Hi guys,
I had a raspberry pi 4b given to me because the owner could not get it to work. I am not sure what they did to it or what they tried. If I can get it to work I would like to use it for an Android tv box or something. The person i got it from said whatever is causing the problem caused it right out of the box.
I purchased an official power cord and charger for it as well as an HDMI cable. When I plug it into my monitor I get a bunch of green blinking lights. It is hard to count how many times. Then I get solid green and red lights. Can anyone offer any suggestions on what I can try to get it working?
Thank you,
Rocky

I have been having this problem for a while and I can't figure out a solution.
When I plug in my kaiser to the computer, everything seems to work fine, however the active sync won't start and won't recognize the device. Also the device won't charge even though it shows the amber ligtht and the screen become brighter when I connect. I have the same problem with my car chargers.
If I use the HTC splitter (USB and Audio) everthing works the way it should be. But if I use a direct cable, bypassing the splitter nothing works. What is in that splitter that makes everything work? About 2 months ago, I didn't need a splitter to have it working. Is it a Rom issue?
Guys I do need help. It just drives me crazy.
Thanks.
Could be a slightly damaged mini usb connection. Have a look at the bottom of your kaiser and see if any pins are moved in the USB ext connector.
Yeah guy, I reported this issue with Kaisers & specifically Tilts 6 months ago. Have a look at your USB port pin on the device. If it is curved or the right side of the pin is slightly lower (Not arrow straight) then you may have sloppily placed your stylus on a soft reset. Sometimes this can be fixed by VERY GENTLY bending it back into shape with the stylus or another semi-rigid & smooth tool, that's if it not to badly jacked up. Because it charges in the home charger I'm about 90% sure that's your issue.
you guys are right. THe usb was slightly bent. Upon reading about the problem, I straighten it back however still the same problem. I am looking into getting a big magnifier to see if I see anything out of order.
In the meantime does anybody know a place in Toronto who is capable to fix this issue? I know a lot of people have problems but I don't want to send the device away.
Hello everyone, I've searched all over for an answer to this one with no joy.
I've had my stock Orange locked Diamond for almost two years now, and towards the end of a family break I dropped it.
Now it won't switch on beyond an initial buzz, and none of the mini USB chargers or pc cables will persuade it to charge.
The problem is that I used it to take all the photos during the family break, and now can't access them.
Now I read the reply about "jump" charging the battery and will be giving that a go, but can the memory chip be accessed independantly to offload the contents?
I should add that for quite a while before, the phone picked up and dropped the usb connection when connected with a frequency of about 3 - 5 seconds, which was very annoying.
Many thanks in advance
Luke
Little update
Hello all, thank you for reading about my plight.
Well I managed to charge the battery, and I think the phone switches on, as the volume controls make the appropriate sounds. However the screen is black, and even under heavy sun I can't see anything, so it's not just the backlighting that's gone.
The pc doesn't notice it when I connect, so I can't get in that way, unless someone can point me to how to chop up a cable and hardwire a data connection "upstream" of the mini-USB socket? (I'm hoping it's just the connector which is dead)
Otherwise, is there a combination of hardware buttons that will switch on bluetooth? I dropped it when it was in airplane mode. I had BT explorer checked, so if I can get BT on, I should be able to browse the phone with the pc? Please confirm.
Looking forward to reading your suggestions
Cheers
Luke
ps now I've discovered the limitations of a fixed memory; if the card were removable, all this wouldn't be an issue.

Thanks, I'll give it a try
Hi, thanks for the tip, I guess I have nothing to lose.
I've just found an appropriate screwdriver so here goes.
I saw that thread, but as one of the symptoms involved actually being able to read something on the screen, I didn't pay that much attention.
News soon.
Cheers
Luke
ok let me know.. best of luck
OMG it worked!
Hi, fantastic tutorial.
It took me several attempts to realise that when you say "chip" you mean circuit board.
Pressing and pressing gave no joy, but further investigation showed that I could slip the screwdriver underneath the loose connector and engage it from there.
Yes bad design on HTC's part, there should be some sort of physical lock, or at least a block underneath that pushes the connector into its socket.
However nice the phone was, the WM6 bugs & glitches were annoying, the USB connection still doing that really annoying thing of connecting and disconnecting every few seconds, so it's going to be hard to retrieve the photos; GRRR!
Does anyone know of a program that can block send files from the phone, either over wifi or bluetooth??
Anyway, many many thanks Siddharthsai, at least it's up and running. I doubt I'll be using it much now, despite that superb screen, my insurance replaced it with a Desire, and I have to say I'm impressed with my new toy
Oh yes, where's the command for auto screen lock? It's annoying me.
Many thanks again
Luke
Getting there
OK so thanks to Diamond tweak I was able to stop the screen locking every 5 seconds.
The USB problem is mechanical; I forced the phone down onto its mini USB plug really hard and it stayed connected. Thanks to SuperCopier 2 I was able to dump the contents before my hand got cramp
Yippee.
So I've got TomTom on the diamond, but no on-board nav on the Desire. My diamond might just end up relegated to being the permanent in car nav unit.
Anyone got a fix for the dodgy USB problem? I've tried all 3 of my mini-usb cables, but they do all happen to be HTC oem.
I guess that's why the micro USB has been adopted.
Thanks
Luke
Hello all, thanks for taking the time to look at my thread.
Last night I put my M7 on the charger and when I woke up it would not turn on. Also the indicator LED was not on, neither orange or green. I tried several cables, wall warts, car chargers to no avail. After a bit of googling I came across an issue where the device shows up in Windows device manager as QHSUSB_DLOAD, and this is exactly my case. I am in the process of trying a fix that uses Ubuntu, but I would like some input, or any ideas I could also try to resurrect my phone.
It was rooted and running ViperRom, on their last version of KitKat. I have not flashed anything to it since that update came out. Also it had the stock kernel to that Rom.
The phone has not responded to any button press combinations, nor the bright lights on the sensor.
Finally I did notice that my PC, as well as my aftermarket car stereo, were able to connect to the phone but were unable to interact with it.
Please if anyone has any input I am open to all suggestions, also if you need more info/details about the situation I will answer any question as best I can.
Thanks again!

QHSUSB_DLOAD issue happens for 2 reasons
Hardware failure (most likely the motherboard)
Bad firmware flash
Cause #2 can be fixed using the unbrick project with ubuntu.
Cause #1 requires a motherboard replacement.
Since you didn't flashed anything that directly resulted with a qhsusb_dload brick then its #1.
i was afraid of that, thanks for your reply!
Hey guys, i have a KYD HU and for some days now, it does not boot any more.
When i turn on the engine, the LEDs are flashing for a millisecond. Then darkness.
But the recovery-menu works. I can flash it with a new ROM and the power button
works too. When i chose "restart" same again, flashing led, then nothing happens.
Any ideas?
Do you need more information? Please, i don't want to buy a new HU
I have the same issue.
Same issue here: today when getting the car to drive home from office my HU didn't boot.
But I cannot enter recovery too...
Nobody has an idea?!?
Post specs of the HU

It's an EONON G2110Z
i had a issue similiar with that with a diferent HU but the solution might work the same.
connect a wire from your reverse light, positive, to the reverse in wire from the unit. star the car/radio with the reverse gear in. wait 30 seconds and disconnect reverse gear. this might make the radio bypass initial boot. if it works, replace your bootlogo/bootanimation and try again the normal way
Hey, i do not understand this. There normally is a wired connection from the reverse gear for the camera. Which connection du i have to bypass?
Hey guys, can someone help me out?
I just recently bought this gamepad, and it was working wonders on my PC (using it as bluetooth since my ROG 3 Phone hasn't been delivered yet). But here's the thing. Just recently I've tried to reconnect my gamepad via bluetooth to my PC, but there was an error. So I unpaired the gamepad, and tried to pair it again afterwards. But this time, I can't seem to find my Kunai 3 Gamepad anymore on the listed devices.
At first I thought it was just something wrong on the PC end, so I took my phone to check and pair it there. No results, I can't find the Kunai 3 device even on my phone's bluetooth. I know the steps to pair with the gamepad. I tried using the USB mode and it works directly to my PC, no issues there. But the problem still persists that I can't find my device on Bluetooth anymore. Its like it bugged out since that last failed pairing session.
Does anyone here know if I can find a way to reset the gamepad? This might be a software issue. I found a reset button besides the M2 button behind the left controller, but I don't know how to use it. There's no instructions on the manual, even online.
Thank you in advance.
Press the button in the lower left corner on the left gempad, the blue indicator should be blinking. I sent my gepad back, the mounting structures and the lack of plugs for attaching the cover confused me and the unrealistically large size with the gempads connected in my hands is just ugly and inconvenient. Very unlucky gempad and size, if you use only bluetooth, then it's good, but the price is too high. For a phone, this gempad is simply not needed if there is no docking station. But everyone has their own tastes, which are not argued about

I know how to pair via bluetooth, but the issue is even though it's blinking and pairing, the device won't show up anymore. I was wondering if there's a way to reset the gamepad itself.
And yeah, the gamepad depends on the taste of the user. But for me it's pretty neat since I can do touch mapping when my ROG 3 comes around soon.
Noone else has found this issue?
I have the exact same issue, found no fix so far. To make matters worst now I can't even update it to new firmware. When I connect it to the phone it finds the 3.something update starts updating disconnects at the end and when it restarts I get the update again meaning it faild ! Asus told me to send it to an asus repair shop but I can't do that as I got mine second hand because I could not find it anywhere else. And no I did not buy a broken one cause it was working fine untile like 2 weeks ago! In fact when I got it first thing it did was an update and it worked just fine then as well as after until 2 weeks ago
This is a failure. As well as rog phone 3 itself. The screen problem still torments me. Updating doesn't help. The phone cost 1.199 € and the warranty does not recognize a mistake with the screen. I was lucky that I got rid of gempada in two days. Everything that comes from the Asus rog phone turns out to be a failed experiment ... We are not experimental to do this with us ... I will not take anything else from the mobile that is related to Asus, bitter experience and disappointment in endless expectations have already been enough for me ..

I have no problem with the phone, the phone is actually grate for me so far, it's better then anything I've seen. Don't know about the other accessories to it (cause everything is out of stock and I can't get them) but I'm disappointed in the Kunai 3, not only because of the problems I have with them but also the fact that they feel really cheep and there is almost no support regarding them!
I had the same issue. The fix for me was to take an apostrophe out of the phone's name. I had it as Name's ROG Phone 3. Changing it to Names ROG Phone 3 made it pair straight away.
You are a life savior man
Been making me crazy for a few days now.
And yes-changing the name of the phone fixed this bugger.
