Step one: Install Windows on it.
Step two: If it's XP then Install Activesync 4.5.
All done now the world can start moving again...
Or do what ^that guy said

Yes, same here. Works perfect. Syncs with Address book and calendar.
For more advanced (like TomTom home) functions I installed VMware Fusion with Windows XP vpc and then installed activesync.
Thanks Guys
Tks Guys tried Missing sync keeps crashing when transferring contacts...
Sync mate seems to be the better more stable so far...
Thanks for your help....

Hi,
I am using a java mail client which handles encrypted mails. Its a bit slow so I wonder which ROM is supposed to have the best java performance or if there is a way to improve the java performance of my Dutty WM 6.5 R9 ROM by installing another JVM?
BR, Jens
It seems that you are already using the fastest (in general) JVM, that is JBed build 2009XXXXX. There is not much you can do...
Hello there!
I wonder if someone will continue the Fatsals(i think) work on X1 Ubuntu.
That was great idea, it worked smoothly, WiFi worked(first we had to launch it from WM). But this isn't enough.
How about connecting to PC? How about using 3G to connect the internet. How about installing apps on this, how about other stuff?
If someone could continue it, i'd definitly donate!
Could somebody test this?

It is old and discontinued. There is also a lot of bugs. And there isn't many apps.
Since my old touch pro phone only can be controlled with the keyboard i was wondering if i could make a small webserver with it.
If possible i would also use the camera on the phone as a security cam. wich can be viewed from the webserver.
I know it works on linux but i don`t know if linux wil run in that way on the phone
By Linux on the phone I assume you're referring to Android. Last I checked there were no camera drivers for Android on the Touch Pro.
However, a quick Google and I've found http://www.ateksoft.com/ for WinMo. I have no idea how good it is as I've never used it myself and it's not a free product, but it might be something to check out.
If you do try it out post back and let us know what it's like.
you mean it works with linux?

i've used rhobuntu before
its great and definitely works
webserver should work too, but donno if it will work well given the speed of the device...
I use FtpCE. It's a very cool and very simple ftp client. Just search for it, there's a thread at xda. You can try VIO for the security camera.
server
This is good idea
there is a small webserver with a subset of php too for windows mobile.

it is just a little bit old.
Can we gather tips on native hypervisor VM running Windows apps on this?
