Question Lock Screen Swiping !!! - Samsung Galaxy S23

Is there a way to dispense with the swipe up on the S23 lock screen. I have all the biometric options turned on and the pin code, so I really don't see the point on having this also.
I only want to not have the swipe up, as long as it does not effect all the other security features.
Thanks

Yes. Look for it in lock screen settings.

Yes, I know about that. The Swipe option is set at None and if I try to change it, a pop up message states all Biometrics will be removed...that's not what I want !!

That's not what you should change.
Check this:

That's the one I needed. Cheers

Hiding items on today screen when in landscape??

Basically the message subject says it all... I have a bunch of things in the today screen but when I slide open the phone I want some to be hidden so there is no scrollbar on the side (really annoying)....
Is this possible and if so how do I do it??
Thanks.

You probably have large start menu installed.
Heres an image of what I am talking about.... I dont think its the start menu because when I am in landscape the start menu automatically creates a section called "more..." for the items that dont fit.

I think this may have something to do with the Quick launcher which has 5 icons for my pictures, task launcher, camera, music and phone.... this cant be seen in the image but is there a way to hide this program in landscape???? I dont see any options for this.
Thanks.
ADDITION: I was able to make this somewhat more tolerable by un-docking the HTC home plugin... still wish there was no scrolling though.

Use Applock..
Sent from my Galaxy Note running ParanoidAndroid v0.3 using XDA Premium. xD
thank you!
is it easy to enable/disable it?
i would rarely need this. for eg: someone needs to check something on the internet ... i'd like to be able to lock my email and the rest "at a click of a button"
i don't want to have this "on" all the time.

Yup, it has a simple 1x1 widget. Tap it to enable it, tab again, enter the password to disable it !
top right, that's the widget..

Sensitive LockScreen Notifications

On my previous Lollipop phone it was possible to set an apps notification to Hide Sensitive Content to prevent it from displaying specific details on the lock screen. A really good feature of Lollipop that I'm really missing here now on the Mate S.
I know this is EMUI 3.1 but just wondered if anyone knows how to activate this same setting, its got to be in there somewhere.

You can find the setting under "Screen lock and password" in settings.

yeah I've tried that but that appears to only be relevant to Messages (i.e text messages) it doesnt seem to affect other apps like WhatsApp.
Thanks though, any other suggestions?

Verizon version checking in here. I just have a magnifying glass there too. Want my 3 dots back
This is usually set by carrier csc. If you are rooted & are using unencypted cscfeatures you can edit to make the change.

This is what you have to enter to bring three dots back. As I can see it is carrier-dependent feature.

What is the feature on your smartphone that you like the most?

Smartphones now come loaded with tons of features. All said and done, there are some which we find very useful
For me on my Samsung M32 it is the double tap to turn on the screen.
It save the effort of having to unlock with the pattern or using my fingerprint just to check what notifications have come in.
Another of the less 'glamorous' features that I find really useful is the torch.
Do you have any such features which you find really useful?
