Hi Guys
Never had a problem with my P9, never had a problem with software.
I am currently on EVA-L09C432B378 software (official Android 7.0) and yesterday, due to the issues with network provider, I thought that phone is playing up (no internet despite 3G icon in notification area) so I have restarted it twice or three times.
After restarts, phone was not getting any phone signal, but that was not because of my phone.
Just the network ("Three") had some issues (found out later on on their Facebook profile).
Anyway - after those restarts, I have noticed that almost all my personal settings are gone and phone is almost like it would be after factory reset. Main ringtone has changed back to the default, notification tone went back to default, notification and status bar all settings went to default, brightness settings, sleep timeout, auto-rotate went off, eye-comfort went off, vibrate when ringing went off, also the Do not disturb is now "Off" and I do have to set things like this again.
The options which did not change are Wifi, Bluetooth (including remembered networks and devices), PIN, smart unlock, fingerprint ID.
Did anyone ever had such a strange thing and do you know if there is a way to backup only the phone settings (even using built in Huawei Backup app)?
Yes i have had this a couple of times - personal prefs change, back to default keyboard, default ringtones and some (but not all) apps need to be logged in again.
Ive recently flashed up to B390 - will see if it behaves itself more!
Make sure you're not logged in as a guest on your device. Settings/Advanced Settings/User Mode

I've created a rule to put the phone into DND (priority only) mode from 11pm to 5am every day and have enabled it.
However, it doesn't get activated and I've to manually enable it from quick settings.
Is anyone else also experiencing the same? Is there some other setting to enable it to work correctly?
I'm on Stock ROM (unmodded anyhow).
Received the P4XL yesterday and set it up. Put up an alarm in the morning but the phone crashed in the night and no alarm ring in the morning.
the phone Was half alive, App drawer worked but wasnt able to start any apps (only Black or blank screen). After reboot all the missed alarms showed up.
Anyone else noticed something like this?
I've had this happen with my Pixel 3 and other phones.
It doesn't even have to be a crash, it can be as simple as a reboot. It seems that Android's alarm scheduling doesn't kick in until the phone is first unlocked after a restart, so if anything causes your phone to restart overnight, no alarm. I've been late for work more than once because of this.
Samsung phones in particular let you schedule a weekly automatic restart for maintenance purposes; on all my Samsungs I have to make sure to schedule it for a night where I never need to have an alarm go off the next morning.
I have also had bugs with Do Not Disturb blocking alarms even though I set it not to. It's rare, but it happens.
I have been using phones as my alarm clock for years, but it's always a bit of a gamble. So many things can go wrong.
I use Do Not Disturb mode often, both scheduled and manually. And at least twice now my setting for "Don't allow any calls" has changed itself to "Allow calls from anyone."
Once was when I had manually engaged Do Not Disturb mode, and this morning it was during a scheduled period. It has now disrupted a meeting and my sleep. I can't understand why this setting would not be sticking. I never had this problem on my Pixel XL, and it's making Do Not Disturb mode unusable.
Anyone else have issues with this?

I've noticed a switch to "Allow calls from anyone" usually after monthly updates. Used to happen with my Pixel 2 XL too.

I thought it was related to the monthly updates but the latest occurrence definitely wasn't related to an update. I had checked the setting 3 days ago when it disturbed a meeting, and there have been no updates in the last 3 days.
If I set a schedule, do not disturb turns on, but it does not turn off in the morning, I've only seen it work once.
What about everyone else?
It works fore me as expected. No problems.

Same with me. It often doesn't turn off in the morning.
How can they mess up software between phones lol.
I've had it with Asus on the rog 2. Things don't work for me and perfect for some others, but not all.
It works normally for me. It might related to an application.

I'd have no idea what app might be doing that.
I've also had issues with scheduled DND not working - turns on normally but doesn't turn off at the scheduled time
If you are like me and migrated from another Android phone to Sony XPeria 1 II and restored your backup onto the new phone, then you probably have issues with the "Do Not Disturb" you had in the old phone. I was going bonkers trying to figure out why it didn't work. Changing the schedule profile didn't fix it either. What finally fixed it was deleting the schedule altogether and then creating a new schedule. Then it worked as intended.
Also, ticking "Alarm can override" option messes up the schedule as well.
I have the same problem even when I set 2 schedules hoping the 2nd one will work as a backup... I don't think I imported the schedule from old phone settings. Anyway i will delete and create a brand new schedule. Fingers crossed.

The function works properly, it's just that the indicator stays on. Maybe it's by design, to show that a schedule is active, regardless if at that moment notifications are enabled or not. My do not disturb schedule ends at 10 am, at that moment I get all notifications of the night before, but the indicator is still on.

Unfortunately didn't work for me most of the time as phone stayed in DND mode (even though alarm will sound) and frustrating since I missed a lot of calls since I don't get any ring sound or notifications sound.

As stated above, the phone is on silent mode. Notifications are there but no sound. I have to turn off DND manually and it is frustrating!
Just to report in: I've definitely had issues with DND. I thought it may have been a magisk module or something that I've done, but I think it's clear that it's something going on with the ROM itself. The only things I migrated from my old phone was text messages. Everything else was new data. Unless every random person in this thread happens to be doing the same weird thing that prevents this, the ROM itself has issues.
A user (cmahey) from Reddit mentioned that in the main DND menu there's a 'Default duration' option, just set it to 'Ask Every Time' and problem solved. I have tested for 2 days and seems to be working!

You are right, I always have my phone on silent, but I saw the notifications coming through, so I assumed that it worked properly.
I did some reading, many brands seem to have this problem. And I did some testing and found a working solution (at least on my device): If you go to Settings, Sound, Do not Disturb, go to the schedule that you set and go to it's properties. there you will see a setting which translated from Dutch should be something like The clock can ignore the endtime. It's the setting under the Endtime. Disable this setting. Now it should work properly (I tested only one day now, so no guarantees)

Will try this!
Well that didn't work......guess I'll just stick to manually turning DND off. At least it turns on at night time, which is the main thing.
After I installed the latest firmware update (194) it is working correctly since 2 days.

Bummer, on day 3 it didn't turn off automatically
