Question Galaxy Fit2 keeps disconnecting - Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

The Wearables app itself also loses a record of the watch and makes me re-pair (bluetooth).
Sorry for posting this here, unless someone is aware of where I should be posting this.

[Q] Bluetooth headset connection problem (solved by disabling WiFi)

Hi, I do know that there been reported quite a few problems with Galaxies bluetooth.
I have Motorolla HT820 headset. It connects without any problems. Starts playing music. However, every odd 30 (sometimes more) seconds it stops playing music for some 0.5-1 seconds.
Checked that headset works okay with other phones, so its problem in phone.
Anyone has similar problems, or it works for them without problem (eg. maybe other variants of galaxy s work better)?
Turn off WIFI. It is a common Android problem.

Seriously? Thats it? I spent god knows how long trying to fix it, used different firmwares, searched in google quite a lot (obviously not good enough, as I thought its a galaxy only issue)... God android sux in some things...
Thanks, mate!
PS. Topic can be closed.
EDIT: After testing a few minutes it appears thats it is enough to just switch off - switch on WiFi to fix it (I assume for the duration of one session).

Bluetooth Audio Stutter / Skips

I have received my T-Mobile Note 4, and I have the infuriating problem of random Bluetooth streaming skips / stutters. Does anyone else have this issue? I know it was a known problem on the S5's, and it never really got fixed...
Does anyone have any solutions for this? I checked out the ViPER EQ mod, could that help?
Currently I am 100% stock (latest version, got the T-Mobile patch right away), and I only use Spotify for music. I have experienced stutter in my Nissan, a pair of Sennheisers, and a Monoprice Bluetooth adapter. What's also upsetting is that the stock Samsung music player often starts playing when a Bluetooth streaming device is connected...
Any advice?

I am having the same issue. I really don't know if this is an issue or not. I drive charger and my M8 was the same. It's annoying I feel ya. hopefully someone can tell us how to control this thing.
i've had that issue since HTC One...
not sure if i ever saw a way to fix this issue.

It's funny because I'm coming from the M8 and it was flawless for me. That is was running 4.4.2, whereas this is 4.4.4... Any correlation?

I really don't know if this an issue. My M8 4.4.3 and had same thing. But to be fair Note 4 is more superior inside my car. I am able to listen to my text msg. Voice commands works really good on note 4.
I have this issue from time to time on my Nexus 5. I have to reboot it to fix it. It happens maybe 1 out of 30 times I use BT headsets. Enough to be annoying but not a deal breaker. I am beginning to think this may be an Android issue and not Samsung. Those that have the issue on Note 4, does a reboot fix the problem?
Every now and then when I play Tunein Radio Pro, it would be a hick up. I already did the 30 sec buffer. But usually it works. Is this what you mean?
In my Jeep Wrangler I have BlueTooth. Every few months when I get a new device, I always have to call my mom for the BlueTooth test. The Note 4 has been the only phone to pass. For whatever reason my mom's phone would always sound like I was in a tunnel with the exception on the Note 4. Even the LG G3 failed this. In my 2012 GTI I had issues with some devices as well as my 08 WRX. It always came down the the BlueTooth stack for phone call quality and skipping and sometimes just dropping/crashing out of BT all together. Hope you guys get yours resolved. I know this is a huge problem. Heck when Note had its recent update, I was worried it would break something its just been too good so far! Best of luck guys.
I believe its a kitkat bug. It happened on my note 3 as well
Might warrant a return.
This is so annoying. I'm coming from an M8 (and previously M7) and use bluetooth for everything. Wireless headphones at the gym, wireless speakers at home, media in my car, and a Moto360.
Never had any skips/stutters on previous devices through any of these. Moreover, sometimes the music just STOPS and drops the connection and I have to repair the two devices in the middle of a workout. Is anyone experiencing the music STOPPING? Might return/exchange mine if not.
This happens through any media app - GPM, Milk, Netflix, etc. Want to throw my device.
I am having this issue in my Outback, but it is not happening in my WRX. I was thinking maybe it just doesn't like one, but now I see this is a larger issue. I haven't had this problem with my S5, so maybe it'll clear up when some Roms are released.
I'm having the same issue with my wireless Bluetooth headphones. I thought it was because I was too far away from the phone, but I'm having the same problem when I'm close to the phone also. My Note 3 does not have this problem.
I used my like at least 6 years old Bluetooth headset for like the 4 hours and in that time I barely had skips it only skipped when I left the room and went a few feet away also
Sent from my SM-T210R using XDA Free mobile app
same here
I'm having the same problem
I find this happens when the screen is off. When it's on, no issue. I hope an update fixes this soon.
This stopped after I went to Firekat Rom. Not sure why or how, but Bluetooth is smooth now

Just wanted to verify if anyone is NOT experiencing this issue? If there are Note's out there that are not experiencing it then I might exchange mine. If this is a software issue for all notes then this blows.

As I reported before, I had a similar issue on my Nexus 5 and rebooting would fix it. It was a rare occurrence but it would happen from time to time.
I have not experienced the issue at all on my Note 4 in the 8 days I have had it. I use BT quite a bit with my Heart Rate sensor and BT headsets while running and also connected to my stereo in my Sonata. Has been flawless so far.
This might have something to do with S-Health. Audio skipped for me every 10 minutes or so. Didn't matter the BT equipment. Yesterday, I decided to Disable S_Health. Today, at the gym, about a 90 minute session...no skips. The guy above using FireKat, by any chance that rom has S-Health disabled/uninstalled by default?

Galaxy S6 Edge Bluetooth problems

Hello Everyone. I noticed lately that my bluetooth connects for call audio, and media, but after like 5 minutes the media disconnects, and won't reconnect. Makes it really hard to enjoy music and stuff when it keeps disconnecting. I had a galaxy S5 that I used In my car previous to this, and it never had this problem. Is there something I'm missing here? or is there a fix that was released that I can implement? Ideas?
Normally users would like to toggle the actual assistance off and then back in once again following minutes. When that will doesn’t repair the problem, it’s time for it to forget Bluetooth connections. Head into Bluetooth, engage the call and select Forget the trouble system or perhaps products.

Curious what car you have? I have a 2015 Civic and it's driving me nuts with the connection issues. It does what you're saying at some point during my drive. Tried resetting, deleting and re-adding Bluetooth profiles. I'm not sure if it's the Edge itself or the stupid Hondalink system that is causing issues with the Bluetooth connection because it's made for Apple products.

Android Auto Apps Skipping Audio

An issue has risen in the last 3 weeks that has become quite annoying. I am connecting a Galaxy S6 (SM-G920T1) on a T-Mobile Network to an AVH-4100NEX in a 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis. I travel frequently with trips ranging from 2 to 4 hours. It would seem to happen randomly, but the audio (noticed on Audiobooks.com, Spotify, and BeyondPod) would slow down and skip [much like playing a video game that has dropped to very low FPS] and pressing pause will not fix the issue, as the button will say it's been paused but continue to play the messed up audio. The solution I've found was to unplug my device and plug it back in and rewinding the track to the position it began skipping when listening to audio books. It happens randomly between 15 - 30 minutes. On my last trip, I was exiting an interstate highway and, while the audio was skipping the same way on BeyondPod, my Google Maps gave me verbal directions that were clear and undisturbed. It's not just far away trips anymore, just this morning it happened while listening to an audio book and commuting to the office (15 minute drive). This has only been in the last 3 weeks that this issue was occurring.
If anyone has a solution, it would be greatly appreciated. Not only is this embarrassing when someone is riding with me, but it is dangerous for me to have to constantly reconnect during rush hour traffic.
By the by, this occurs both on streaming media and media played directly from my device, so network connectivity is not the issue. Additionally, I've tried several USB cables to ensure that it was not a faulty cord (from Pioneer, Samsung, and 3rd Party); each having the same issue.

I have the exact same issue with my NEX4100 and my Nexus 6P. Latest firmware is installed on the NEX4100.
I have it happening during music playback in Google Play Music, and lately in the Audible app which I have been using a LOT. It happened twice during my 30 minute commute home on both of the last 2 trips home.
During a short trip at lunchtime today I listened to some music from a flash drive plugged into USB1 without issue.
I might just try Bluetooth audio for the Audible app, but I get random dropouts in the audio sometimes.
I found this thread but I was disappointed that no one had responded! I was hoping to find a solution.
Do you happen to use Android Wear also?

I never seem to be in luck with getting responses, but the issue eventually just stopped one day. Perhaps AA updated, but I didn't update any firmware neither on my device or radio. I am now using the Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935T) and have had no issues at all, albeit a few moments skip like a scratched CD via Spotify (playing on Hi-Def); but that could be entirely my data package. As for wearables, I use the Samsung Gear S2 Classic. I turned off the data package on it because the call forwarding was bugged. It works via bluetooth, but not worth $15 a month for a data package. The S Health is cool, too. Outside of the aesthetics of showing off that I'm a "techie", there is really no point to owning the watch (you can probably get a FitBit to do the same for much cheaper).

Hmmm. This sort of thing makes me wish I hadn't upgraded my head unit to to December 2015 firmware update (1.053 I think).
It happened again this morning, and I tried using just bluetooth for my audiobook for the rest of the drive and it worked fine. I disconnected my Android wear watch this morning too (I haven't been wearing it lately anyway), hoping that it may have been a contributing factor to the issues. Apparently it didn't help.
I'm just grasping at straws for a common denominator here. Do you use Tasker at all?
Thanks for the response!

At the time the audio was messing up, I hadn't purchase a wearable yet, so you could probably eliminate that. Are you playing your Audiobook locally or are you streaming it? I played mine locally via BeyondPod. I think it may have had something to do with the compression of the files, although a few times it occurred listening to Spotify.

The Audible book is downloaded to the device - so not streaming.

Is it like one big file or is it broken into "chapters"? I've found that the major issues I've had were from Audiobooks that were one huge file.

It is a long book - 500 plus pages. It is broken into many chapters, but I assume that it is one large file. Downloaded from the Audible store (actually accompanying the e-book via the Kindle app.

Any way to automate Android Wear airplane mode?

I and several others have ongoing problems with BT headsets on a Nexus 6 losing connection while an Android Wear watch is connected. I have created a profile to disconnect the watch while on a call, but it keeps reconnecting when the phone discovers it, as if it has come back into range. I have a loop to disconnect it every 30 seconds, but it still sneaks in and reconnects once in a while, which disconnects my headset.
I'd like to try putting the watch into airplane mode during a call instead. I am aware of Wear Aware and WearTasker, but it doesn't look like either of those can do this. Does anyone know for sure or can point me to a method to do this?
you try to create a workaround for a hardware or firmware/driver problem.so better change 1of those like the headsett...

Not sure I understand your English correctly, but I had already replaced the headset. The solution (so far) for me, was buying a 6P. :silly:
