I've bought an mi 11 lite 5g and after one month I upgraded to 13.06 i guess after that it sounded that device is stolen or maybe lost
Now i would know how could i use it aging normally ?
I cannot make any sense of this. use punctuation.
your phone is stolen or lost? why don't you know? there is a difference between stolen or lost phone. you updated what? why is that important?
you can locate phone only as long it has battery.

Hello Everybody,
I will have a Z2 soon and I was thinking maybe possible to change the NVRAM values and unlock some LTE bands.
Is there anybody who has experimented with this one?
Is there any hardware (RF?) limitation?
I have seen some threads in the past where the users made experiments with Qualcomm based phones to turn on some LTE bands and for some of them they were be able to do it, so who knows, maybe we can also turn it on.
I tried that with my Xiaomi Mi 5 for a few weeks. And although I had electrical engineering in college I was unable to get it working. Also visited the Xiaomi forum a lot but in the end someone told me that it has been disabled by Qualcomm, the SD820 that Xiaomi gets from Qualcomm has it somehow disabled. Not sure if it is true or not but I never got it working. Sold the Mi 5 at some point and bought a ZUK Z2 Pro.
So, don't be surprised if it doesn't work but still good luck to you and your effort.
You can try it and melt the modem or get cancer. It isn't worth doing so just get the Pro.

It's not so important for me, so I will stay with the Z2, it was just an idea. Who knows, maybe possible.
Hello! I am thinking about getting a Mi 9 after a Huawei Mate 10 Pro hardbrick.. How good is the development support from Xiaomi? Are they more open and kind to developers than Huawei? How big are the risk of bricking a Xiaomi phone, and how are the chances of recovering from the bricked state if it would happen?
Thanks
I wondering the same thing as well. Im from the United States and this would be my first Xaomi Phone.
Currently using a Oneplus 5t and its still running great.
The development is going steady for a phone that has recently launched, and that didn't have a simultaneous worldwide release.
There are one-click tools to unbrick this phone already, and AFAIK haven't seen anyone bricking a phone beyond a point it couldn't have been recovered. So, fiddling with it is safe.
hello everyone!
so its new phone time again and I've been eyeing the MI 9 for a hot minute; and since its not on amazon im looking to order it off ali.
now my questions are: on the xiaomi website it only specifies an 128+8 version of the lavender, no mention of 256+8; am i getting ripped off?
and also it seems to be the Chinese version with a global ROM, will that be an issue and i should keep looking for a global version or installing xiaomi.eu would make the issues go away(i.e NFC working?)
TIA!
I'm not sure about mi 9, but I saw mi 9 5G with 8gb 256gb.
And yes, with EU rom most things works normally (at least NFC works).

is the back cover piece the same on the 9 and 9 5g? the main reason i wanna go with the one from ali is the color; since the 5g version doesnt come in the glorious lavender i was thinking maybe replacing it with it would be a viable option?
edit: NVM scratch that the frame will still be white D:

see the battery capacity of the deal you are seeing, if they mention 3300mah, then its a Mi9, but if they show 8GB/128GB is probably a fake, since the only version with 8GB RAM is Mi 9 Transparent Edition, and they came only with 256GB of storage, not 128.
If the product page show 4000 mah of battery, then is a Mi 9 Pro...and the variants there change, see in gsmarena the specs list and see the difference between the deal you are looking and the real specs of the phone.

I have mi 9, 3300mah, 8gb/128gb, it's not fake [emoji18]. Just available in china version, not global version, but you can change rom easily.

Hey guys,
I was looking for a new phone in the last weeks, and I found the Mi 11 Ultra.
My budget's 700 ~ 800 dollars
But I was looking in the Aliexpress, some announcements and I only found the Global ROM. After a search, I discover that this version can not work with some bank apps or the NFC.
This is true? Do you guys have some seller that sells a MI 11 Ultra without the bootloader unlocked? I need a phone with the Google and bank apps working.
Do you guys recommend other phones that are in the budget that I mentioned?
Thanks!

Chinese devices are not so interesting today
For the apps to work, you will need to root the phone and use Magisk hide or install a Xiaomi Eu rom.
https://xiaomi.eu/community/
Xiaomi 12 pro
Or buy a second hand worldwide version, that's what I have. Non rooted, global rom, banking apps fine, widevine and safetynet pass so google pay/wallet etc works too. NOWTV app doesn't work though :/
That's because of the the second screen. The app thinks it is casting or something. I tried to get sky to put it on the exception but they wouldn't. I bet the new galaxy fold with second screen will have same problem.
As a global version user (not global rom). It worth every single dollar I paid for it. No regret not even slightly
The China rom one can easily use nfc and other apps... I own one so I should know
Hi all,
I'm planning on buying this one after my galaxy S20+ is exhausting (now low display intensity, low battery, Knox, etc).
However, I read here on another thread, that the Mi 11 is not as good as I expected, which is why I want to ask:
do you still recommend the Mi 11 or do you have another recommendation with good camera, flash- and rootable (without something like knox), 6.2-6.8 inches, etc for a similar price?
Thanks in advance
I was a Samsung user up until the Note 4, then I went to Huawei, and now Xiaomi. I love my Mi11 and will eventually upgrade in the Xiaomi family.
My stock camera, IMO, was comparable to a relative's Pixel 6, I haven't played too much with GCam or other options.
The Mi11 is rootable, and I recommend going with the xiaomi.eu images.
It's a good phone, but u need to unlock boot loader and do some stuff for be able to use it like it should be, otherwise won't be a good experience.
Hi senkrad and Limagplay,
thank you very much for your replies.
So, it seems that the Mi 11 is still a good phone for a competitive price
What price are you getting it at?
i think, about 250 €
New? Where from? It's okay for that price actually
