Hi all,
Saw the QPST tool mentioned in a TG thread, so tried so seek out these elusive .hex files, seems they're almost impossible to find.
By all accounts if we had these firmwares which are specifically made to work with the QPST tool then we would essentially be able to unbrick via EDL.
If anyone somehow comes by these files then please retain them and share so we can do what we've always done and save our devices, perhaps then we could push the envelope on development for this device.
I've tried their site, all they have are OFP files... it is an extremely long shot but you never know.
Cheers

I want to be able to flash the KIES firmware trough odin. I allready managed to download GT-I9000_I9000XWJPA_I9000XENJP2_I9000XXJPP_I9000XWJPA_XW_XEN.zip.enc This is the firmware I installed trough kies and is currently on my phone. I want to create Odin separate file package in case I **** something up I can always return to my original firmware. Could someone provide the decryption code for http://fus.samsungmobile.com/Phone_...00XENJP2_I9000XXJPP_I9000XWJPA_XW_XEN.zip.enc . Many thanks in advance!
If you have upgraded via Kies you might be able to find the unecrypted rom in a temp directory of your computer.
Orcie keep me posted on your findings?
I already posted a Odin flashable JPA rom.
It is the same as the one from Kies, but it has been converted to a mid package to allow flashing with Odin.

GT-I9000_I9000XWJPA_I9000XXJPP_CODE-MODEM_OSP-MID
Allready spotted that. Have the code now 55625. Richthoven how do you convert from single file to mid level package? I can tell what files need to go where but it seems that I need something extra?
How can I revert my LG 2X back to stock? Currently running CM10 with the new bootloader. I have found multiple threads about this but I'm afraid to brick my phone because there all outdated.
Can someone provide me with a step-by-step guide thats more up-to-date?
Thanks very much.
Well you won't get that kind of guide, cuz only small part of users still using p990 (my guess) got back to stock, so all the guides are a bit outdated but shouldn't brick your device. Saying it short, use the old guides

Easy method:
Use smartflash to install an old baseband like 20S. Then use LG update tool to flash the latest stock for your region. Alternate, use AIO tool to flash both baseband and stock. You will need to download .kdz file and extract it to fls and bin file in AIO tool prior to flashing. Fls are baseband and bin are the rom
I cannot seem to find a guide to updating to the new PE baseband & bootloader. The guides are so fragmented and basically say "Here are the downloads, look for guides about Odin elsewhere...."
Anyone got a link to a guide that tells all, from start to finish? Download this, download this version of Odin, extract these files from this file, put this file in this section of Odin, this file in that. Hit this button, wait until this happens...?
I know it's simple for some but for me, I've destroyed two phones with Odin and don't want to do another....
I'm pretty sure this is what you're looking for

Hello everyone!
I have a little problem
I bought a galaxy tab 8 but it didn't work, it's the SM-t350 model
I bought it very cheap so I decided to invest in a new logic board, bought a second hand one and installed it
This is where my problems started, my tablet is the Sm-T350 model, now in system information it says it is SM-P350
The logic board is the same for both versions but it has some changes
Is there a way to remove the rom from P350 and put the rom from T350?
I already tried with Odin but it gives me errors, I could force flashing with other tools but I am afraid of bricking it and since it does not detect the home button I could not put it in dowload mode again
Has anyone had this problem before? What do you recommend me to do
Do you think it does not detect the home button because it does not have the correct firmware?

You can buy a USBjig for Samsung devices pretty cheap, I bought one for $3 USD including shipping on eBay. It is a device that automatically boots Samsung devices into download mode.
Then, you can extract the two different firmware files(T350 and P350) into separate folders, then take the system.img from the T350 firmware and put it into the P350 firmware to replace the system.img that is in the P350 firmware, then compress the contents back into a .tar or .tar.md5 file and then flash that via Odin. If that doesn't work, you will have to start a process of trial and error experimenting with trying different mixtures of the files with the two different firmware files. You may be able to extract just the system.img by itself from the T350 then convert it into an Odin flashable .tar or .tar.md5 and flash that .img by itself. Or, you might only need to extract the stock kernel from the T350, convert it into an Odin flashable .tar or .tar.md5 file and flash that via Odin.
Either way, there should be a piece, part or combination of the two firmware files that should fix your issue. You may need to take some more time to research what I'm explaining and some experimentation to find the correct mixture of what you need.

Hi,
I have a Galaxy A6 (A600FN) that I want to upgrade/convert to an A600P to be able to test some third party software. From what I can tell the hardware on the two devices is the same so is it possible to use the A600P firmware to convert the A600FN?
I have just tried one of the patched versions of ODIN and that gives me an error with regards to could not repartition the device. Do I just need to obtain the A600P PIT file or is this something that is just not possible?
Thanks for any advice

You can try to use tool like ClassyKitchen to make any stock firmware flashable through custom recovery.
