Now that you installed TWRP or another custom recovery, here is a working GAPPS for Xiaomi Note Pro, this one so far works
perfectly, do not rely on manual install version as they are missing key lib and framework files.

Installed over existing Gapps no problem except while rebooting and updating my phone was that hot I could hardly touch it. Sat it on a cool damp sponge, once it finished it cooled back to normal.

Most important question to ask, i new to xiao mi environment,
Let say i install the developer rom, anytime i can download the stable rom and update over? While installing do i need clean data or the rom?
Do i need like use twrp to backup the stock rom first or something?
need your advice bro, and how about the recovery? as i know use flashify to backup and restore, as stock rom doesnt not have root yet, so cant backup as well.
Thanks if you can give me assurance

You won't get TWRP on without developer rom first as it fails through fastboot. The only method is using Flashify. Best thing is staying with developer rom as it is stable, had no problem at all with it. You will also receive weekly updates. Just don't flash TWRP because the updates will brake it needs to be stock recovery. You can install the developer rom by downloading it onto your phone and installing it using the Updater app on your phone. Once you have activated it the root permissions a bit strange. First what you have to do is open app that required root permissions, close the app then go to Security App>Permissions>Root Access and select the app. Yes you can flash the stock rom back at any time but you will loose root. I'm waiting for Xiaomi to release the Kernel Source, when that happens we will have custom roms such as Cyaongen mod, root methods etc..

It would have failed anyway without editing the build.prop xD
I made the update from stable global to beta global last week, because I needed to unlock bootloader. Now my plan was to wait for the first stable release of Lineage, but I didn't know about Xiaoumi.eu rom and that headphone volume was so bad on this stock (beta) rom...
Now my questions are:
Which partitions have to be wiped before flashing the ".eu" rom?
(Already googled this one on my own, see "EDIT")Are the weekly versions like Beta versions? If yes then would this one be the latest stable rom:
xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMAX2_V8.5.15.0.NDDCNED_v8-7.1.zip
Other than that there shouldn't be any other Things to worry about, right?
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: So I googled a bit about the meaning of weekly and I guess it will work well enough for me, downloading this one right now:
xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMAX2_7.10.12_v9-7.1.zip
I couldn't find much about my other questions though..
EDIT 2: I just went the "factory reset" way and wiped data, cache and dalvik and it worked.
No further questions from me.
Were you able to install Xposed on this ROM?

I'm on latest weekly MIUI 9 xiaomi.eu rom (7.10.19), which is Android 7.1 with Magisk 14.0. Flashed via iscle's TWRP.
Download for test4 (Android 7.1), Android 7.0 would be this one
Got the downloadlink from here: http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=946636&highlight=xposed
I suggest you to read the description in the MI Forum thread. I haven't tested any modules yet, I only know that the framework is active for me and that it disabled SafetyNet.

Thanks man, sadly I the phone still won't boot after installing this updated Xposed version. Here are the steps I did:
Install newest Xiaomi ROM (7.10.19)
Flash TWRP
Install Magisk 14 zip via TWRP
Boot up again to check if Magisk was installed (it was)
Flash V88.2_Sdk25_Arm64 Xposed zip
-> Phone doesn't boot
Did I do a dumb mistake here or sth?

Nope, that's more or less how I did it. But before I flashed this version of Xposed I installed the Xposed Installer. Maybe that's necessary, but I think not.
Can you try out flashing the no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip? I did it for something else earlier and also after every attempt of flashing Xposed.
If I understand it right some Xiaomi phones bootloop after you write to /system, then you have to flash that file to fix it. Xposed writes to /system, so that could be a solution.
Before you flash that research it a little bit more, because I don't know much about this topic and don't want to give you false advice.
EDIT:Did you flash the xposed version from my downloadlink? It is different from the regular 88.2 SDK25, it's a testversion made by the xposed creator specifically for MIUI 9 devices.
My new MI8 SE is not my daily use, so I got time to check all available MIUI custom rom (eu,Globe,MiRum,Miuipro,Ros,MS and Masik 1.8.)
At this point no problem, they install very well and they answer my needs.
BUT:
AS EVERYBODY should know that it is very easy to delete the central Password and finger print by the mean of our sophisticated tool (I mean TWRP).
In order to be safe '(without turning back to stock rom) I tried to encrypt the phone WITHOUT success...
Process failed every time with different results (full reset, logo loop for hours, partial encrypt for data only). But was always the point that minimum security can't be reached!
Question:
-Can you well sleep If you mind that you are having all your precious data available in the wind as soon your phone is lost or stolen or even worst let in some bad friends hands...? It takes 1 mn to delete the file without any computer.
I see a partial solution by installing afterward a stock recovery that does allow to trick the system file.
(If somebody has it, I am available to test this option, but don't tell me to flash a stock rom as solution!!)
Your comments/solutions are welcome.
You can have encryption with custom ROM, if the corresponding kernel enabled built-in force encryption.
I'm currently running phh treble 9.0 encrypted, with stock kernel patched by this script:

Thanks for taking care of my post.
This is old now.
I've investigated a bit more and found ways to get MIUI custom ROM encrypted. (for now I want to stay with MIUI stuff!)
I know that almost all AOSP like rom may well encrypt from first install.
My aim was and is still to warn people that without encrypt their phone are open like a lost book.
Thanks for the very interesting and documented thread (link) you directed me to.

Just take care to flash latest 1227 version after EU rom older than 8.12.20 date.
In my view it's a mistake to backup anything with TWRP because as of today nothing is stable. Better to stay with MIUI backup and computer duplication.

you flash 9.2.15 with TWRP 1102 or 1217.

you flash twrp 1227 and THEN you reboot the rom and wait install finish, take some time be partient.

Finally i got it working following your instructions on the MIUI EU forum. Thanks a bunch. :victory: :highfive:
To others for reference. Following are the procedures that i followed to boot up Miui Eu :silly:
- Flash official 8.12.13 (Dev Fastboot Rom) through MiFlash.
- Flash TWRP 1102
- Clean Data
- Push/ Copy and Flash 8.12.20( EU Rom), it booted up finally without redirecting to Fastboot.
- Update 8.12.20 to latest available from system updater.
- Now there won't be any recovery or we aren't able to enter into available recovery even though the system boots.
- Flash TWRP 1227.
i am a mi 11 ultra user, i gought it from China, and i have already unlocked it and flash it to global version Miui 12.5.5.0, now my device shows for an existing update of version Miui 12.5.7.0, which is already dowmloaded to my device, but the device cannot execute it.
i am trying since days to find a way to update my phone to version 12.5.7.0 without success, any body can help to solve my problem.
thank you!
Is that downloaded ROM is fastboot or flashable .zip file ?
xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V12.5.7.0.RKACNXM_v12-11
this is the name, i don't know what kind of ROM!
The update was received automatically trough OTA or did you downloaded the update manually ?
I had to download the full 4GB or so 15.5.7 update because the incremental one wasn't working.
Please let me know if you need assistance on installing the full update. You can find the rom on one of the threads on this forum.
Good luck !

From the filename it's not the Global ROM but the Xiaomi.EU custom ROM.
This would also mean it's an update to be flashed using TWRP.
Sadly for now the update through system settings doesn't work as TWRP doesn't presently support this feature.
So you need to download the update (which you apparently did ), then boot into TWRP and flash the update from there.

Reboot to TWRP ( use can use the shortcut in settings, device settings, my device and click on the 3 dots top right for menu). Once in twrp, enter screen lock password press return. Select install, select update zip file and slide the slider to the right to flash.
Once done select wipe cache and dalvik, slide the slider to the right to wipe, then select reboot system. This will not format your data as long as it's the same ROM branch you are updating, IE EU weekly to weekly, stable to stable or stock to same stock.
It will take longer to reboot first time but as long as you see miui and 5g, just wait, it will be fine.

Do you need TWRP to be installed first? Did not know this route, thought you needed a PC.
the device is stuck to this point!
thank you anyway!

You need TWRP to flash that
here is the problem, i have downloaded the TWRP and followed the instructions but the device booted in Chinese language, i have mixed up and stopped the procedure!
Did twrp boot in to Chinese or the ROM? If it's twrp, just type in your screen lock password, then look for settings and select the globe to change to English.
If your ROM is now in Chinese, you flashed the wrong ROM.

my ROM is global, the phone was in Chinese and i have unlocked the bootloader after waiting 336 hours, then flash the Chinese ROM to Global V12.5.5.0, after that i had a message that there is a new update to V12.5.7.0 and here i have stuck!
Yay done with the Mi 11 Pro, only thing I didn't notice was reboot after installation not sure where that is, had to manual restart but updated none the less.
Good afternoon
The XD team (Xyen and Dargonswim) has managed to port the Chinese betas with Android 12 for anyone who wants to test it.
You only need to have the bootloader open.
Installation (FASTBOOT):
- Enter fastboot mode (vol - and power).
- Connect the phone to the pc (have the USB debugging enabled).
- The first time it is recommended to do a clean install. Enter cmd and choose windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.ba t option. (Use the corresponding file for other platforms).
- Then you only need to use the update file.
- Wait 10 minutes for the process to finish. Do not disconnect the mobile at any time.

Great news. Simple and safe method and the original Chinese beta ROM without modifications under Android 12. Congratulations and good work.
I re-flashed the global A11 ROM for the sake of updates.
I can assume that if I flash this one, I won't get any updates. Is that accurate?

expected that actual TWRP is not working correct with A12. But you can install the the magisk.app and patch the boot.img file (extract it from payload with payload-dumper on PC). Once you have patched the file copy it back to the PC and put the mobille into fastboot. Then with command "fastboot boot patched_boot_image.img" you will start with Magisk for your session. If you want to have root permanent after phone is up go directly to the Magisk app and install it "again" directly.

you need to install this new twrp , with that its possible to force flash payload rom.
attached :TWRP_Mi11Ultra_3.5.2_11
and with TOOL ALL IN ONE you can even flash with that buggy twrp opened

Honestly I'll skip this. Global ROM on A11 is almost flawless. I'll wait for official rollout
