeating the steps if you got them both working you are good to go
The first time i tried to unlock my bootloader, unlock tool would be stuck at connecting to the device and couldn't see it.
No matter what i did it would never see it.
So i decided to try xiaomi tool v2 (not endorsed by Xiaomi). I also used a usb hub that i plugged to my laptop usb c and finally my device could be unlocked.
Did you buy the phone used or new?
Does it have a Global ROM, or it is a Global Version or CN?

Mi A2 not detected by PC after flashing

Hii! ^^ Yesterday I tried to root my Mi A2, but it screwed up my phone. Then, today I tried to flash the stock rom into my phone with miflash. The thing is that it stucked at 100%, so I searched on Google. I found a java program that worked for many people, so I wanted to try it. When I was ready to open the program, I closed miflash. And now my pc won't detect the phone both on the Android One logo and fastboot mode. What can I do?
