Yeah i know that but my older oneplus use to have a setting in developer option...as soon you go to turn off phone ...you have option to go rate to recovery. On my Xiaomi 12s pro i have extended power mode in developer option
It's called Advanced Reboot or Advanced Restart and it's no longer available on OOS. Just use magisk or Simple Reboot app.

Is there any way to get Reboot (by itself, or along with the additional Reboot to recovery, etc.) on the power menu?

Only once you have root. You can probably make a shortcut to it on one of your homescreens using something like quickshortcutmaker, but that won't be quite the same.

Do you mean the answer is no I can't get Reboot on the power menu, but if I have root then I can make a desktop shortcut to reboot?
There is no way to get Advanced Power Menu without Root.
You can however hold down power and the device will reboot.

Not on the power menu but if you want to wipe temporary files and force a reboot you can do the following.
This will remove any temporary files that may be causing the problem, but will not delete your files or settings.
1. With the phone powered off, press the VOL DOWN KEY for 2-3 seconds then POWER key then release.
2. The device will display different BOOT OPTIONS
3. Use the VOL DOWN Key to SCROLL to Recovery and VOL UP Key to select
Tip: If the device reboots, you may have waited to long to make a selection, you will need to begin the process again.
4. The device will display the Motorola logo and then the Android in distress ( logo with Exclamation mark)
5. Press and hold the VOL UP key for 10-15 seconds. While still holding the VOL UP key tap and release the POWER key
Tip: You can try this step, holding the phone in landscape. If you are stuck on step 6, try a force reboot by pressing the Power key and Vol Down key, and start the process again.
6. The device will display additional menu options (Text will appear in BLUE)
7. Use the VOL DOWN Key to scroll to wipe cache partition and the POWER Key to select this option
8. The device will then perform the partition wipe
9. The device will reboot and start the normal power up sequence
I meant you can make a shortcut on the home screen without having root. The actual power menu can only be edited on phones with root access.

There's multiple apps that can put a shortcut on you're desktop, quickboot and ROM toolbox are just two examples, but they all require root access.
Pushing the power button for power menu extras can only be done with either xposed frameworks or a custom rom , again both require root and or unlocked bootloader

Apparently I was wrong about not needing root for a shortcut. My apologies for misleading you.

Actually, I have root. Does anyone know if there is an Xposed module for expanding the power menu options that works with the Moto X?

GravityBox has what you are looking for plus more.
How can I get extra buttons on power menu WITHOUT using Xposed? I'm using ART.
And also I have root.
Thanks.

Sir, all I find are widgets, and I don't want anything about that.
I just want to modify the power menu to access from the power button, but with the option of reboot, without using Xposed.
Thanks.

Not going to happen without Xposed or a custom rom that has an extended power menu.
As said above, there are apps. Quick boot works well and is not a widget.

You do realize there is a hidden/default reboot?
Hold power for 8 to 10 seconds & it reboots.

This is just one of the things I wanted to avoid to do (I found it forced, not like when I turn off the phone and then turn it on again), but anyway, I DID realize that, so... no way, to do this.
Thanks, anyway.
When I press the power button, I get a pop up that lets me change from ring to vibrate to no sound....let's me power off or turn airplane mode on/off.
But I used to have another option to reboot and then go into a choice of system or recovery. I seem to have lost that option.
How do I get the reboot option back?
I have a Verizon DE...4.2.2, rooted, unlocked, running TWRP recovery and of course superSU. I've reinstalled TWRP and superSU but that didn't bring the option back.
Its not an option by default. You get it from custom rom options, or Xposed modules.

He is correct sounds like your xposed Apps are not working or you need to install them i know gravity box gives you the option to add the reboot option.
enjoy
Or get quick boot from playstore. Not a power menu item, but an app.

Or just hold the power button for 6 or 7 seconds while unlocked and it will reboot. No app needed.

Try the power menu options, when you press restart you should get option for restart recovery, download, Reboot. Choose recovery and press ok. If you dont get that option enable the advanced reboot option from Developer options. if already checked, uncheck and recheck. To enable developer option press on build number 7 to 8 times.
Thanks Bro!!But Still no luck

This happens when one of the storages are not loaded properly then you get stuck on the twrp splash screen. Sometimes it takes about 20 seconds for the menu to appear.

It might mean there is a problem with the bootloader or the like. There is a flag that can get set that always reboots to fast boot. Some info in this thread. I'd be inclined to completely restart with a clean adb install of a recent factory image. YMMV
I installed latest MIUI On my Redmi 9prime (lancelot), after I am trying to boot in fastboot mode my phone only vibrate with black screen and boot up normally.
What I try
1. Try to boot using volume down + power button not worked
2. Try using adb command not worked.
3. Downgrade miui to 12.0.2 still not worked.
Pls help me I can't access my fastboot mode only long vibration and black screen then phone boot up normally
volume up+ volume down + power button
How long to hold button luckyly I tried after ur reply and it works but now the menu is not opening pls tell me exact process I little dumb here
Thanks bro it's work
Is any way to unlock bootloader without waiting???????
Power off your device
Hold volume up+down + power button for 10-15 seconds
You will get 3 options
Recovery
Fastboot
Normal
Use your power up button to navigate and select fastboot
That's it I guess
