As the title says it all, Poco M2 (SHIVA) and M2 reloaded are identical (with M2 having 6GB RAM) running currently on MIUI 12.5.7 Android 11 Indian Variant.
Will Redmi 9 (LANCELOT) ROM work on M2 ? Or should I wait for LAVA ROM ?
I have seen posts saying Poco X3 Pro 9Bhima) rom works on Vayu units (one has NFC the latter doesn't)
I couldn't unlock my Redmi 9 bootloader, at first it said couldn't verify smth then I signed out and in again into my Mi account and now the Mi Unlock app on my PC says to wait 168h
Am I supposed to unlock bootloader before or after downgrading from MIUI 13 to MIUI 12?
Thanks

Hi respectful developers,
I bought Redmi K20 Pro from Australia, on the back of the device it is labelled as Redmi K20 pro but in the about phone section it is Mi 9T pro as prior to exporting it to Australia, exporters unlocked the bootloader and installed the global MIUI 10 (see snapshots).
Now the question, will this device in my hand get MIUI11 and Android 10? If yes, when? Will this update revert the device to the Chinese MIUI 11 ROM? If yes, how to get the official global MIUI 11 for the Redmi K20 pro?
I am currently residing in Egypt and would very much appreciate your good technical assistance.
Regards,
Mohamed Atteya
Basically they flashed 9T global ROM in your K20 pro. Which further means the bootloader is unlocked, if yes, you will still get OTAs when they arrive and you will be able to install them, OTA will come of same ROM and not of a different region so rest assured you won't go back to chinese.
HOWEVER. If you will use miflash tool to flash any other region's ROM, MAKE SURE you DON'T check on CLEAN ALL AND LOCK option in bottom right corner. Only check CLEAN ALL. This is because locking a bootloader with different region ROM installed bricks your phone.

Try to change your region to other country like Spain or Germany, reboot your phone and check your system update (updater).

Regarding when you'll get OTA, it will eventually come as per their dates

Very Disappointed No One Is Here To Respond.
Anyways I Have Figured Out My Self. The Answer Of My Query Is Yes. All Lancelot ROMs Like (Redmi 9 Prime / Redmi 9 Global / Redmi 9 Chinese Version E.T.C) Can Be Flashed To Each Other.

Hello Mic225,
Greetings !
It Is Very Simple. Just Unlock Your Device Bootloader Then Flash The China Stock ROM.
Yes MIUI 12 Is Very Smooth And Stable , But In China ROM There Are Lots Of Bloatwares And GAPPS Are Also Not Available So Have To Install GAPPS.
Stay Home And Stay Safe !
Thanks,

Hello Experts!
Apparently my Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G China version is MTK! I bought it thinking it was Qualcomm and that I could easily switch my China Rom to the Global Rom like always. Unfortunately I failed to consider the chipset. I initiated the Rom update and Hard bricked my phone.
On the computer under Devices and drivers THE MTK version quickly flash and disappear with the sound that indicates that the phone is alive within but dead outside.
Please help me find the appropriate flash files to restore my firmware.
It used Dimensity 1100 mediatek, maybe you can ask in the telegram group. Btw can you enter fastboot mode

Sigh, I have a hunch that your Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is Poco X3 GT for global market (https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_poco_x3_gt-10949.php)
Next time, take some time to see whether this redmi note 10 pro (global) is indeed different than redmi note 10 pro (china)

Product name: POCO M3 Pro 5G Power Black 6GB RAM 128GB ROM
Manufacture date: 25 May 2021 0:56:45

for have unlocked bootloader you have to wait, how you first screenshot reported. after you can use miflash for flash all compatibile official rom. flash gsi carefully. not all vendor are full comparible. the most common bug is related to audio. in my experience the rom ported from redmi note 8 can work fine, but i'm not sure . also lineage. personally the stock android ui bored me. i'm waiting for miu13. i think you're problem is simply that you don't have bootloader unlocked. wait 6 days and retry

hey
i have a question
how official tool says my phone is camellia but cpuz and Xiaomi ADB & Fastboot Tools.jar say camellian?
how is this possible.
thanks for the heads up on gsi.
do you have working gsi installed on m3 pro 5g? can you please share the link.
camellia is china version. camellian global. look at the model of your phone. if the last letter is G the code name should be camellian. i'm quite sure your phone is global. wich official tool you talk about?

only the mi unlock tool shows camellia "first screenshot of first post"
everything else shows camellian

nope phone is new 9 days to be exact,
its really annoying and odd.
even verified it on mi.com/verify
hey figured it out. my device is camellian.
camellia name comes from mediatek modem device name
they didnt bother changing modem name
my bootloader is now unlocked
i have flashed my phone to 12.0.11 EEA
in the process kind of bricked it got the "dm verity is corrupted error looping"
fixed it without using this "fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img"
now have it working normally.
im going to root and debloat it.
soon i will post new thread for users too.
thank you for the help.
Hi, so i recently got the new Mi 11 and stupid me, i didn't check what version it was and when i booted the phone up, i realized that i got the Chinese version. Due to me having no patience waiting the 7 days to unlock it i cant really use anything. Can someone help me
You have to wait
It is possible - but I do not recommend - you can in EDL mode bypassing xiaomi authorization, you may brick the phone
But to do it hi has to have athorized acout or someone who has It.

The guy on Telegram group who fixed my bricked mi 11 buy flashing through edl told me that he cannot flash a Global rom to my mi 10 with locked bootloader and CN rom. If he cannot do it for mi 10 it is unlikely that he can do it for mi 11.
