Alessa kernel tweaker keeps crashing. Apps are randomly crashing. even on first boot and later while using.

Thnx for your comment, I will try to look into the bugs, and can you provide me, what apps are crashing. And plz provide me a log too with that.

I've using this rom and i could found a few bugs, the first one is that the aplication "phone" is crashing, also the app Alessa Kernel, i just flash the latest build without any modification.
I share with you the logcat, i hope that you can fix this bugs, thank you again.

Sorry for the bugs you faced.
The second build was made form unified source for riva and rolex and was still in testing.
Now all major bugs have been solved.
Plz test the new version that is build 3 and report.
And Thnx for reporting the bugs.

Hi, first of all, thanks for this rom
In addition to the bugs mentioned in other comments, I noticed that the brightness control does not work and the auto brightness option does not appear in the settings.
I checked for some error in logcat, but I did not see any errors about this bug.

problems i having are
- when first boot, kernel tweaker crashing
- when normal usage, sometimes system ui stopped
- brightness slider and auto brightness not working
- when playing music there's no distortion, but, i was using headphone, and the audio came out only from the right headphone and the phone's speaker, weird...
everything else work fine for me, but i can't use it as my daily driver yet, but compared to other oreo rom form Redmi 5a, i prefer this, thank you so much for working on this rom!

I have found few problems Dev,
1.When screen is off , it doesn't recognise fingerprint 5/10times
2.even though it passes safetynet, some apps, recognises this as rooted device eg marrow app from playstore (videos are not playable in rooted devices)

is this rom better then rr when it comes to being stable and battery life

Can anyone confirm about ViLTE as I am unable to do it ?

Thanks to the force for bringing up the lastest Cdroid.
I flashed it on my phone and it is good, but there is a problem about video stuttering that it can be seen on youtube videos and the notifications bar.
How can I fix it?

I myself don't use Bluetooth. I only check if it's working.

Battery is fine, no problem with that.
About encryption.
I myself don't use it.
However you will probably have read about it in several threads that it is often a problem. It should work in crDroid BUT, is it also working for our beloved osprey??
I would appreciate it if you would test and report. Others can have profit from your testing.
The only thing is that maybe you have to dirty flash the rom, so be prepared and make a backup.

The flickering in the UI can be fixed by reverting this commit: https://github.com/crdroidandroid/a...mmit/8194bddad103d30d47cbc5aa34cdf5b268f9f867
It started happening in Havoc 3.5 and I found that this was the cause.

New build: crDroid v6.6 - 20200516
The screen stutter has been resolved.

I did a clean install of this ROM and I wasn't able to stay connected to my carrier/tower after reboot. Calls and txt worked fine but data was disconnected all the time. Tried rebooting the radio, different APN settings nothing worked

NAIS ROM Gan, btw, i was add a user on This lovely Ancient ROM, but the application background on that second user is changed, it is filled with that beautiful village half naked girl, makes me ...up:silly::victory:. How can i change it please? :fingers-crossed:

Ganti gambar header ui?

Rom is super smooth! Thank you for that But encountered some issues :
1. Night Light isn't working.! :')
2. Blank Space at the bottom of keyboard. [Screenshot included]

2. You must turn off gestures [ Setting -> ancient features -> gesture -> system gesture -> 3 keys]

Incoming call screen issue
If I am in a apps (let's say YouTube) and someone calls me The phone rings and vibrates but no Answer (Calling) Screen shows up. [ Literally there's no way I can receive the call ]

1. Flashed "Night-light-fix.zip". The zip flashed successfully but still the Night light isn't working. [Flash Log File Included]

Try download again and install wipe dalvik cache
it should work because there is already a test

You need settings dafult
go to setting -> apps and notification -> default app -> set phone app

Which Recovery Project do you suggest for Flashing it? I'm currently using PitchBlack (PBRP)

How to flash:
Rom is FDE so you can flash using Official Orange Fox from here or using xperience recovery from here
If using xperience recovery download zip and extract the img flash it via fastboot
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
copy xperience zip under external sdcard and flash it or use adb sideload
adb sideload xperience-15.1.0-20210416-NIGHTLY-lavender.zip
if using orange fox flash using orange fox in the normal form

You can try flashing "Lavender Volume Booster" magisk module

Update to latest Yuki kernel 24Apr. Let's see how it goes.
One question to developer. Do you have any telegram chat group?
I hope will supporting Note 7 and have regular update.
