Welcome to Project Spaget X ARM64 Treble For Galaxy J530X/J730X/G610X/J701X/J710X
Some information you should know..
This is a full Treble ARM64 Vendor/Kernel implementation for the Exynos7870 Supported devices
If you want to report a Bug, read the F.A.Q First Then provide a logCat OR LoggingKit.zip with detailed explanation
Read the instructions and the F.A.Q Before installing the rom or posting a reply.
[FOR DEVS] You are allowed to customize this vendor if you want to use it in ROMs with proper credits. but not to distribute 1:1 copies
- Personal Notes
And here we are, few leaks and reworks later. X is here. i went with a letter this time just because it looks cool. This is officially going to be EOL for ARM64 AONLY vendors that i make (unless a critical bug was here that needed attention) . i dont have alot of time to work on 7870 And when i do i prefer it to be on something more productive than Treble
Anywya, TLDR : alot changed, alot was fixed. its a new vendor, flash and enjoy
Old releases
Alright, The "second" Treble update is here, this time it is FULLY ARM64 compatible. Thanks to the hard-work of @Astrako who managed to boot ARM64 Exynos 7885 bases on our device. This project is HEAVILY based on his work. and i would like to make that very clear. This is not a OneMan job. this took alot of hardwork by many people to make it reach the stage it is at. basically we are official minus the tag. This project is also possible thanks to my dear friends @Kique119 @me2 @SPARTANICUS and my other testers who spent day and night testing this with me.
At this stage, everything is mostly GSI related.
And finally, the cherry on top, is support for 3 more devices. Thanks to the devs who assisted me on adding support for their own devices. mentioned below.
If you appreciate this ambitious project, consider hitting thanks, supporting the thread, and donating (Paypal) to support my development (using cocaine of-course)
- Initial Notes:
Supports ONLY the mentioned devices Above
1. Don't forget to check bugs before asking questions
2. Since most of the GSIs are AOSP, forget about VoLTE, Knox features, Samsung apps, Camera mods or features, or other Samsung related features.
3. You can use any non-treble rom even if you have treble vendor installed, as long as you flash a non-treble kernel. The rom will ignore your vendor and everything will be as non treble.
- General Features :
- based on G965F Vendor with VNDK-28
- Adapted to J730/J530/G610/J710/J701 devices
- latest CronosKernelV5 included with most of the features of OneUI kernel + many more
- misc things enabled in framework overlay for better experience
- Seamless GSI patching, without user intervention
- Seamless setup process, with dynamic Scripts
- And Spaget
- How to Install Project Spaget:
- Flash `Exynos7870_CreateVendor` and reboot recovery
- Flash `Exynos7870_Spaget_X`
- Flash your desired ARM64_AONLY GSI
- Read OPTIONAL below
- What GSIs are support/recommended ?:
- Avoid sGSIs and flash source built GSIs (Such as PHH,PE)
- ARM64_AONLY GSIs only
- I recommend Pixel-experience or evo x and luke GSIs
- if you want a daily rom. avoid sGSIs
- More can be found here : Treble
- I dont have googleapps. what do i do ?:
ONLY for gsis that does not come with google apps
- Download Gapps pacakge from Here (ARM64 > VER > Micro or lower
- Go to TWRP > Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Tick System > Repair > Resize
- Flash opengapps_xxxx
- I need more info. where do i get it ?
Ask in this thread. if you need more , head to
Spaget Notes and support : Telegram Group
General bugs (GSI):
- offline charging is broken in Android 10 roms
- Bluetooth Calls
- Some GSIs might not include a camera, use Footej
- Some camera apps will have stretch
- I dont like it, how do i revert ?:
- Reboot to recovery
- Flash `Exynos7870_RevertVendor`
- Reboot recovery
- Flash any non treble rom or restore your previous twrp backup
Is that all ? I have treble now ? what about all the complicate process before ?
Yes, you now have a project treble device, ready to flash any GSI/sGSI of your choice aslong as it fits in your SYSTEM partition.
The entire process changed and now is much more seamless and noob-friendly. yet take caution as always
What if i didn't boot ?
In some cases, you might be stuck at a bootanimation loop or a splash loop, in this case follow the troubleshooting steps in the F.A.Q post

OldPost (a64)---
So, i have been hesitated to release this project since last year. GSIs are not the most stable and many J users prove they are unable to read. they just want ready stuff. with this project that is not the case. if you skip the instructions/F.A.Qs and notes, dont bother installing this project as you probably wont be able to get it running.
This is a fully featured VENDOR and KERNEL designed for this device to support project treble, it is based on other Exynos 7870 Vendors and modified to support our devices, i have also added few patches and updates that even official 7870 vendors do not have. to get the best possible experience
I have also added a GSI_PATCH zip that should be used if you want to have the least amount of bugs.
The vendor is pretty much bugles, therefore any bugs you face, Report them to the appropriate Threads of the GSI you installed. or github issues section. as those are not mine to fix. i only provide the vendor and kernel that allows GSIs to run on.
- STEPS FOR INSTALLING TREBLE VENDOR:
Flash “Treble_Jx30F.img” in TWRP as Image (Selecting RECOVERY)
Reboot recovery.
Wipe System, Data, Dalvik and Vendor.
Flash "jxy17lte_Vendor_9.0_v1.0.zip".
- STEPS FOR INSTALLING GSIs:
Download the desired GSI (it MUST be arm_binder64/A64 Variant)
unpack it if it wasn't in .IMG format
Go to TWRP , Install , Install IMAGE
Pick your GSI and select SYSTEM IMAGE
Flash "GSI_Patch.zip".
[OPTIONAL] Flash the “Gapps_patched.zip”
- STEPS FOR INSTALLING GAPPS:
If you flash Gapps, Google will spam you with fullscreen warnings and notifications about your device not being certified. But don't worry, you can certify it.
Just reach the homescreen, then proceed to install the "Device ID.apk". Use it to grab the Google Services Framework ID and paste it here: https://www.google.com/android/uncertified/
And paste the ID there. Then wait a few minutes and reboot. Few seconds after rebooting, you'll be done and you'll be able to normally log in as always.
- [OPTIONAL]STEPS FOR INSTALLING Magisk_GAPPS:
** Note : This gapps is recommended for all **
Download latest gapps from http://opengapps.org
place in /sdcard or /external_sd
flash magisk.zip
flash magiskgapps.zip
- Confirmed working GSIs :
** You can only use ARM_BINDER64 / A64 GSIs **
PHH AOSP V113 : Github
OmniROM GSI : XDA
Liquid Remix : GoogleDrive
Pixel Experience With Gapps : GitHub
Resurrection Remix : RR
XenonHD : TeamHorizon
P.S : only Omni and PHH Do not require the GSI_PATCH_FP The rest do in order to get Fingerprint working
- Known GSI Bugs:
Bluetooth calls are broken
Some 3rd party cameras have stretched pictures
And more here at Github Issue

Changes over the A64 vendor are massive. it is very recommended to re-read this thread one more time.
- Initial Notes:
Supports ONLY the mentioned devices Above
1. Don't forget to check bugs before questions
4. No other kernel supports treble now, don't try to flash/boot with others unless they specifically mention that the kernel supports treble or you will drastically fail.
5. The CreateVendor will reduce your system size by 150MB. so keep that in mind
6. Backup all your files and revert any partition changes done to the phone (see f.a.q)
7. Android Q GSIs are supported and boo-table, however contain too much unfixable bugs at the moment. so patience

Try a different gsi please. the no os installed happens after you wipe system and flash an image.
lineage and rr gsis are not tested, and they dont work right last time i checked.
try Pixel experience , evo x , havoc etc..

Edit: Can I have arm64 on Redmi 6 too?
Edit 2: Has anyone tested in for both devices?

If yes, do I flash the arm64 vendor, or do I just flash the ROM?

Ok, so I flashed the ROM and it's working good, but there are some bugs.
I'm on Redmi 6 btw.
1. The fingerprint doesn't work
2. Performance issues
3. DT2W (double tap to wake) doesn't work (on Redmi 6)
I couldn't flash this ROM on 6A. I am getting something like Error 255
I was on Lineage 17.1 circa 2020_07... and flashing the 64bit vendor bootlooped the phone, so I have to get back to stock miui_HM6A_V10.4.4.0 - Agh!
I am restoring my Lineage 17.1 now, but what did I do wrong?
Does it work going from Lineage or custom Android 10 ROMs or one need to flash from stock MIUI?
P.S. Is this ROM ARM64 Android 11?

Did you flash Alps vendor before the ROM?
It's like this = flash vendor, ROM, gapps, Magisk.
If you don't do it like that, your phone won't boot to system.
Edit: It's arm64 Android 12.
Well, I managed to install after going to MIUI 10.4.4 and upgrading to MIUI 11.0.5. My take that first time around I didn't wipe clean enough partitions before flashing...
Anyway, What GApps are you using? I couldn't flash OpenGApps, so I ended up using BitGApps
The biggest problem that I am experiencing is after reboot my phone goes into Airplane mode and after a while it stops seeing my SIM card alltogether.
Also I totally lost ability to make phone calls at some point (data works fine). I am on AT&T so it is 1800GSM/LTE/VolTE - I tried different dialers, but I figure it has to do more with phone stack not quite working... Any ideas?
Clearly, the ROM is not ready yet for daily use. How do I flash Lineage 17.1 when I had to flash 64-bit vendor?
***
Finally couple more notes:
When phone throttles past 900MHz energy saving mode (like when you do almost anything outside of music player), Bluetooth or music playback cannot keep up.
Antutu Lite v9.3.2 crashes, so I couldn't benchmark what is the improvement of going to 64-bit Android and Vulcan...
Antutu finally run and benchmarked as follows 22,838 CPU /5274 GPU /20,773 MEM/34,588 UX for a total of 83,473... For reference MIUI 11.0.5 benchmarked 22,339/8,990/22,387/29,876=83,583 ... So Vulcan implementation made GPU benchmark from poor to even worse and 64-bit vs. 32-bit doesn't make much difference.
This ROM still fails "Pokemon Go test" - phone was too weak for Pokemon with Lineage 17.1... on Android 12 it seems unable to get GPS signal

Hi, I'm going to guide you.
1. Unlock your bootloaded (you've probably done that)
2. Judging by your MIUI version, you have Redmi 6A and you have to downgrade - download a stock MIUI ROM here: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/archive/miui/cactus/
The version you're looking for is this:
Redmi 6A GlobalStableFastbootV11.0.8.0.PCBMIXM9.01.8 GB2020-05-09
After you've downloaded it, extract the package. After you extract the first one, there's another one, which needs to be extracted too. The path to the file could be too long resulting in an error, so rename the long folders to like stockROM or something like that.
Now open (or download: https://www.xiaomiflash.com/downloads/MiFlash20181115.zip) MiFlash, find the ROM path, and click Ok. At the bottom right, you'll see 3 buttons. Select "Flash all" (wipes your data).
Now reboot your phone into fastboot mode - hold power and volume down buttons.
Plug your phone into your PC and click Refresh. When you see your device, click on Flash.
This process will take about 200 - 300 seconds.
3. Download the ROM, arm64 vendor, NikGapps (https://sourceforge.net/projects/ni...s-basic-arm64-12-20220222-signed.zip/download) and Magisk (https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/download/v24.3/Magisk-v24.3.apk) (rename the extension from .apk to .zip)
4. Download TWRP here: https://dl.twrp.me/cactus/twrp-3.6.1_9-0-cactus.img
5. After you've downloaded everything, boot your phone into fastboot again and plug it into your PC.
6. Open cmd and navigate to the folder you have fastboot and type "fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.6.1_9-0-cactus.img" after thats done, type "fastboot reboot". Now keep holding volume up untill the recovery boots up.
7. Copy the ROM, gapps and vendor to your phone via explorer
8. On TWRP go to Wipe -> Advanced wipe -> select Dalvik / ART Cache, System, Data, Cache -> Swipe to wipe
9. Now click on the home button (the middle one) and then Install.
10. Firstly, install the vendor -> ROM -> Gapps -> Magisk.
11. Reboot system and enjoy.
If anything fails, reply.

Hi, Edit: install 11.0.8.0 if you're in Redmi 6A and 11.0.4.0 on Redmi 6.
I think I used NikGapps (https://sourceforge.net/projects/ni...s-basic-arm64-12-20220222-signed.zip/download).
I don't know if you can flash Lineage with the custom vendor. I recommend reinstalling MIUI (via MiFlash) and installing Lineage like you did. That also means your data are gonna get wiped.
I think that Android 12 is too much for Redmi 6/6A. Let's just stick with what our phones can handle. I think that Lineage 17.1 is the best and fastest ROM so far.

Hi, here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-unofficial-lineage-os-17-1.4252115/
Rich (BB code):
I am not responsible for bricking any of your devices.
This is a warning that I have not tested some of the ROMs in this thread, and they have a chance of risking your device.
It's my responsibility to put these GSIs for the forum,
but also your responsibility to flash them and risk bricking your device.
Help the forum by replying with a update on this thread if you could get any of these GSIs to boot, if you want.
!!! I WILL NOT TEST ANY GSIs ANYMORE IN THIS THREAD !!!
I will continue adding GSIs to the thread, but it will be your responsibility to
flash them and risking bricking your device.
Anyone can help by flashing them and posting a update.
Nippon GSIs do not boot, either they will boot to fastboot, bootloop or get stuck at the logo.
I always recheck the GSIs before adding them, but be aware, not all of the GSIs are compatible. If you test any of them and you couldn't boot it, please leave a reply about it.
Probably since this thread was created, all of the GSIs are outdated, but are stable and should boot fine.
If you want to look for a update please request it and I'll try looking for the most recent version.
You can also suggest a GSI or port.
XIAOMI.EU DEVELOPERS WILL SUPPORT MEDIATEK DEVICES IF WE SHOW OUR SUPPORT!Even though, and sadly, both of the devices of this forum do not have alot of recognition for modding... we just need to hope that we atleast get MTK support by xiaomi.eu, and if one day it happens even getting their ROMs to us.

First off, obviously follow this guide to flash a GSI.
Currently, the best and recommended GSI for both the POCO M3 Pro and Redmi Note 10 5G are the PHH GSI by @phhusson, LineageOS by @AndyYan and Pixel Experience 12 by @ponces. But don't worry, if you do not prefer these ROMs, I am keeping this thread updated whenever I can find GSIs for both of the devices in this forum.
Here's the recommended GSIs

Please do not apply the update on your device. You shouldn't worry about automatic updates, as I am pretty sure they don't exist in this system image.Applying the update gives you a mission to not turn off or restart your phone.Applying the update and restarting your device, either the POCO M3 Pro 5g or Redmi Note 10 5G, will soft-brick it, booting everytime to MIUI recovery. The only way to recover it is by reflashing the v414 update. DO NOT reflash v415 and above. v415 & above relate issues to not booting on MTK.Thanks skm_1 for the first warning.

Do not flash pre-release version! You might encounter perfomance issues. On my using of Pixel Experience Plus (the above one recommended) had a worse perfomance than MIUI, asides the aggressive app killing that MIUI includes. Just as wetito said here, use AOSP version 414 for now.

I had an extremely bad time just there with the July update of Pixel Experience Plus; my M3 Pro 5G went into a POCO/MIUI Recovery loop. Took me 15 minutes to get it back into fastboot mode and I'm not even sure what I did differently in terms of holding the usual buttons down to reboot it. I flashed the June update back on and it's back to normal now.

I was about to update my redmi with PE too. I dont know if I do it. Thankfully you just had a soft brick, which means a bootloop.
The reason why you couldn't get to fastboot easiliy is probably because of it bootlooping and couldn't get the moment there to boot to fastboot, if I am sure.
Btw, thanks for telling us about it
install and test pphusson gsi on your device before other gsi version, is highly recomended

Thats the unnofficial GSI, and I can't seem to find the lastest release, I apologise.
The official one is before the android 12 release, so whoever still has android 11 with MIUI 12 could boot it with no problems.

Tried it again just now using an abbreviated procedure suggested in another thread:
fastboot reboot fastboot
fastboot set_active a
fastboot flash system PixelExperience_Plus_arm64-ab-12.1-20220722-UNOFFICIAL.img
fastboot reboot
i.e. no "delete-logical-partition product" or "erase system". Result was still the MIUI Recovery boot loop. Luckily I made a much better job this time of getting the phone back into fastboot mode and was able to flash 20220613 back onto it.

Patch the MIUI 13 or 12.X (if you used MIUI 13 before the GSI installation, extract the boot.img and patch it, same for MIUI 12.X) with ZArchiver.w
Now, if I do remember the steps, download the MIUI rom, extract it to a folder with ZArchiver, find "boot.img", copy and paste it somewhere on your phone.
Install Magisk apk, and use "Select and patch a file", put your extracted boot.img, then let it flash.
Now move the magisk patched boot.img to your fastboot folder in your computer and do the same steps in the guide, and be sure to have and flash vbmeta.img otherwise you might boot with dm-verity corruption.
https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/wiki/Generic-System-Image-(GSI)-list
for skm: i flashed many gsi with zero bootloops. i have rooted and unrooted my phone with zero bootloops. i'm sure you dont follow the guide step by step. post screenshoots with: your device model, stock rom and bootloader status, magisk status. with these informations maybe i could help you

Is working flawlessly so far. Thanks!
But I would suggest linking the Lineage OS install Guide or update your instructions to be a little bit more detailed
Can it be installed in the 2022 version?

I don't think so, the 2022 Edition uses a Qualcomm processor instead of an Exynos.
But besides this they seem to be identical, maybe it's not to hard to make compatible version
Updated flawless from crDroid 8.11 to 9 with crDroid recovery, flashed the files from micro SD-card.
I suggest to change the link in flashing instruction to Mindthegapps.
Opengapps is not up-to-date with Gapps for Android 13.

i used the built-in recovery in crDroid 8.11 ( A 12.1). With advanced power menu i rebooted to recovery, did a full wipe and flashed crDroid 9 and Gapps. It only took me 3 minutes to change from Android 12.1 to 13.

when will you port blissrom to tab s6 lite
Is it just me or does rotation lock not work? Things will always go back to portrait mode when auto-rotate is disabled.
Edit - works after rebooting, but only until the screen is shut off again. The setting will not hold between powering the screen off/on. Very annoying.
what gapps version do you use ? no worries found it, nikgapps.
I am a little confused so hoping to get some clarifications, thanks in advance.
1. I am on lineageos 19.1(official build), so I guess I can install the crDroid recovery first, then install the crDroid ROM?
2. the gapps link in the "pre-installaton" section opens "https://opengapps.org/", but above response says it is nikgapps, so which one to use, also if opengapps, there is no version for android 12? and which variant? if nikgapps, which one to download from here(https://nikgapps.com/downloads#downloads)?
3. Is Magisk mandatory?
Thanks.

Thank you! I was able to install smoothly. I install mindthegapps for android 13.
Though somehow even I sideloaded magisk but it is no where to be found, I guess it is ok.
Another thing is, google sent me two emails
- first email saying "new sign-in to your Google Account on a Huawei Nexus 6P device"
- second email saying "welcome to your new Pixel 5"
Not sure if this is normal.

install the magisk app and the emails are just verifying your device which is usually spoofed as a different device mine comes up as a nexus 6p
Just noticed there is no fast charging after installing this ROM.
I enabled fast charging in battery settings, and the power brick+usb c cable work on my pixel 6 phone as fast charging, but it shows "charging slowly" on my S6 lite.
Using Samsung fast charging brick came with S10 is same, charging slowly.

Hi, I saw orangefox only released up to 11 version on their server, so can I use the 12.1 PE recovery on the pixelexperience server? I'm now on rui1 rom.

As clearly mentioned in the flashing instructions, u can use either ofox or PE recovery.
Ofox recovery is available in realme 5 Pro release channel (t.me/Realme5Pro_Downloads) , u can get it if u want.
Hi kssrao13882,
Thank you very much for your efforts!
I went to the official PE website to look for Andoid 13 updates and noticed there is no maintainer shown for the RMX1971 device, which made me fear the worst. Now I've found you build, but I have a question about it. I am on official PE A12L and if I manually flash your unofficial PE A13 build now, will there be an easy clean upgrade path to the official PE A13 (provided such one ever appears)?

If at all official build is released, u must have to clean flash the first official build. There after u can do ota. Shouldn't be any issues whatsoever.

Hi,
I have now installed your unofficial PE+ A13 build. It works really well. Thanks for your work!
So far I have only found one issue, but this is a really weird one.
Sometimes I want to transfer one or two photos I took with my RMX1971 to my Windows computer and out of convenience I just use the Bluetooth send/receive file feature (i.e. share via Bluetooth) for that. However, when using BT file transfer in this Android version the GPS data in the jpg files surprisingly gets replaced by zeros! To rule out Microsoft Windows on the computer side I did the same type of BT file transfer from another Android phone and the GPS data remained intact.
Is this a new "feature" of Android 13 and, if yes, is there a way to disable it?

I'm still on official PE 12 , but I would like to update to 13.., any news on this? Would this unofficial work be continued? Is it stable enough for a daily ROM?
As for your last question, I've been using this unofficial PE 13 build for three months already and I feel it's been working even better than the last official PE 12 build.
