Any working custom ROMs available for ZB450KL? - Asus Zenfone Go Questions & Answers

Hi, I have an old ZB450KL from 2017 that I left for another phone due to the battery dying and it being not fit anymore for my daily use. I recently just found it while spring cleaning and I intend to use it as a work-only phone after the replacement battery I ordered for it arrive.
I haven't found a single custom ROM designed specifically for the device. I assume it's due to the phone being not very popular as it's pretty weak as performance goes. However, it should work fine for me sending and receiving email and some WhatsApp. Not with the current ZenUI version installed on it though.
Has anybody found any custom ROMs that work or at least boot on the device? I don't need much, I mainly just need wifi + data to be working and a fairly recent version of Android. Everything else is a bonus.

[Q] Android on Diamond, which version to use? (specific help)

Hello every one.
I'm the proud user of a HTC Touch Diamond. It has served me well since day one, and now i want to make it even better.
I need the phone to work. And i need Android (read: want). So i'm asking everyone which version do you find more stable. What i need:
Phone. Must work. Must work well. Cannot wait 20 seconds for the device to wake up (while ringing) to show me who's calling me. When i decide to pick up, the other guy gives up, or the call os forwarded to voice mail.
Wifi is a must, that sim has no data plan.
Battery, though superficial due to a 2400mAh bat, it takes alot of calls and sms's.
Market. Must work.
Camera is a bonus, helps here and there.
The rest is rest. i don't need bluetooth, GPS, or anything like that. Anything from 2.1 forward is enough. So... i'm open to suggestions.
I did this same question of the kaiser section, and was greeted with 2 very stable versions. One Eclair and one Froyo.
froyo b ver 6
it is very stable
and the 3d performance is better than the old version

I'm getting 21FPS (diam100) and 20.2FPS (raph100) with NeoCore with no overclock and camera+camcoder works great
I'm currently using that one.
Though "snappy", its quite slow. Market is a pain. (Wifi)
Takes too much time to wakeup and show the screen (i actually have to unlock to see the screen).
Looking for something else maybe. 3D isn't a must.
I've got three different Android ROMs form different developers and the fastets and most stable ROM would be http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=907509
additions like camera or WiFi works fine for me.

Main phone or not?

Just a question to all the Kaiser users out there.
Do you use the Kaiser with only Android installed as your main phone?
Those that do, have you had any "bad" experiences while using the phone that are NOT caused by network discrepancies (i.e.: dropped calls, bad signal, etc.)?
I ask because I do use mine as my main form of communication on a daily basis, and I had my first dropped call today due to a hard lock. This is after almost a year of use, on the same phone, in different parts of the country with only a couple of days of non-use for screen replacement (scratched/damaged touchscreen).
I know we're all hanging on to old technology for different reasons, wether it be cost, availability, or that certain "wow" factor that comes from completely changing something that was never meant to be changed. I have become fond of my Kaisers for obvious reasons, but if I cannot trust it when I need it I may need to move on.
Thoughts?
I use it as the main phone . I dont have any problems except the camera and the WiFi . Hope to get it rectified soon though :/

Man, you still didn't manage to get WiFi to work ?
Dude my kernel !!
and because of exams i cant get that repaired !!
IDK if your kernel is the issue or not because the radio rom also has a lot to do with some aspects of the hardware controls (phone, wifi, audio, camera, etc.).
Other than checking your wifi.ko file with root explorer or some other text viewer, the only option is to change your rom. I have had a 99% success rate with my Kaiser using only Scoots kernel with 25mb of cache, the 8/29/11 rom from sourceforge and LauncherPro plus (from my personal stash). I have the kernel setting the clock to 500MHz on start up and I usually end up underclocking to 480 for a week or so to check stability against the previous weeks settings.
My camera works, my wifi works, bluetooth works, tethering/hot spot works, but video doesn't (not like I'll EVER use this thing for videos)...

Hi!
I use it as my main phone. After the imap push deactivation i hadn't got any hard lock.
But i use gmail sync, and sometimes i got a screen of death. But it's very very rare (maybe one in a month). I think if i didn't use anything thats related to 3G network, this lock up wouldn't appear.
This is my work phone so it must be stable. I'm satisfied with it.

[Q]Most Stable ROM for GrooveIP

Hi Guys,
bought 2nd HD2 for the sole purpose of using TMobile plan unlimited Data with 100mins.
Up till now ive change 4 Roms and always having problem with GrooveIP
Now im using MIUI based ROM, and still facing some..although not as much as any ROM with CM based.
What I experience:
-When receiving calls, i notice groove ip UI will come up first, and then stock phone ui will come 2nd. Most of the times when i pick up the call..no sound. When there is no sound...the only solution is to reboot the phone
My question is:
is it me not knowing how to set it up properly or Some of you have grooveip working flawlessly with a specific ROM.
Any advice would be much much apprciated. Thanks.

[Q] [P1000] Rom question

My question about my P1000:
I've used this device for 2 years now and yesterday I received my new phone (i9505).
The P1000 isn't going to leave, as I have changed my sim to a new dual sim card (for both devices... unfortunately one at a time...).
Now I want to install the P1000 into my car's dashboard, therefore I need another ROM, but there are so many to choose from!
I'm not asking for what is the BEST rom version, but:
I hope someone can tell me, what rom is the cleanest (least installed apps)... essentially I want only android (v?, what's the fastest and most stable version that Google had made so far?) and I want to use the play store, so I can install my bought apps... this to ensure nothing is installed that won't EVER be used... can anyone tell me, what ROM I can use best? (and what android version? 2.3 or 4, I know 3 is slow and the currently running 4.2 (nightly) isn't stable enough, yet...)
You can look for a forumer called RED ZMAN
http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=895291
He has his tab in his car dashboard.
I am sure he has some interesting input on what is ideal for car dashboard mounted tab.

[Q] Haven't flashed in a while, help please

I haven't updated my SCH-I800 in a while and I notice that there is now a stable "cm-9.1.0-p1c.zip" on the cyanogenmod site but also CM10 builds (cm-10-20130714-NIGHTLY-p1c.zip) as recently as last week. The forums for the I800 aren't up right now so I thought I'd ask here if these CM10s are actually functioning well or if they have lots of missing features. And as much as I dig, I seem to only find half working ROMs or extremely experimental ones that have basic things like WiFi missing. Is there a solid stock Samsung ROM and a solid AOSP ROM that everyone uses at this mater point in this tablet's lifespan?
And is there a new method for flashing at all? Or is ODIN still the way?
Thanks!!!

I have spent the last week or so trying to get an SCH-i800 to run something OTHER than the stock gingerbread well and just haven't found it yet. The closest I got was a build of CM9 but still have sporadic reboots.
It's frustrating since the only thing I want this to do is run some OBD apps for my car. The problem is that apps detect Gingerbread and run in phone mode vs. tablet mode, wasting a bunch of screen space.
Cubed has been pretty much the only non-stock rom that didn't have FC's and random reboots. I don't even use the cellular feature of this tablet - I'd be happy just disabling the modem entirely and running on wifi if it meant it being more stable.
I'm considering just getting a Nexus 7, but the problem is that this thing would need to live in my car and I don't feel like doing that with a new tablet which is why I was trying to get the i800 to work
