Question s21 ultra network issue - Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

since update my s21 ultra have lost its data network at some points went to samsung they said noting wrong with but keeeps on dropping data at some points and even the whole network also i have checked nothing wrong with my sim and i have aslo tried sim card of another provider please help.../

What network are you writing about, GSM or Wi-Fi?

Depends, My mom has this same problem with the same phone. Try turning off Power Saving, it worked for me.

Data connection isn't starting

Hi. I just bought a new galaxy s from vodafone, but when i tried to use a 3g data connection it just won't work. it works fine with wi-fi connection but if i turn that off (or if i don't use it at all) the phone just won't connect to the internet. i've double checked the apn settings...is there an option to turn the data connection on and i'm just not seeing it? please help...
sometimes it helps to restart the phone
or switch it to airplane mode then back

i've read other posts for other type of connection problems and i did what u said...nothing...it just doesn't even try to connect...
do you have any other SIM card from friends/family that you can try?
just wondering if it's related to your SIM account, or if it's defective phone
if it is working over wifi there is still something wrong with apn settings or your sim card.. i doubt it is the phone itself.. or you are in an area with no 3g edge.. or wrong phone ie t mobile vibrant on bell or att network

I would like to thank all of u who tried to help me... when i was at work today i've changed the sim card with another one with internet on it and it worked so i called vodafone and stuck to my oppinion that it was their fault and finnaly i came across a guy who saw that my account settings were not correct. now it is working. thanks..

hey i need a help
i am using moto g2 but there seem to be no data connection when using bsnl sim .
i have tried hard reset, manual apn and many complain to the bsnl customer and when i use that sim in some other phone data connection is aviliable but in my moto g2 no data .
i need help facing this problem since purchase of my phone .

if you tested the sim in other device and tested other sim (from other carrier) on yours phone and both work, you must be block by the carrier.
If tested other sim on yours phone from the same carrier and it works, you have a sim related problem...
carrier can block a particular IMEI.
keep complain... try to see if the carrier have a online way to see if the IMEI is valid, like this
In many country they block stolen phones IMEI, if that is not yours case that may have happened to you by mistake.
i know what i have written is very basic but you may not know about that, or tested in that way. :good:

Samsung note 9 N9600 VZW network issue

Hi guys,
My toy is a samsung note N 9600 and its factory unlocked. Last week ported out from T-mobile to keep my original number and facing a wried issue.
The day I ported out from T-mobile, VZW network couldnt be recognized when I tried to activate the VZW sim card. "No network connection." and no call or text can be made. However, after I RESET my device to factory model, it SUCCESSFULLY recognized VZW and LTE function works well. Sounds wried? The story doesnt end here.
Yesterday after I turned off the VZW sim card by accident-- n9600 is a dual sim card which allows you to turn either sim card off-- the network connection lost again, im not talking about LTE connection, but all network service including internet, phone call and text function. Tried a lot to get the connection back but failed. Guess what? RESET, THEN VZW comes back!!! Being driven by curiosity, I turned off the sim card agian, and then, as my expect, no network connection. Ok, rest---works---turning off sim card---no connection---reset……
I am really annoyed by this and have no idea why it is. So if anyone of you have clue of it, plz let me know. Thank you in advance!

MI 9/ network problems

I have Mi 9 M1902F1G 128gb with MIUI global 11.0.4. I am living in France and using Bouyuges telecom, recently when I come to work my phone loses network connection related to simcard. No calls, no 4G, no 3G nothing absolutely. There is a cross sign sometimes on network bar, then sim card activation process starts but no connection. Even I cannot send an sms. This is a new problem. I have been using this phone with same sim card for approximately for a year.

Change job
Since you don't tell us what actions you already have taken the most obvious is to pull out the sim card and clean it. If this doesn't help, contact your operator to get a new sim card. Everything you say indicates that your problem is one with the sim card or the operator and has nothing to do with the phone.

Have you tried with VoLTE disabled?
Also, by preferring network type 3G or even 2G, instead of 4G.
Maybe you recently got some some 4G/3G micro-station at work with the band not supported by phone
Edit: You could also try to inspect by Network Cell Info Lite, Net Monster, Net Monitor or similar apps available from Playstore

Question Mobile data issue on regular Galaxy S23

Hi guys, i have a problem with my Galaxy S23.
I am connected to wifi at home and mobile data on. But, when i turn off the wifi, the mobile data does not activate. I've checked the APN settings, i call the provider, i reset the network settings ... same issue.
Mobile data is activating only if i call to a short number like *100#. If i don't dial, even the mobile data toggle is on there is no connection.
Can you please help me !
Have you tried a factory reset?
This is the only thing i don't want to do, because i'm going to lose my eSim's.

Fairly certain this shouldn't matter. I think they stay when you reset the phone. You might want to research this more.
Ok, so i did a factory reset. Nothing changed. However, i found an option in developer mode "mobile data always active". This is keeping the data on even if wifi is connected. It is running ok now, but, the battery consumption is a bit higher.

I'm from Brazil and I'm having the same issue on my S23 ultra.
I use 1 eSIM from Vivo and a SIM from TIM.
When I'm using the mobile data, sometimes it doesn't work even the 4G or 5G are on.
I tried switch between carrier (Tim and Vivo) and both show 4G sign and doesn't work.
There are two ways to restore the mobile data, restart the phone or turn off and turn on the airplane mode. But after some minutes the problem continues.
I went to a Samsung Store and they put a new and clean OS, but after 1 day the problem started again.
I searched about it and I couldn't find a fix to this problem.
I will try to use only SIM and not use eSIM. I read some articles that the T-Mobile was having same issues.
I think it is a chronic problem. Maybe they need a recall or a new update to fix this issue.
Does any know how to fix this problem?
I have 2 SIMs because there are some places that I work that only 1 carrier works.
Problem solved.
I went to the provider and replaced the sim card with a new one. Now it's working without any issues.
