You could try changing the package name before you install it but I don't know if that would actually work.

I am currently using LiGUX + N.O.P.E. Kernel V2.6.
I found one problem and maybe someone can help me.
I cannot install an application from Google market.
There is a cross mark and message "This item is not compatible with your device".
But earlier when I used CyanogenMod10 BUILD #3 + N.O.P.E. Kernel V2.6. or at begin with stock ROM I have nothing problem use this application.
If I am using Market helper to hide my device, then I can install this application, but cannot run. In this case is error something like "missing library".
Any suggestion or idea what to do?

Scroll down until you find clear data and cache...clear them...
They will remove all the settings, account logged in the play store. Hence you can open it fresh.
Check if it works...

You Can try Warriors Method but here is a explanation!
The Gplay Store Reads the build prop file so if there is modifications to it that the app doesn't support Google play will say NO!
I would try editing the build.prop file

This is caused by missing dependencies. Check the thread for Codename Lungo, I explain the steps to get it fixed. It'll be useful if you can tell which app is giving you trouble.

I see, it uses location-aware dependencies. First make sure you have Google Maps and Google Search installed. Then try deleting the cache of Play Store, reboot and try again. If it's still not working then try the steps in the Codename Lungo thread.

Yes. That should fix it. I need to edit that post because it's missing a few steps:
A) You need to have Google Maps and Google Search installed.
B) After you extract the file to the Permissions folder, assign same r/w permissions.
3) After you complete the steps, clear Play Store cache and then reboot.
Let me know if you need more help.

THIS IS FOR ANDROID 6.0+ ONLY!!!
This is mod I use on my LG V10.
Package was originally created as an add-on for Eliminater74's Rom.
I just ported it over as a flashable zip for my use but I figured I'd share.
Put zip on your external sd card and flash from twrp.
You will get a few "BlackBerry services not working " in the beginning but they will soon go away after some usage. These apps were on the BlackBerry Priv and are pretty useful especially the Hub. If there are some apps you don't like, just uninstall or freeze with titanium backup.
There is a launcher, contacts, calendar, bbhub, password keeper..... just a bunch of stuff.
Enjoy

Do you use titanium backup? If so, under preferences you can use market doctor to attach app links to play store and that should help. But, j700h is outside the U.S.? That might be the issue but I can't say for sure. Try market doctor and let me know please.
Thanks.

You lost me there. What non- rooted apps?
- Just looked it up. Didn't even know about that page. So did you use the BlackBerry manager as described?

Yes, installed the Blackberry Manager by Colbalt and it lets you install all the apps.
I prefer however downloading the folders from Colbalt (just check one of the previous posts on the thread) and install the apps I like (blackberry hub, calendar and keyboard) -the rest are just average (contacts on MM is way better than that of BB)

Hi,
I am very much fond of google dialer, contact and message apps instead of stock apps for those .
I don't want to flash the gapps large package for those apps. I want to know is there any way to get those apps and replace the stock apps.

just disable them. Disabling is as good as uninstalling, if saving 30mb of space is not your concern.

Go to play store uninstall the themes. It will bring you back to the original stock version. Disable autobackup. Look for 9.0.6.306 version. Also download the app gallery app. you can change your region to UK. Then you get what you want.
Sorry, install that 9.0.6.306 version. I have it I'll try to add it here

I know the "disable miu optimizations" trick but that ain't a good idea, and i can install a third party Always On Display app from the Playstore, but with the latter the fingerprintscanner doesn't function well when unlocking the device so a no go either.
Any other workarounds to get rid of that ridiculous 10 second limitation from Xiaomi other than installing a custom rom?
If i knew this in advance i would have never bought this phone.

If the apps come from the play store, it should be safe.
Some apps need specific permissions to work.
It's just the security on the Xiaomi that blocks while on other brands these authorizations are automatically granted.

Hi, I found this magisk module on Mods center Telegram channel (which yes, needs to be rooted)
This basically removes the 10s limit. Don't have any screenshot but should work in the latest MIUI 13 since the module was made recently (posted on September 15 in the channel)
PS: Never tested it myself on stock ROM
