Performance Monitor - Android Auto General

Hello, how to run the Perfomance Monitor. After installing it on the phone, it turns on only once on Android Auto, then an error pops up and the application no longer works. I know that its creator doesn't support it anymore and it was made mainly for VW but it also works with other cars.
Is anyone able to help?
Thank you and greetings to everyone.

[Q] Bluetooth Car Audio Issues

Hello fellow HTC One members/XDA enthusiasts!
I have owned many phones in the past few years and never had any issues pairing with bluetooth devices until now.
I have a Pioneer X910 in dash head unit in my car and briefly had the audio working (no on screen information) but then it stopped and when I hit play it started playing out of the phones speakers.
It does say that the phone is connected and on the phone itself it sees Pioneer Navi and also in the settings it shows audio enabled.
Now for the life of me I cannot get any music playing over BT in my car. I have yet to try phone calls with it.
BTW I have my phone rooted with OrDroid on it.
Has anyone had this problem or know the solution? I can play music on my BT speaker in my house but not on my Pioneer X910
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
No one is having this issue?
I may have to return this phone if this feature doesn't work...
Also my work email is not being "Pushed" through EAS....really frustrated with such a beautiful phone...
Which ordroid version are you working on?
HTC tweaked some bluetooth things during 1.29.401.5, and every Update some problems disappear...

I'm on OrDroid 3.0.0
I un-paired the device today and re-paired, started to work for a few seconds, shut the screen off, it stopped working and now won't play through the speakers anymore.
BTW I'm using N7 music player

I had a similar issue pairing my old EVO 4G with my Ford Sync system via blue tooth. Don't know if this is related but the issue I had was when Sync tried to download my contacts/address book it would choke. Turned out Sync couldn't handle merged contacts. If your Pioneer is trying to download your contacts try disabling it.
still not working. i am now using trickdroid 5.1.0 and it does the same thing.
very frustrating
anyone else having these issues?

Works fine with my Pioneer AVH 2400BT, even displays the Track Info on the head unit. I did notice the audio breaking up when using Tom Tom and listening to music at the same time.

Revolution HD ROM might be worth a try, maybe it has a more up to date version of Blue Tooth. Is your Pioneer on the latest firmware? If not it might be worth updating it too.

Blu R1 HD Bluetooth Issues

I'm new to xda. I installed TWRP and removed OTA updates and Amazon ads on my phone. I'm on kernel version 3.18.19+.
I am trying to connect the phone to my Chevy Volt and play music via bluetooth. This worked fine with my iPhone.
The phone connects to the car, but I don't hear any music. In addition, when I connect it via USB, music still doesn't play through the stereo. Any ideas?

I had Bluetooth issue like you decribe once with this phone. I rebooted and problem didnot come back. As far as through USB I don't think that works with any Android. I could be wrong in that though

Lol, sorry, I just had to chuckle blame it on the chevy. :silly: I know they did some Bluetooth fixes in M 6.0.1, just kinda hard to narrow it down. I have audio issues transmitting to my Bluetooth receiver on my home surround, but that thing is like 5 years old.... I'm still looking for a solution though, I'll chime in if I find anything that works for me. My issues are stuttering and random loss of connection
Just wanted everyone to know that I solved the problem. There was a firmware update for the Chevy Volt to enable Android Auto. Once the dealer applied the update, bluetooth streaming is working. Awesome!
BTW -- Android Auto works really well!

Android Auto will not work on your headunit.
However, you CAN use Android Auto the way it is supposed to work: install it on your phone and connect the phone to the unit using Easy Connect.
Thanks

Android Auto is not meant to be run on the head unit. ANY head unit. It always runs on the phone.
You can download it from here:

Make sure you get the right version for your processor
Looking for a good handsfree solution

Thanks for your answer.
But this is not easy to connect with.
When I get in the car, I activate first my phone Bluetooth and Hotspot and the Unit headset. Then every time he is asking for a USB connection? This setup takes long!
After he is making connection I have an Mirror and I can take out the USB and it's working. When I leave the car and i come back I have to do the setup again? This is not handy for short driving.
Other quistion; With mirroring only headup is possible and no landscape, so everything is smaller then on the phone and when you drive this is also not save to use.
Some body who can help me further?

Bluetooth is not working properly!

I connected my Huawei bluetooth headphone with my P20 pro and than tried to listen music but it interupts every 5 secs! I use the same headphone with my laptop and other mobile and it works perfectly! What could be the problem of the P20 pro? Not transmiting bluetooth signal properly to the headphone or what?

I use and have tested my P20 Pro with tons of Bluetooth devices, headphones, speakers,my car and all work fine. I’m using AirPods as I reply to this , no issues. Check out my audio review of the P20 Pro on my website or YouTube channel.
Tried with my pioneer 80prs, with p88rs2, some ford sync 3 models, 2 wireless speaker (anker soundcore 2 and JBL), also with 2 echoes from amazon.
All work fine, no problems with bluetooth connection or disconnects.

Not sure if it's related but I had a problem with several Bluetooth devices (Car, Garmin Watch) suffering connection issues and it was down to a battery saving setting.
Settings > Battery > App Launch - Find the apps you need to connect to your Bluetooth device and set them to manual and make sure they are set to run in the background.

Android auto crash head unit when try to listen music and bluetooth connection issue

I have been using android auto on my car head unit for some time and I realise there are two issues that makes me mad,
- I can not open any music apps (I tried poweramp, yt music and spotfy) Apps open fine but when I try to listen music system freeze or hangs and head unit must restarted to be usable again. Does anyone experience it ?
- When using android auto I checked bluetooth connection and I saw connection drops and then connects again, ofcourse bluetooth connection not neccesary as most data is transmitted through cable or wireless, bluetooth only relevant for calls. But it seems strange and I started to think there is an connection issue as first activation of android auto takes time sometimes failed.
Best Regards.
I'm facing same issues since my dasaita px6 head unit installed. Not happy , always mad
Thinking to purchase new HU, Not sure what brand to buy!!
