Hi guys*
I have a note 9 n960f
I've avoided upgrading to android 9 as I use call recording apps which from what I read dont work correctly in android 9. I.e. unable to record both sides of conversations correctly and also unable to grab phone numbers for the calls.*
Would really like to upgrade to android 9 though lol.
Sooo.
If I do. I guess I need to root to get the call recording etc back.*
Then I have the dilemma that I use banking apps. And always use fingerprint login.
Do these still work with root.*
Apps I'm concerned about are metro bank. Wirex. Transferwise. Bsnk of Scotland. SCB bank (Thailand). Izettle. Tesco pay+. Nationwide.
hello
i own atm a xiaomi note 10 pro (also called cc9 pro) , quite like it, amazed by photo quality and also by all these functionalities it offer like second space.
with this phoen i can protect access to certain apps with another password or schema or face recognition, i was wondering if sony had this too, if it was an android 10 functionality or just dev by xiaomi.
thxx for your help
No, it doesn't. Coming from a Huawei phone I miss many things, no protecting apps with a fingerprint, no face unlock, no virus scanner, no compass, No vault, etc. It's pretty much bare Android.
Hello,
I don't know if you know I use the handy application CamSam Plus (warning of "danger zones") in addition to Waze.
CamSam Plus has an interesting feature, a widget that remains visible above other applications (like Waze for example).
Until now, both applications have worked perfectly and cohabited together on my smartphones (Honor, Huawei, Samsung and Oneplus), but this is no longer the case since I bought the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro (and I'm very disappointed).
I tried a lot of tricks in the CamSam application settings, in the rights manager (put all rights) and even in the batterrie (saver, no restrictions).
But nothing works, I still have the problem (it wouldn't be because of this double GPS chip thing, can we disable one on both to test?).
Have any of you ever had this kind of bp and if so, would you know what to do about it?
In advance thank you for your lights.
same problem on Redmi Note 8 with MIUI 11
As title, is "root" possible? Unlock bootloader + magisk? Can someone share the experience? Thanks!
Unless i have a way to download an image and to install it in case things go wrong, there is just no way im "playing" with my phone. Maybe if i had an oppo service center nearby, i would be crazy enough to try...
Hello
I buy a one-plus 10pro, earlier I was iPhone user since 2014, but I need dual sim, call recorder etc.
I buy one-plus 10pro from EU distribution, without call recording, I thinking about root, and install lineage os.
I have several questions:
- If I do only same root, I can setup call recording for my phone?
- I don't see for one-plus 10 pro/t:

It is possible install lineage on this device? Lineage os support call recording?

OPPO 10 Pro doesn't have anything !!
No TWRP !!
No Custom ROMs !!
No Fastboot Official ROM !!!!!!!!
Just sell it
Trade it for the 9 pro then you will have everything btw even 10 pro doesn't have zram well it has but not for the main use it's hidden you need to get it up and without root it's a good mobile but if you want custom roms get the 9 pro
You can use call recording with magisk root, and then a module. I don't know exactly which module, but you can definitely enable it.
Also, I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure I saw an option earlier for built-in call recording. (Update, yes, I have a system setting to enable in-call recording, but it is because I use TrueCaller as my phone app).
test True Phone. There is without root call-recording available
