Question MIUI/Leica cam list? - Redmi Note 10 Pro

Is there a list of custom AOSP ROMs that have the MIUI/Leica cam preinstalled? Would love to see it

Already very few OSP roms have managed to carry the Xiaomi camera and still with missing options so Miui camera Leica seems difficult..

You seem to have tried out a lot of Roms. What rom are you using yourself? I want to flash a rom that is stable with very few bugs. I've got a little baby boy now and I don't have the time I used to have for testing different roms. I'm willing to use Android 11, 12, or 13. No gaming. Just need stability. What would you recommend?

In that case I strongly advice you to stay stock.
Every rom have his plus and minus, but for everyone this will be another experience. This could be by the different hardware or the different personal taste. So always you need some experimenting.
With flashing you always have a risk that something goes wrong and it could be very time consuming to resolve that.

Honestly you can just flash LOS and a recent kernel and call it a day, I haven't had a single issue with LOS 19.1

i flash for hobby, i tried very many roms
now im on in last unofficial lineage + kewl kernel (with fast charge)
is not a special rom because missing some customization.. for example missing day of week near date in status bar... or missing luminostity bar always visibile.. or close all botton recents in bottom position.. and it has bug night camera tint (but i found a fix, you must select "leica autentic" and it works)
but not other bugs, all work and battery seems decent (as usually 7-8h sot)
deep sleep for now works

Most stable custom rom

I'm flashing rom for the first time I have unlocked the bootloader my device is rooted.
I have been reading posts
RR seems the most stable with oos cam included and it doesn't have pocket mode which can lead to faster battery drain.
So can you guys suggest me any rom which is as stable as oos and good camera quality (not working of camera, quality of the picture processed)
May this thread helps others too :fingers-crossed:
Thanks
Nothing has camera as good as stock, so if camera is important to you, stick with stock based ROMs (official OOS, FreedomOS, OP3Lite ...)
That port that is available for RR still has some issues.
Maybe try Paranoid Android, it may have some magic that other ROMs don't due to developers involved. It's supposed to have camera on pair with OOS, but I haven't tried it yet so I can't confirm (and for some reason people don't really talk much about PA). It has all other features of OOS.
But I'd suggest sticking with OOS based ROMs until OnePlus releases camera sources.
Sent from my OnePlus 3 using Tapatalk
If the camera is a non issue than Slim Roms is the best. Fast not cluttered with useless features. But honestly OnePlus has it down with 3.2.7. had my doubts but the have created a ROM that is up there with P.A and Slim.
For me nucleaRom is the best and bug free ROM and you will have the OOS camera

I think the developer has stopped the development for this rom
Resurrection Remix Black Jubel is very stable in my opinion......and it has tons of customization and Accepts the OOS Camera Port so you can get identical Camera quality to stock.

I'm using FreedomOS with blu_spark kernel at the moment, but I'll probably try Paranoid over coming weekend.
To be honest, OOS is actually a pretty good ROM. With Xposed framework it has everything I need.

Hmm...yes 3.2.7 is nice but you can't really compare it to custom ROMs. It's great for its intended purpose (stability and compatibility) but it doesn't have the customization that custom ROMs have...obviously. It depends on what is most important to you.
I'm using OOS 3.2.6 with latest blu spark kernel and I'm getting really good screen on times, like 10-15℅ drain per hour. I also have Xposed installed but I'm only using greenify with it. Imho OOS is just as good as any other ROM, and I have just about tried every other ROM and kernel combination with the exception of the new nougat releases. There are only a few extra options available in the custom ROMs in comparison to OOS and they are mostly cosmetic. I reckon wait till some stable nougat builds have been released and then we might see some improvements. There is also no need to even install freedomOS or OSlite because you can debloat the ROM yourself and learn something while you are at it. Just go to the OSlite page and check the debloat list and then remove the stuff yourself with Titanium Backup. For me it's more fun when I have tweaked the ROM myself, and I guess for others also otherwise we wouldn't even have so many custom ROMs. I have researched the living bejesus out of this phone and I am happy to share my accumulated knowledge with anyone that needs help.

I haven't tried the rom but I have seen a tutorial on YouTube
I suggest you try h2os v2.0 5th edition. It has the best battery life, even better than pa rom. I still have 93% of battery after browsing the web using wifi for more than 1 hour. It is very smooth as well during gaming, no lags at all.

Hi, I really like your build.
There are a number of problems that are depressing.
1) is not completely localized (Russian)
2) Night mode works terribly, with automatic settings it always lights up
3) very hard battery
4) stabilization sometimes sublimates
5) correct at least you this fingerprint, it is not upstairs (as in the picture) and from the bottom
6) add at least in the recommendation what camera to use
7) the sound is terrible, and the drivers do not help, I do not know what is connected with
8) also would not mind against the additional settings
9) periodically, when I add or decrease the volume it reduces or adds the wrong sounds
10) there is no setup launcher, I would like to remove google search from the desktop

Yes.
I'll post a project roadmap and a kind of "support policy" in a couple of days to set expectations. Basically, all comes to "if you made any modifications - it's your decision and you can't expect any help". It's pretty... spartan-stylish, but after all we're focused on walking the walk, not talking the talk.
@karevn Thanx for your work on this Xiaomi forsaken phone, as well as all the other devs! I'm using the rom since about a week, very stable so far.The only problem i have with latest build is some "click" sounds when i'm talking on whatsapp on wifi, didn't test it with data or any other app till now.If anyone else having this problem i'll try getting a logcat, else i'll try a clean install first.
A small request, since it's unofficial, can we have a network monitor on the status bar? It's very useful in general.
And a question, is 2.2 ghz the maximum we can squeeze from this cpu?Can we reach 2.4-2.5 even at the cost of increased power consumption?I'll be happy to help in this direction since i have some experience.

The main goal of this project is to provide a stable usable rom with smooth performance. So, I'll never integrate any bells, whistles or serious overclocking/undervolting. Snapdragon 625 is good as it is - fast and power-efficient with careful configuration.
On the WhatsApp thing - check if the is WhatsApp-specific or system-wide. If it's system-wide - post an issue at my github tracker.
Using your Rom for months now,
No major issues,
Happy you are here. :good::good:

Flash audio fix kernel. Thanks goes to @karevn
Karevn (and Razziell, and Anomalchik and others) THANKS ALOT for all your efforts!
I'm using your ROM since November if i remember correctly, and it is fantastic!
I'm even reading 4pda thread (translated by google) just to check your messages, updates and whatsoever!
This rom is fantastic, but i have to tune a bit because on MY Redmi (not on others, since i did not read anyting related in xda nor 4pda) i have spontaneous reboot.
I'm mitigating them using "interactive" CPU so i get about 1 reboot a day "only" (i even tryed to use only 3g or 4g). With impulse i have many reboots
With Voodoo Kernel i have no reboots. It seems some tweaks you did, don't work very well with just my own device
However with one of your rom/kernel it was all perfect (it was the one you gave us just without hotplug, about 2 months ago).
I know you are asking for logs, but it is just my device who has such problems, so i will not ask you to check just for me
Keep up the GREAT work and thanks alot!

Any of you need any translations or proofreading, just in case? I'm a frequent visitor on xda and an occasional visitor of 4pda and fluent in both languages. Would be glad to help.
Using this ROM right now, extremely stable, battery life is probably the best I've seen on markw - 12 hours later I still have over 50% and that's with a lot of usage including videos and music, OTAs actually work (are they pulled from the google drive? I'm just curious how someone managed to make it work on an UNofficial ROM, it's amazing) albeit only on the next day after the installation, only had one app crash a few times and I probably know the cause. Very smooth, LED works fine, no longer randomly reboots on low 2G signal or at all. No bloat or random apps I just don't use that other ROM devs force in there (some launcher - I either use the google one or Trebuchet, Substratum - I don't even use it at all, I much prefer the stock look, Xposed - If I really want/need it I'll rather install it myself). Generally very pleased to actually get rid of MIUI AND also have a fully functioning device running a ROM that doesn't need 10 fixes and a kernel flashed afterwards.
Thanks a lot for the efforts.
Big thanks for this Rom is the best what i have use! But i have onley one Problem. The LED dont works for any App. But wen i Charge my Phone IT works. I have Do a clean wipe install. Is there anywhat wat i can Do?

Thanks a lot for the efforts.

This ROM is basically the base of all Nougat ROMs for Redmi 4 Prime...so if you're looking for the most stable for daily use, this is IT

Question What is the most stable ROM for this phone right now?

Please recommend me a ROM to daily.
In previous phones I've enjoyed Pixel Experience, PixelPlus and am a big fan of LineageOS.
Of course, I'd prefer to keep fast-charging functionality and be on the latest android.
Thanks!
Hello.
You can try ArrowOS 12.1(Android 12).
This rom is very smooth and stable, fast charge works on it.

This has nothing to do with the stability of a custom rom, but with the hardware of your smartphone.
With every batch Xiaomi change hardware. Not every custom rom can or will follow these changes.

Los A13 is very stable and perfekt battery with newest sleepy kernel. Clean flash is mandatory.

They are all in gcam, los and kernel threads in this forum.
Bumping this thread to ask the same question in light of new circumstances (my apologies):
I've been looking through all these threads lately to find a custom ROM for my usage before unlocking the bootloader, but recently I noticed that almost every Android 12 ROM is discontinued so the devs can work on A13 or for other reasons, so now I can't find any threads that have that in context.
In other words my question is, what is a stable enough ROM now that most are discontinued? Taking into context the spoofing no longer works in the latest ArrowOS 12.1 build which causes extreme battery drain by the Google Play Services.
If it helps, the uses/needs I basically seek are mainly Camera/Audio/Battery. I dont care for gaming one bit in my personal case.
Thank you and sorry for repeating the same question. I just want to drop MIUI and can't find an answer.

If you are okay with MIUI, Hassan mirza ROMs are amazing. He has A12/12.5/13.

Question Favourite ROM so far ?

On Telegram there are a lot of ROMs and there are a few here. I mostly had some Google Pay issues with most of the AOSP/Pixel based ones. Just sometimes it wouldn't get registered by the POS. Whereas on miui and xiaomi.eu, there's no issue.
So far I'm sticking to xiaomi.eu but I'd totally switch if there was a better alternative. it's not the project, just that I don't really like the way MIUI looks.
I'm in the same boat as you, I'm now on xiaomi.eu but my main complaint is that the system is laggy/stuttery. I'm thinking if switching to the elite rom. But I'm not sure if that is any better.
I don't know much about gsi's and to my understanding, because it's a global rom made for multiple phones. Some features don't work, like fastcharging or there is no camera optimalisation. If I'm wrong about this, I'm all ears.
I tried my fair share of custom ROMs. For some strange reason, I always keep coming back to MIUI. Sure it is not a perfect ROM, packing bugs, bloatware and some other useless/unwanted cr4p, but to me, it does all I need.

I've just switched to Lineage and I got to say that this feels really nice. You should definitely give this a try if you like stock android. Only complaint I have so far is that my fingerprint sensor isn't working but it's worth it for me.

I won't trust tg only roms.
I'm 'trusting' (never trust fully) Xiaomi.eu rom which is amazing. Stick with it
Friends, do you know if Miuimix is unattended or something is expected of it?
EliteRom MIUI 14
EliteRomLite 14.0.8 (MIUI based) is my favorite at the moment. But I tried a few other very good custom roms: AlphaDroid, Derpfest, PixelOS, PE+, VoidUI, BlissROM,... There are many good roms that are not on xda.

Where are you getting these ROMs? Telegram? I don't see any invites/links here.
If they are so good, why aren't they on XDA?
I'm looking for some decent stock Android ROMs like Evolution X, Resurrection Remix, crDroid etc.
Any custom kernels would be appreciated too
