As per Title (Personally) i like ColorOS as it is more Oneplus Thing then OxygenOS where Google is 80% of the Firmware...
1. Please Tell me (Your Opinion) Should i convert from OOS to COS.?
2. What is the Safest method to convert without bricking device.
My Device model is Base 2210 but after Updating it shows 2215 Global, i'm confused about this thing..

You need the roll back payload.zip 2349_sign_NE2210_11_A_OTA_0150_all_6473a3_10010111
This will take you back to colors OS.

This isn't for me, but I get asked this a lot...
Has anybody successfully managed to change their device from Chinese to any other region, specifically anything not running the Chinese firmware.
If you could just outline, what did you do please?
It's been here all the time.

The above method can be used to switch the system from ME2210 to ME2211 or ME2213. But there are 2 points to pay attention to. Do not swipe the IN and EU versions directly from Color OS based on Android 13, the logo will be stuck on boot; switch from Color OS 12.1 CN ME2210 to NA ME2215 version OOS 12.1, my phone has the same situation twice. the fingerprint can't work, and finally recovered by after-sale fingerprint calibration.
Do not switch Slots on V-AB-based models. Once you switch to another Slot, the phone will be stuck on the boot screen. That is to say, using FastbootEnhance can only flash os in the current Slot. There is also a NA ME2215 version than EU ME2213. There are two more logical partitions, but the partitions of NA ME2215 and CN ME2210 are the same.
While the fingerprint didn't work, there was no problem with other functions of the phone, including other sensors. If you do not use fingerprints, it will not affect any of your use.
This is the summary and some experience I have encountered when switching roms in different regions

Amazing .. so, from my understanding,I will install the oneplus 10 pro EU version, then roll back to android 12 OnePlus pro IN version.. or go IN all the way? (My version is NE2213_11_A15 currently).
Again. Thank you!
Just download the apk, and the rollback version you want 2211 in and 2215 American open the app and just flash it. It will wipe your phone

Have your bootloader unlocked
Ok.
Hi everyone,
I got my phone from a website. It said it was a Oneplus 10 Pro 2215 with OxygenOS. After receiving the device I noticed it was a 2210 model that was flashed with 2215 firmware. I didn't have an issue with this but I have been noticing the that OxygenOS experience has been meh in my opinion and its basically a fork of the ColorOS honestly, I think the ColorOS is better than OxygenOS since OOS is basically the same thing with some of the features stripped out. (just a lot of other Chinese apps included which can be deleted anyways)
Anyways my question is.
What is the process to get my phone back on ColorOS? I think I would prefer this over the current OOS, I flash COS 12.1 on my Oneplus 7 Pro and I think it's better.
Yes color os is very good

Thank you @beeeb123456
Hello,
I've read a bit and it seems possible to move from ColorOS to OxygenOS by flashing. What are the pro and cons with that ?
I recently bought a One Plus 10 Pro out of black friday deal. And I did a bit of a mess and bought an CN version.
Can I managed to be "fully stock" on a EU version coming from this CN hardware ? Having Android Pay working, safety net etc... ? and OTA updates normally ?
Or is it just simply impossible and i should cancel my order and get an EU version ASAP ?
Thanks
You can flash to oxygen os and everything work fine.
hello I'm planning on getting S10 5G with the global version (SM-G977B)
I want to get back to Android 10 using odin normally, but I'm not sure. Would that be safe or I will trigger some arb stuff??

It depends what binary the phone comes with. You can check what binary it has by doing this: link. If you haven't bought it yet but want to know if Android 10 is supported by it you would have to ask the seller what binary version it has. It looks like Android 10 on that model is supported up to binary version 6, so as long as the firmware it comes with is binary 6 or lower you should be good. See here for available Android 10 firmware for that device: link. Let me know if you have any questions.
So for example in that S20 Ultra 5G
G988BXXSGHWD4
It's not safe to go back to Android 10 (Binary C) because right now it has Android 13 (Binary G), but at the other cases if they are the same, it would be just fine to go back
Did I get that right?
btw I recently downgraded my SM-G981U1 from G981U1UEU4HWD1 to G981U1UES3FVK1 and it was just fine. I'm sorry but can you explain that for me because I'm pretty confused here.
Thank you for your help :")

Yes, it should be impossible: link, link, link (look at quote in first answer).

I really don't know, it should be impossible.
^Agree^
On a stock Samsung with a locked bootloader it should impossible to do that if the version is less than the current one. It's a built in safeguard to protect the kernel from being hacked as I understand it. Locked bootloaders use digital signatures to verify the Android code it's loading.
With Snapdragon N10+'s people have rolled back from 12 to 11 but not 10 or 9. Rollback from 10 to 9 isn't possible from everything I've seen. Not sure about 13. Maybe there's some wiggle room on some versions not indicated by it's binary?
With an unlocked bootloader this doesn't apply.
Meh, I simply leave the firmware be on Androids as this works well for my applications. As such Androids are exceptionally stable and loads are long lived.
