hi everyone hope you all are good.
i have been using 11i hypercharge and found it has a typical problem which users are facing across is that even when 5g connectivity is present, the phone doesnt latch onto it. I need to reboot and then it connects. Also, when it is connected to 5g, suddenly after 1-2 hours it will again go back to 4g, and now it will stay there whole day unless I reboot it and then it connects to 5G.
When I contacted xiaomi they asked to activate the SA mode as jio uses SA mode on 5G in india. I did this also, still no use, ultimately they have asked me to check the same sim in another phone.
Strangely, my wife and my mother we all use jio sim in inidia , their devices are all on 5g all the day but not mine.
Does anyone have idea or options to do anything else?
Thanks for any help in advance
Regards
Rajesh

Hello!
I hope someone can help me with this "little" problem that I'm experimenting with my Xiaomi mi 9T Pro running MIUI Global 10.3.3.0 (Stock) I checked everything before buying and the phone is fully compatible with my carrier (I'm from Venezuela), however, I noticed that when the phone is on 4G it switches to 3G/H/H+ in order to make/receive calls (which is pretty normal since my carrier does not support VoLTE). The problem comes when there is an incoming call, it should switch automatically to 3G/H/H+ BUT it does not happen all the time, in fact, I can say that it only happens 25% of the time when I was testing, of course, when it does not happen there is no way to receive the incoming call.
So far I tried:
- Forcing the phone to stay on 3G (everything works great)
- Testing the different network options (it switches from 4G to 3G but not always and it should)
- Switching from SIM slot 1 to slot 2
- At the moment the preferred network type LTE/TD-SCDMA/UMTS
Could it be a software issue? or could it be related to my carrier? I haven't tried using a SIM card from another carrier.
After all, I bought a PHONE that does not behave like an actual phone all the time, so, I hope someone can help me with this.
Thanks in advance.
Note: I noticed that I might be posted on the wrong section, I'm sorry for that.

Thank you, I almost thought I was the only one.
I bought my Xiaomi mi 9T Pro running MIUI Global 10.3.3.0 (Stock) a week ago and I have the same symptoms like you.
Im on A1 Network in Austria running default network settings and I realized after hours I couldn't make calls (and obviously did't receive any).
This is the first phone I had this network problems, and I am on A1 network for 20 years with different phones....
I hope someone can share some light why this happens and what are the best settings for European (Austrian) A1 network.
Trying to switch to LTE/UMTS, but that setting is always reset to the default above after reboot.
As its also my work phone it would be very bad not recognizing for hours that I'm not reachable...
Thank you !
A1 supports VoLTE, try to enable it on your phone, I have no issues running a dual SIM config with A1 and 3 .....

Hi! It feels better knowing that I'm not alone.
The fact is that I can actually make calls (it take from 3 to 5 seconds switching from 4G to 3G/H), the problem comes when there is an incoming call, sometimes it works (it switches to 3G/H and when the call is ended, it switches back to 4G) but most it does not. I just tried LTE/UMTS and it does work but not for long, I can see that it happens and sometimes it does not. I found a "solution" which involves forcing to 3G/H but it's not the point, there should be a real solution. At this moment, I haven't found a correct network configuration, all the ones that I've tried just have worked for me for some time, and then the problem is back without even rebooting the phone. Could it be caused by a faulty SIM or it's just a network/carrier issue? I don't want to think that it's a hardware issue.

Whats your ROM Version ?
I alreaddy tried to enable VoLTE, I can switch it on and the VoLTE Symbol appears.
The problem is - I have no caller ID. I don't even see the phone number when someone calls me ("unbekannter Anrufer" - "unknown caller")
That's not conveniant, so as soon as I switched OFF VoLTE caller recognition was enabled again.
Is VoWIFI working at you with A1 ? I can enable it but I don't get the symbot at home in my WIFI network.
So for now I see two options:
- the correct (stable) network configuration for Austria that persist in the phone configuration
- enabling VoLTE but with a solution for a working caller ID
I finally got found the solution
Problem is the notification settings.
This was somehow reset after the update to mui 11.
To fix the issue:
1. Go to settings
2. Click notification
3. Click the notification badges (3rd icon)
4. Find the "phone" icon
5. Enable the show notification
6. Exit to settings and test
Having same problem
Can someone help me I am from Malta and have Xiaomi mi9t pro and from last night stopped receiving calls and incoming . Tried with sim 1 and it worked but it happened again . I tried the notification settings but still the same problem .
I had trouble not receiving calls also...
After looking here, and also on YouTube, I started going through my phone again. I too was not getting my calls a lot, but I have only had my phone maybe 2 weeks, so there's not much on it yet. One thing I am always adding is themes. The theme feature is it's own pre installed app as I'm sure we've all seen. Different one's have been doing/blocking certain features at times on my phone. My husband's calls were being sent to voicemail, and some other important calls. I noticed the other day when I tried a new theme it locked me out of my phone with no preface to get back to the lock screen. I had to take a picture and select send to get back to the lock screen. Remembering this, I decided to go back to the original developer theme for the phone. My phone now rings. Original developer mode also controls the call feature, not just the theme, which I did not know or read until now. Going back to it I believe kind of reset my configuration. I would say give this a try for sure. Hope it helps someone else I love my phone and didn't want to lose it. FYI, I am on TMobile network in the USA.
Hi!
I have a very similar problem on a xiaomi redmi note 8t. I tried various settings, but failed. This is annoying because the phone is relatively new. I think it is a hardware problem.

I have the same issue here in same phone but on EU MIUI 12.0.3.0 .. with the same symptoms u described .. i suspected in sim card and i replaced it with a new one and the issue still there .. did u find a solution for this issue?
I'm not sure if this is the same issue as what's described by OP, but it's somewhat similar (not receiving calls). Sometimes my colleagues will call me on Whatsapp and state that they're unable to reach me via the cellular network. This is what fixed it for me:
Settings - SIM cards & mobile networks - Select your sim card - turn off 'use volte (use volte to improve the quality of voice calls)'

Hello everyone,
I have Mi 9 M1902F1G 128gb with MIUI global 11.0.4. I am living in France and using Bouyuges telecom, recently when I come to work my phone loses network connection related to simcard. No calls, no 4G, no 3G nothing absolutely. There is a cross sign sometimes on network bar, then sim card activation process starts but no connection. Even I cannot send an sms. This is a new problem. I have been using this phone with same sim card for approximately for a year.
Thanks in advance

Change job
Since you don't tell us what actions you already have taken the most obvious is to pull out the sim card and clean it. If this doesn't help, contact your operator to get a new sim card. Everything you say indicates that your problem is one with the sim card or the operator and has nothing to do with the phone.

Have you tried with VoLTE disabled?
Also, by preferring network type 3G or even 2G, instead of 4G.
Maybe you recently got some some 4G/3G micro-station at work with the band not supported by phone
Edit: You could also try to inspect by Network Cell Info Lite, Net Monster, Net Monitor or similar apps available from Playstore
Hello everyone,
I bought two Realme X50 5g from Amazon uk and I was really excited when the phone arrived, from what I read everywhere was a lot of value for the money. However just after a few hours of use I was really disappointed to see the behaviour I am having in both phones.
I can connect to the wifi 5g band without issues and I get internet, the problem is that after a while (randomly can't tell 1 hour or 10 hours depends) when I check the phone it says "no internet" and I can't access anything, I need to disconnect and connect again and the internet comes straight away.
This issue is a little bit annoying because it means being disconnected for a while until I realise about it.
I am in the UK and I have Virgin Media and was using their SuperHub 3 which has worked really well with any device until now. I tried to change the config from dual band and add 2g to the 2g ssid and 5g to the 5g ssid so they were separated so it doesn't use dual band automatically and is the same. I was suspicious the problem could be the VM router so I bought a new router TP-Link Archer A7 AC1750 which I believe is a middle range router which supports dual-band however doesn't have all the high tech technologies like mu-mimo and beamforming. Anyway I got the router setup everything and have been using the Tp Link instead an the exact same thing happens.
I am with EE as carrier and I don't have yet a 5G plan, however as soon I turned on the phone with my sim EE sent me a test saying that they have enabled VOLTE since I am on a device that supports it. I may be wrong but I am also getting the impression the issue tends to happen more frequently if I have received or done any calls, but I have no hopes on getting support from EE.
I have contacted Amazon support which was hopeless and I have sent an email to Realme support but I haven't heard from them yet.
I am starting to consider to return the phones and get a refund but if I need to get to that will be a shame because the phones does looks nice and I have been enjoying it, I like the UI and the performance is quite good.
With all said I was wondering if anyone is aware of any issues with the Realme X50 5G and the 765G SOC wifi?
Thanks in advance
So One thing I discovered on this new phone of mine is that although working perfectly there is a major flaw in the way Internet data works during a phone call.
Any time you make a call, the phone downgrades the active signal from 5G/4G to H or E ( GSM).
Which in turns cuts off the data.
If I force 5G or 4G, then the phone call cannot be made. It just disconnects.
I have tried all settings, Volte enable/disable with no joy.
Some have said it's a carrier limitation, but it's not, cause in my iPhone, the very same simcard works just fine and the Internet is usable during a call.
Also tried with dual Simcard setup. As in the settings, the phone allows to use one simcard for data and one for call. Still not working.
Can someone please tell me if there is a solution please, or can you try your phone while on the call to see if Internet works as this feature is detrimental to me keeping the phone. If this doesn't work I will be selling the phone and getting a realme replacement.. Xiaomis sometimes suck with their non existent support.
Thanks

This comes from the operator who has not yet communicated with Xiaomi.
Same case with 2 operators on the same phone.
What version of rom?

Global ROM 13.0.4
I can't see an operator fault if they have Volte services enabled and this simcard works flawlessly on other android systems.
As a matter of fact, any SimCard i have tried, so far 3 providers and the phone does the same thing. As soonest the call is made it downgrades the signal to H while full 5G or 4G is available??

the operator must provide the necessary information for each brand and phone to activate Volte and Wowifi.
On my 11t pro everything works with SFR and nothing with FREE because Free has not yet transmitted the information necessary to activate the services.
So went to see the operator. They sell Xiaomi phones. 3 network ( Three EU)
The phones in the stores are working just fine, no issues at all. And my phone simply just isnt.I have tried every possible setting and still not working.
See the screenshot below. As I'm typing this I'm on a super fast full signal 5G connection. As soon as I make a phone call, the phone will downgrade to E or H+ which is horrible. This network signal switching is also laggy, and If 2g signal is poor I cannot even make a call.

Does the "Use VoLTE" switch appear in the SIM card settings?
If not you can try the Dialer Code *#*#869434#*#*. That only will make this switch appear, but sometimes this is enough. It should also show the little VoLTE-Badge next to the signal strength (see screenshot).

I just had another look and on your 1st post it says the SIM is named "3 IRL", as far as I know Three Ireland does not offer VoLTE at all.
So it will always drop to 3G/H+ or 2G/E ... on every phone.

5G connection should support this naturally. If I put this simcard Into an iPhone or Galaxy the 5G connection stays on regardless.
Anyway even with Vodafone this doesn't work,so I'm thinking it either a phone limitation or a phone is fooked

No, for VoNR your phone still needs the same configs as with VoLTE. Though only a few operators support VoNR as of now.
