Hey guys,
I've been experiencing a problem with my bluetooth recently. I am always connected to bluetooth in my car or using my samsung level U, I use it for both media streaming and calls. But about one week ago when ever I am connected to bluetooth either to my car or my samsung level U I can only listen to music, but can't receive or make calls. So I'd be listening to music but if I get a call.. I can't answer through the car i need to pick up my phone. Same thing for my level U.
I've tried everything from simply unpairing and pairing it again. To clearing the bluetooth cache. The problem only seems to go away when I restart my phone. But it will only work once after I disconnect bluetooth the first time the problem appears again.
Ive also tried to simply check the phone audio selection under the bluetooth menu but it wont check it.
FYI i use to have an HTC One M7 before this phone. And it works just fine. I also tested a Samsung Note 3 with both the car and the Level U, it works just fine.
Specs:
Phone: HTC One X9 dual sim ( Android 6.0)
Car: Renault Safrane.
Hi
I have the same problem connecting my phone to my Sony car stereo and Bluetooth headphones, did you find a solution?
Hi everyone! Bluetooth working incorrect because that trouble in Google app and google play services. In support HTC Russia says that "
we know about this problem, Google in further updates will fix this problem. Thank you for understanding."
Hi, how are you?
I have a Moto x 2014 (model xt1097 ), with Android 6.0 (build MPES24.49-18-7, security patch august 2016), and I am experiencing issues with connecting Bluetooth headphones to it.
I have a Jaybird x3 headphones , and I can not get a stable Bluetooth connecting with my device .
1)I have already tried to Clear data of the Bluetooth Share app, and Turn off the Bluetooth scanning option:
https://forums.androidcentral.com/a...oto-g-3rd-generation-16-gb-what-can-i-do.html
2)I also tried to remove Battery optimization for Bluetooth Share app, and Music/Media Player:
https://www.theandroidsoul.com/fix-nougat-bluetooth-issues/
3)I also tried to Reset my Bluetooth headphones;
All the solutions described above, does not fix permanently the issue.
Every time that I connect the Bluetooth headphones, I have to execute solution described in 1) in order to get a better Bluetooth connection.
I tried to connect the same Bluetooth headphones to an IOS 9.3.5 device (ipod touch), and It worked with no issues.
Therefore, It seems that the Bluetooth headphone is not the problem root cause.
I was wondering, Is there a permanent solution for Bluetooth connection issues in Android phone?
I appreciate any help you can give me
Try flash a custom rom may help.
Which custom Rom do you suggest for Moto x 2014?
I was wondering whether Bluetooth Connection issues is a vendor related issue ( Motorola Bluetooth stack implementation or Bluetooth drivers), or Android Platform issue ( there are a lot of users complaining about issues when connecting Bluetooth devices to Android phones in all brands . I had a Nexus one, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and now I have Moto X 2014, and I did experience issues connecting Bluetooth devices in all of them.
Is it possible to replace the Bluetooth stack implementation?

Did you try this https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...de-fix-bluetooth-audio-a2dp-aptx-gsi-t3950938 ?
Yes i did. But what finally helped was clearing the cache of the Bluetooth and bluetooth midi system apps. But i am still having issues with the notifications :s

Which issue?
Good point, i forgot to explain the issue
I eventually received notifications for Whatsapp and Gmail, but the phone would not vibrate or ring. I checked the notification settings for the apps and i checked the settings for ZUI security and the vibration settings but nothing worked. The phone would not vibrate or ring when i received an app or email.
I use Sony WH1000XM3, for bluetooth problem I finally solve it by entering developer option and change the bletooth codec to Qualcomm aptX HD
Bluetooth issue is fix on latest ZUI 11 update to Android 10
Hi,
Since a few weeks I have a very annoying issue with my Note 9. The phone stopped using the microphone of a bluetooth device for all apps. It still uses the mic of BT for phone calls...
I have tested it with the following apps: Zoom , Teams, Skype and Whatsapp (voice). And also for recording video and the Samsung voicerecorder.
All of these apps worked perfect until a few weeks ago.
I have tested to following devices: my Sony MX1000 headphone, an old Jabra earset, a new JBL in-ear set and also my bluetooth carkit in the car.
All of these devices still work perfect with the phone of my wife.
And all of these devices use their microphones making phone calls.
Around the time it stopped working I started to use a Huawei GT2. So I installed their Health app. On the same day I recieved my JBL earphones. Not sure if that has anything to do with this issue.
I have done a factory reset twice. No luck...
The helpdesk of Samsung can't help. They advise to do a reset... Again...
It drives me totally crazy!
Is their anyone that can provide me some help?
Kind regards,
Peter
PS. I heard that Android 11 has a microphone switcher... Unfortunately the Note9 will never receive this version of Android.
same issue with my mi 10t pro,i think there is also some issue with your phone's mic
Hello,
current Version of LineageOS is lineage-20.0-20230620-nightly-payton-signed.zip.
Do not get sound from FM radio.
Wired headphones are connected.
What else can I do.
A few weeks ago the app was working.
Regards
Hello Camenzind,
I can confirm this bug. Since lineage-20.0-20230606-nightly-payton-signed.zip FM-radio app seems to be broken and has no sound output (neither headphones nor speaker) Nevertheless you can record the radio broadcast and listen the radio broadcast afterwards in an audio player (not a real workaround).
You could downgrade to lineage-20.0-20230530-nightly-payton-signed.zip via Recovery. But you must hurry, because this file will disappear on 27.06.2023 when the next build will appear.
Will this be fixed in a future update?
So i would wait for this.
