60fps on FHD

Hey guys
I have search for 60fps while recording on FHD but I couldn't find anything. Is it possible for z1?
Plus an extra question Sa with 20mp 16:9 can become real?

in normal case you cant shoot 60fps in FHD but if the bootloader is unlocked this app gives you 60fps in FHD ,120fps in HD , and 4K recording:

You do not need an unlocked bootloader for that

hello again greg, just a quick Q about the kernal sorce code will that help with locked bootloaders, or are we realy pi**ing against the wind with this,regards joe, i thaught i would ask you because your more knowledeg than me with codes,

All this means is that Sony are making it easy to see changes to the code in the kernel.

[Q] Sony V - upgrade from 4.3 to 4.4 or wait ?

hi , i have android 4.3 on my Sony V and the only problem is the drain battery fast and i think it`s a problem that never solved by rom
anyway , i see on many site that different versions of 4.4 kitkat comes for Sony V and it`s a good news that i can have last the android version on my phone
but if you upgrade to this do you see any specific option or optimization on this rom ? i mean is there any real benefits to take a time and risk for upgrade ?
something like optimize core or less space or more free ram ??
and there are different versions of 4.4 Rom for Sony V , like AOKP or cyanogenmod and ...

Well...any custom kk rom will perform like 5 times faster than any stock version of rom for our device, but the battery life and camera quality will be worse. You won't have multitasking problems and apps closing in background like on stock roms but you might get reboots or some other problems with most of the roms. I decided to go back to stock 4.1.2 because the battery on our phone sucks so I'd rather get an hour of screen on time more than better performance. So it's up to you to try out and decide what you prefer.

i think i choose speed and performance of android Vs battery and Camera
cause now with a clash of clans and some app like line , whatsup , viber my phone is really slow
but still there is one Question : which Kitkat for Sony V have better performance and less bugs ? anyone test them ?

Most of them are pretty much the same, some just offer more features than others basically. Unofficial LiquidSmooth Rom worked best for me and was most stable but most people prefer Carbon or NeoWave. You just have to read through the topics to see what other people are saying or try them out yourself. I just wish I had done a backup before unlocking bootloader and flashing the first custom rom because now I don't have those DRM keys and my camera quality sucks even though I'm on stock 4.1.2 now. I know that Xperia Z's camera gets f***d up after unlocking bootloader but it seems it affected my Xperia V too. :S

It might be just my imagination xD Maybe the camera is normal but seems bad to me at the moment, I haven't really tried it outdoors yet. I attached some pics here and you tell me if it's normal (like on your phone) or bad.
Btw...does your camera keep focusing even when you're not holding the capture button? Because mine does and I don't remember if it did before

anyway now you mentioned i remember that one time i take a photo with my Huawei G650 dad phone and the quality of this pics is very better than my Sony V 12 Mega Pixel
after that i leave my phone camera and use small Digital camera at all .
i have always different phone of Sony , and the quality of Camera never satisfied me , they just give them more Mega pixel or resolution but the quality of picture never be like a real camera
only thing i love is FUll HD video recording that have a nice quality

And what about that auto focusing all the time? Does it happen on your device too (when you're not holding the shutter button)?

well i have a bad feeling about auto focusing too , yes it happened sometimes and also focus on wrong object or area , at end i decide to use camera of phone only when i don't have my digital camera with myself and i don't use it for a long time

Best custom ROM?

In your opinion what is your favorite custom ROM,doesn't matter if stock or AOSP

i want to know which is the best (for camera).
i'm using slimm at the moment but it has been discontinued

I am currently on AOSP 7.1.1 but the camera isn't good at all and the stupid thing that it stops charging at a higher temperature since our device usually gets very hot

i didn't have any of those problem with slimm 5.1.1. (i have just switched to slimm 6.0.1), doesn't heat up much unless playing high graphic game or 4k video for long.
know nothing about photography so i can only say i'm satisfied with the camera with a-better-camera app or camera fv-5 app.
(think slimm is claimed to have camera software from xperia X)

The next best thing would be Sony Concept Software if you want AOSP look and good camera

this one? it says need to unlock bootloader but Sony had said unlocking bootloader would affect camera performance, i'm not sure if i want to risk it (i'm a software noob)

Me being an idiot I unlocked the bootloader without backing up the TA partition,but I don't really mind it tbh,I can install a DRM fix anytime I go to stock or concept

Moto g5s+ camera

Hi,
Is it possible to use any third party camera app that can produce better depth effect without any shutter lag.... And yah, without rooting, coz its just few days old so dont wanna loose warranty.
Moto camera app is nothing but a **** rit now...

Sorry but dint use professional mode.... Minor shutter lag in normal photo mode and frustrating 4 to 5 sec lag in depth mode... Any third part app and sorry but my cam app is updated.

Have you updated the moto camera app?

Well so far for depth effect to work with diff camera app it needs to contain that of hardware side support for g5s+ too so, I don't think u can find one at time to get apk besides Moto camera which works on depth effect perfectly well even Moto camera sux a bunch cause of software side lags

Yes, yesterday i did.... Camera improved but still not perfect and lagfree...

Yah i got your point and i felt d same thats why before wasting time to search app i thought its better to ask from the EXPERT....
Recent camera 2 update reduce the shutter lag and little improvement in pic quality too..... Hope i will better with new update if they are planing to.

Is there another app thay i can use instead of stock camera or are there particular settings in camera app like auto exposure or contrast or sharpness thati should change plz do tell
No root just wanna improve picture quality of camera here

It's only you, this device's camera is the best at this price tag... Try to flash latest fastboot image again, maybe it solves your problem

"Camera quality is bad" ??
I'd suggest looking at the many various reviews of this device. Almost all of them rave about the camera and have sample pictures (which are outstanding).
What makes you think the quality is bad?

The camera of this phone is the one thing that is far better than the price. Must be something wrong with your unit. The quality is good. Very good.

I'm not satisfied with stock camera also, try this two camera apps.

Do yu use 6gb variant and it not what are all yr camera setting in stock app ( like contrast sharpness and all )
