I think i have big problem with my n1

Hello,
I have big problem with my rooted nexus one !!
Detail :
the phone hang in boot ( x rainbow ) and i can't open recovery mod !
What i can do ??

Wrong forum, this oughta go in Q&A.
Anyhow: when did the problem start? Were you flashing a radio, or did you just decide to reboot your phone?

reflash recovery using fastboot

i think you have another big problem, you are not able to read the stikies so you posted in the wrong section.

I think you need to explain what you've tried to do.
Then some of the clever people on this site, may be able to work out what has happened, more info needed!

Luckily its not really a big problem. You should be able to remove battery, and go to recovery by holding power and volume down, then recovery... if not you will have to re flash recovery like www said.

The problem start after root the device directly, i did not flash the radio

Okay,
when i received the device i rooted after that i take the memory card to my old nokia becouse i need the contacts when insert the memory i turn on and his hang !!

Try this
Wipe EVERYTHING in recovery (including ext partition if you have one). Wipe the dalvik cache, everything. Then try reflashing. If it doesn't work try a different rom. If that doesn't work make sure it's plugged in and has a good charge and flash a new radio and then a new image. If not, contact HTC.

A: You can not brick a phone unless you are flashing Radio/SPL packages. Make sure if you are doing that, you follow directions VERY CAREFULLY. A bricked phone can not boot into bootloader, recovery, or into normal operation modes. You can not connect to a bricked phone via adb or fastboot. You can only see one screen on the phone and it will be the first splash screen.

I can't open recovery mod but i can enter the bootloader and fastboot
i try to reflash the recovery from fastboot mod but his still not working

But i can see the bootloader and fastboot or "Hboot" !!

Flashed Honeycomb Alpha 2.5 now have Spanish language SGT

anyone else have this problem ? I could navigate a bit in Spanish, but without a key board I was sunk.
Anyone have any experience with this problem ?

It's Catalan. And you prob selected the first selection in the setup wizard thingy when it first booted.
Power down. Boot into cwm and wipe the user space to wipe that setting (and all your others). Then select reboot and be careful what you click on.

I reflashed this ROM again... and the first thing I see is the EULA. then the Catalan lang start page..
dosen't matter what I do even if I touch nothing, I get no choice of English or any other language, it just starts in Catalan.

I am trying to get back to stock for now. I am getting little tired of the bugs in most custom roms. I know most creators have invested a lot of time, but i think good old stock is good enough for me. I have a few questions though:
I am from the Netherlands and i know i need to download from http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/
I selected this version and downloaded it:
S5830XWKS9 2.3.5 2011 October
I got odin 4.38 setup, but what are the steps to now safely revert back to stock? I can't find it anywhere.. Really thanks for any help. It can be a risky procedure, that is why i am asking.
Also, will i lose root if i do this?

1. Turn off your phone
2. Just for sure unplug sd card and sim card.
3. Go into download mode. (Hold volume - and home and power)
4. After the yellow "downloading" appears on your display plug the usb if you already didnt and run odin also if you already didnt.
5. Select OPS you have probably already downloaded it. (cooper.ops)
6. Sign one packcage and dont touch the other boxes.
7. Select the FW you have downloaded from sammobile and put it in the one packcage field.
8. Click on "start".
9. Wait untill the odin shows "PASS" in a blue square.
10. Done

yes you will lose root...because you are installing stock ROM..
its not the risky procedure unless you follow the instructions correctly...
just goto this link to have right ODIN ver for your phone
and for right instructions to how to flash it...go to this link
and download flash guide for your mobile...all the best..
understand the instructions and follow it...
if you have a problem of bootscreen loop after installing it then dont panic...go to recovery mode and do the wipe data reset and wipe cache partition..then reboot system..

[Q] Did I BRICK mine? :( Please help me resurrect it from the dead!

First things first I'm a big noob when it comes to tweaking/flashing/anything with a phone; and life just confirmed it.
All I wanted was to make pics without shutter sound, to capture powerpoint screens in college instead of having to write ten sentences in 10 seconds. I couldnt just turn the shutter sound off! After some reading I thought I needed to both get my P880 rooted and needed CWM Recovery; I managed to do everything exactly as stated here:

After that I tried to install this rom via CWM Recovery -> install from SD/zip file -> CWM_deodex_rom_v10e_signed.zip

I did that because this mod had the camera mod I wanted installed already.. The installation went fine, the phone stated.
But when I hit reboot, it got stuck in bootloop.. All I can do now is press PWR + Vol down (read that after some googling) and enter 'Android system recovery <3e>'.
It shows this list of options (above a picture of a dying android with a red exclamation mark on top of it)
reboot system now (done that few times now, gets stuck in bootloop everytime.. Well I think it's that. It gets stuck at the LG screen, it's my interpretation that that is the correct use of the word bootloop)
apply update from external storage (well please dear lord let there be an escape through this option)
wipe data/factory reset (no results after hard resetting, still bootloop)
wipe cache partition (did this too)
apply update from cache (not this, why whould I)
wipe nv partition (did this too)
Toggle Console VART Log (and well, I don't think this option's going to save me)
I wanted an option to turn off the shutter sound. Well, things changed. Right now I'm willing to do anything to get the phone back to life! Google couldn't really help me out.. Well better stated: I can't help myself out using google, so I'm asking for your help! Please all XDA tweakers, modders, hackers, etc. unite and help! It is appreciated A LOT! Please state what I need to do now, I just want to get it back to a working state. Or please confirm that it is not completely BRICKED ;x

Now I'm stuck @ S/W Upgrade - Please wait while upgrading ... screen. Please help me out
edit 2: What I'm doing now.. via the LG PC Suite -> Lg Mobile Support Tool -> Recovery (you need to fill in either IMEI or S/N and model)
Status: Downloading the LG Mobile Phone Software Update program. Est time left: 44:40 for 400mb.. Nice server

Re-flash using LGFlash Tool.
Use compatible .dll depending if its v10x or v20a.
Search a little, there's a lot of info about that

Wait, my stock v10c's camera already had the function to mute the shutter sound. Why did you need to do anything else?

I managed to get my hands on the latest version of LGNPST - I suppose that's what you mean with LGFlash Tool.
But how do I know if the phone is v10x or v20a.. ? I think all methods to look that up are blocked, since Im in bootloop with only android system recovery <3e>

My phone stop to bot and charge after i instal a bad ROM/ please HELP

hello i trying to instal a ROM from this site named Android revolution HD ( i read description and show it is compatible with my samsung galaxy s3 mini) but i think i doing something wrong when i downlwad this rom in my phone then i use one app from google play magazin (free) who can instal a ROM from normal samsung ROM run .
After i instal ROM and rebot ,my phone stop to load ROM and i see he did not response when i try to charge him from outlet
i ask anyone who know what i must to do help me to save my phone !!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry but you should not work on your phone before you know what you are doing in the first place
I don't know the site and the ROM so..isn't there a forum to ask?
What exactly did you do to install the ROM?
Explain step by step and be more accurate please!

first i download this ROM from http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...m-android-revolution-hd-52-0-android-t1797334 then i instal this rom to my flash card on android phone , then i download from google play apps to instal ROM from https://play.google.com/store/search?q=rom (one from first 3 ...i forgot what i use ) after i run this app to instal ROM on my phone he ask me about ROM file location , i select flash card in floder where is my downloaded ROM (android revolution) then i follow instruction to instal after that ask em to rebot mobile .....after i rebot android stop to bot and stop to charge from outlet

It is pretty hard to say what's causing this..
Did you do a full wipe/factory reset and then flash the new ROM?
I do not know how it's done with ROM manager etc. But I would recommend
that you flash a recovery (like TWRP f.e.) with Odin to your phone (there a plenty
or how-to-manuals here)
Then do a full wipe and flash the ROM again.
There is a guide on the ROMs side how to flash it via a recovery.
Read first how to do a factory reset/full wipe in the Forums here.

phone was rooted before . yes i do a full wipe /factory reset +clear chacke from "phone bios" then i instal original samsung software before but this ROM (android revolution hd ) i started from samsung original Rom not from " phone bios" . im not teacher but i know what u mean .
problem is now my phone do not answer when i start bios (power+volume up+menu) or to load original software and he stop to charge on outlet (battery ) , usb also not working , odin software does not recognize this android phone to be conected on any port COM to my pc (that cause phone is off).
any help ???

Sounds bad to me..
Maybe search the forum for "soft brick" and "hard brick".
I've seen some threads regarding this issue.
