OEM Unlock doesn't appear in developer settings - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions & Answers

i have t-mobile (network unlocked) Samsung Galaxy 8. Would like to install custom rom. But "OEM Unlock" is not present under developer settings.
I have gone through this https://www.xda-developers.com/fix-...y-s9-samsung-galaxy-s8-samsung-galaxy-note-8/ multiple times and haven't been able to enable "OEM Unlock"

This is what my phone shows in download mode. Based on this which method should i try to get "OEM Unlock" appear under developer settings.
There are way too much information about this topic, but i'm not sure which one applies for this phone, i have. So, please help.

Why don't you show a screenshot of your Developer Settings with the missing OEM Unlock...? It might illuminate the problem...
Nevermind...didn't know this was actually an issue/bug...
You might wanna try posting in the thread linked in the article: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/missing-oem-unlock-option.3770477/

How to re enable volte Verizon after new ROM flash

The title says it all. How do you read able voice over LTE after flashing a new ROM on Verizon? I had it just fine on my last rom which was stock and I updated to clean ROM. I accessed the hidden menu *#*#4636#*#* and found the option to turn volte back on but after clicking the option and rebooting it doesn't do anything. I doubled checked myverizon account and the option is still there active. Also switched to ltr/CDMA in mobile networks without any difference.
Edit: solved
Did you do all the complicated things and forget the simple one? LOL

My friends phone just did this to him out of the blue. I told him I'd try to work on it for him so I have arrived at the bootloader unlock solution as I was going to try to flash the factory image for him but I get this message at the oem unlock screen to do this:
Code:
Check 'Allow OEM Unlock' in Android Settings > Developer
This is impossible because the phone cannot be booted. This phone has never been modded, it just up and quit on him. I already went through recovery to wipe data/user and it still meets with the above screen.
My theory is the flash must be hosed. Any suggestions?

REDMI 4X (remote : partition flashing is not allowed) error while trying to install TWRP

So I had this old redmi 4X chilling in the shelf and I wanted to use it...But with a different ROM
I have enabled both USB DEBUGGING and OEM UNLOCKING option in the developers option and cross checked if its enabled before entering fastboot
I have tried a lot of stuff from other threads in this forum for this specific phone and nothing seems to help...the same issue arises...
have tried commands to enable bootloader , few people have made .bat files which they claim to install TWRP by just using it...nothing seems to help...even tried a factory reset
I apparently lost the sim card tray....so I cannot use the MI UNLOCK status tool too (it requires a sim car for some reason)

Click to collapse
In my case I had to take it ON and connected to Internet for *exactly* 7 days to have it enabled.
There are some workarounds indicated in some other threads, BUT I don't know of they really work or not...
