Question Zoom does not recognise bluetooth headset - Motorola Edge 30 Ultra / Motorola Moto X30 Pro

Hi, during a zoom meeting the bluetooth headset (Jabra Elite 85T) cannot be recognised properly. Audio comes out from the headset fine but the microphone is not working. Zoom somehow treats the headset as an audio out device and there's no "audio switching" icon on the top left corner. The "CrystalTalk AI" notification prompts in and zoom is apparently using the phone's mic. The headset also does not go into "calling mode" since pressing the left earbud to mute does not work. However the headset works fine with all other calling apps like phone, whatsapp and Line etc.
I've tried disabling CrystalTalk, "originall audio" in zoom setting etc but no avail. Any idea?

Headset mic and controls

Hi,
I have a set of Sony earphones/headset that I used on my iPhone. It has a button and mic like the stock iPhone ones.
I have a couple of questions:
1) I have tried a 'droid' app that enable music controls from the headset button, it didn't work.
Is there anyway to disable the default option that 'doubleclick' redials the last number? (Some other music apps include this feature, but I have found them all to have problems. bTunes was close, but it crashes with 12g of music.)
2) The iPhone heaset mic works on my HTC, the Sony one doesn't. The Sony one is fine on the iPone, but the mic doesn't work on the HTC. (Although the headset icon appears)
Any help much appreciated.

[Q] App to disable speaker when BT or headset in use?

I'm trying to find an app, widget, or whatever that will completely disable the speaker on my T-Mobile G2 if a headset or BT is active.
Currently, ringtones and notifications come through the headset AND the speaker at the same time, only media comes through just the headset. If a headset is plugged in or BT enabled, I think that the speaker should be OFF. (WinMo has always done this. -- I just discovered this "feature" about Android while trying to adjust some ringtones while on an airplane with my headset plugged in - very embarrassing...)
Any and all suggestions would be welcome.
I've looked at several volume control apps, but few seem to support this feature. I tried Advanced Audio Manager that does have profiles for headphone and BT, but they either don't work on my G2 or just disable ringtones completely.

Bluetooth Audio output

Does anyone know of a reliable Bluetooth Audio App? i tried (what seems to be the only one on the market) Bluetooth Audio widget app and it does the trick... it transfers all the sound like music, gps directions and phone call to my jawbone. The application itself crashes all the time and the widget it self is non responsive sometimes and you have to remove it and add it again.
I'm not sure what you mean. I have a stereo bluetooth headset for running and such and all I do is enable bluetooth on my phone and turn on the headset (it was one I got on new egg by motorola and will take calls as well). Anyways it automatically transfers audio after that to the headset only. I assume this is the way out normally is for any headset.

[Q] Sound output select

I use the MW1 bluetooth headset, and sometimes after pausing it both from the phone or the MW1, when I restart it it either plays sound through the phone's speaker, or just... nowhere.
Is there an app or (preferably) a widget for the menubar where I can select from all connected or builtin outputs? So, it should show both phone speaker, headset connected to the phone, or bluetooth units.

Bluetooth Microphone not working

I have 2 pairs of bluetooth headphones, each with a built-in microphone. My phone (galaxy s10) however, refuses to use those microphones. When I plug in wired headphones I can use the mic without a problem.
But when I connect my bluetooth headphones, the microphone simply doesn't work. I've looked through every option but can't seem to find a way to use the microphone.
Does android10/samsung even support bluetooth microphones? Is there any option I've overlooked?
Hi,
I can confirm I am having this exact issue with Galaxy A40.
Can you tell me if recording of the Bluetooth mic works if you use the MicTest (by Laureano) app form the app store?
This works great for me. Which tells me the mics in my case (a plantronic and a jabra) both work just fine.
But when it comes to calling and using other apps (Teams, Whatsapp, Samsung voice recorder) the phone just defaults to the internal microphone.
Is there a setting missing here?
