Hi,
Samsung S20FE screen turns on when Aandroid auto connects
Does anyone know where I can turn this off?
When AA connects the phone screen turns on (dimmed and unresponsive) and stays on untill double tap of press on the on-button.
Any advice please.... it's annoying

LockEnabler equivalent for SGS

Hello fellows,
I recently bought a rubberized hard cover case cover for my SGS. It turns out that the cover is so rigid that makes it very difficult to press the Power botton. I then started looking on the Market for an application that allowed me to lock the screen using another button (or the touchscreen) rather than the Power button.
Here's what I found: LockEnabler, http://www.appbrain.com/app/lockenabler/app.lockenabler
However, in some situations, the screen timeout settings are reset, and I suspect it is due to LockEnabler. So here's the question: does anyone know of a similar application that works on the Galaxy S without issues?
Regards,
Paulo

Dont you mean the hardkeys?!?!
"Softkey" implies software keys, And im sure you are referring to the hardware buttons? Hence "hardkey".
I too would like a way to keep them lit though, Sometimes I end up missing correct key in dark

Sorry. Yes I guess I did mean the "hard keys" - anyway its the search, return, home and menu keys.
As you are a senior member and have not yet found the answer then I guess there is not much chance of me getting it solved then eh?

tbh I've not actually got round to looking.
Anyone else then please to help with this problem?
Having the capacitative keys stay on would really help at night.
Having them stay off for reading would be even better. So irratating I put tape over them some nights.
Sent from my SCH-I800 using XDA App
Not an answer, but a data point showing this is possible...
The capacitive keys stay lit all the time (all being whenever the screen is on) on my VZW SGT. On my wifi only SGT, the capacitive keys shut off after a few seconds (have not timed it) and light back up if you touch the screen or one of the capacitive keys. I don't know if this is software and/or hardware related.
Pretty sure this is in the services.jar (ROM framework).

screen view

Guys, I am new to Samsung phones and I need an answer to a question regarding smart view. When mirroring content from my S10 to my TV, after a few seconds the display on my S10 turns dark and then I get something like an AOD appear on the screen till I press the power key. Is there a way of disabling it, as it just stays in the same position on my S10 display??
Anyone have any ideas?

Galaxy m31 fingerprint isn't working after a period of inactivity.

Why my galaxy m31 fingerprint unlock wont work after a period of inactivity?? It only works when i wake up the screen by pressing lock key or by double tapping the screen, after waking up the screen the fingerprint unlock works flawlessly! It's my new phone and my 1st samsung phone, having a BAD BAD experience for this issue. I've never faced such issue with any other phones even on much low end phones that i used in my life.
I'm tired of surfing the web for the solution and hopping on forum to forum but of no use, can anybody help me out here?? I'm hopeless. Please help me out!

Maybe, if you have the fingerprint sensor activated for screen unlok, it Will always awake you phone. Try it with fingerprint turned off, just to make sure if this is a valid solution.
Best regards.

Thanks for replying but it doesn't work I tried....
It is a proximity sensor issue and Xiaomi is aware of it. Unfortunately, no solution yet.
