Some time ago after opening Magisk > Modules I saw a module called AC5BB80F and the "reboot to install" icon. I have never seen it, so I disabled it for security purposes but not removed because I wanted to discover it. But I haven't found anything. So, is it a virus/spyware/something else what is dangerous? Does anyone know what is it? And is it possible to extract ZIP of an installed Magisk module? I'm on unofficial ArrowOS from this thread.

Hi all,
So I've just flashed Oxygen OS 4.0.1 for the OnePlus3T, flashed SuperSU 2.79, downloaded Magisk from playstore, installed it, uninstalled SuperSU app. Root is working fine
Two green ticks, installed and properly rooted, but the SafteyNet failes. I read that you need to enable Magisk hide, so I do, and it tells me to reboot, so again I do, but the option keeps resetting/.
Anyone else having this issue/ has a solution?
There's been several users with OnePlus devices having problems with Magisk Hide. Might be a device specific issue that's not user solvable at the moment...
Edit: New info added to OP after my answer... Magisk Hide does not work with SuperSU.

That's a shame ./. I'll ask reddit
Thanks
I'm using phh's superuser and Magisk hide is working for me on the open beta and people seem to say that the current beta and the release versions are virtually the same, so it might be an issue with how SuperSU is handled.
afaik Magisk Hide needs phh's root, not SuperSU

Ok... I believe you've added some information since my first answer...
Magisk Hide does NOT work with SuperSU. You have to use topjohnwu's phh's superuser that's provided with Magisk.

Nope, nope, nope. It's a problem with USERS who use magisk hide options. In THREAD is info about supersu + magisk hide = NOT WORKING. This is only fault of wrong su binaries, so it's not device specific issue.
And for this issue - probably flash a unsu script. It will (probably) delete all of supersu files, then in magisk manager or twrp flash modded phh binaries for magisk and then, finally install ph manager from google play. That is config to be able to use magisk hide.
ENJOY.

Yeah, I know... OP edited with SuperSU info after my answer. I edited my post as well. Thanks for the reminder.
Not going to quote everyone, but YES! Removing SuperSU and using phh SU works just fine!
Thanks all.
I recently installed magisk and got it all working but after installing a module I cannot find it anywhere on my phone. I don't know where else to look, I installed IYTBP
Hello, i have Oneplus5 with the latest updates and Android 10, also installed latest version of Magisk and Magisk Manager, so i decide to install nethunter, download modules directly from Magisk Manager - "KaliNethunter 8.2" and Wireless Firmware For Nethunter but nothing installed there was no KaliNethunter app after rebooting phone, why not can someone help?
I have also installed MagiskHide props and Busybox modules installed nothing else
no one can help?
The module install log and the Magisk log is a good piece of information to provide for anyone to be able to help.
https://www.didgeridoohan.com/magisk/MagiskHelp
here is magisk log but i could not find nethunter module log where is it?
The module install log needs to be saved from the Manager module flash screen, right after you've installed the module.
The Magisk log looks normal (apart from the many unnecessary apps added to the Hide list), so the install log is our only likely source of info for what happened. From what I remember, that module installs the apk as a normal user app during install, so you could probably just grab the apk from the zip and install it manually.
here the log yes have done this like you said intall apk files and now will test it and update you
Yeah... There are a whole bunch of errors regarding selinux, the apk installation and trying to edit system files with /system read-only. Contacting the module creator might be your best bet, but looking at the Github repo it seems to be abandoned.
thank you will do
Got magisk and twrp working. Was wondering if anyone has loaded any of the magisk modules and found them useful?
I select a couple at random and end up bricking. So I thought I would ask before trying again.
As title, I am running Magisk App v25.2, and trying to get undetected on RootBeer
I have enabled Zygisk
Installed Shamiko, SafetyNet fix and Magisk BuildProps, and 'hidden' RootBeer in the deny list
The device now passes every check except 'root management apps'
Enabled Magisk Hide which failed the first 3 times, then finally worked after like 4 reboots to hide the Magisk app name and package name com.topjohnwu....
It renamed the app, but then lost root to the renamed app and asked me to 'Install the app' again to restore. Did so, and then neither app worked, Magisk nor Settings2, tapped original Magisk app and bootloop started.
That's fine, I can re-flash etc, not a problem; but does anyone know how I get undetected on RootBeer? I think they are checking the package names that are installed and of course finding the package name and Magisk app name still triggers 'root management apps'.
Seeing as Magisk Hide is basically deprecated in favour of Zygisk, how do we now change the Magisk app name?
EDIT:
I read here, that the guy used Icebox to freeze Magisk which apparently passes RootBeer, but this was 5 months ago.
Anymore option to hide root from apps? from androidroot

I have given IceBox root, but Magisk doesn't appear in the list to hide/freeze. Island also doesn't seem to work when setup as root (error 1)
I tried Magisk Hide again.
- first try it created a new app called 'Settings' and the SU popup showed, granted access.
- clicking the Settings app resulted in 'Restore the Magisk app - root was lost' - didn't click Install
- went back to original Magisk app and tried hide again still with 'Settings' as the app name
- created a new Settings app, but also seemed to hide Magisk successfully and asked if I wanted a shortcut on the homescreen
RootBeer now does not detect Magisk as its not there; however the process of Magisk Hide in 25.2 seems really touch and go, as seemingly doesn't work the first time.
Maybe its possible for Magisk to grant its clone app root without the user popup, so it works first time?
- uninstalling the first Settings app, seemed to have not done anything wrong, or any damage, Magisk still works.
