I Flashed Mi 6x rom in my Mi a2. I dont know what happened.
The camera was staying black screen. I flash stock rom to fix. But come problem. The stock rom not fix the issue.
I discovered all my sensors no enable.
How to fix this? What i can do?
I have this problem now. Did you ever find a solution?
If you are allready converted to 6X and have TWRP do this:
-boot to TWRP
-connect your phone to PC and copy persist.img from stock MIUI 9 ROM used to convert to A2 to 6X
-In TWRP go to Install, then Intall Image, navigate to your persist.img and Select Partition to Flash Image: Persist
-After flash, reboot to System and now your all sensors should work
I have attached persist.img so You can use this one...

Is fingerprint fast as original? Because I convert a2 to 6x but the fingerprint sensor was very slow.
FP sensor is working perfectly, precise, fast, face unlock instantly also. I am curently on MIUI 10 latest from xiaomi.eu and everything is fast and fluid.
Thank you i think it worked.

Guys, I can't solve the problem using this method with Mi 6x on MIUI 11, it only works on MIUI 10. I searched persist.img on rom MIUI 11 beta but I couldn't find it. How do I solve this problem using MIUI 11?

after i got miui 10 i sticked with it until miui 11 was launched, i just upgraded it and all still worked good!!! now im currently using pixelexperience 10, all is still good, i never again touched the persist
I am also using Pixel Experience 10 and I am no longer with this problem. PE already comes with API2 enabled, so I don't think it corrupts the persist partition.
Can anyone help me with the stock recovery image please?
Which rom are you using? Stock but version number?
You can get full factory images from Xiaomi website. For example, here is the link for Global EEA:
https://c.mi.com/thread-2459743-1-0.html
You will have 2 versions: the ".zip" and the ".tar.gz" (which is often bigger)
Take the ".tar.gz" version and uncompress it: you will find inside a "recovery.img" file which can be flashed by fastboot or TWRP.
However, like nakulp means, you should take care. In my case, I wanted to apply recent OTA update Global EEA 10.3.4 for 10.3.3. As I had TWRP recovery, I needed to replace it by original recovery and the image I got was from 10.3.1: it resulted in a black screen on recovery start. Only the "recovery.img" from 10.3.3 worked fine. This image seems to work fine also on 10.3.4.
Thanks man appreciate your help now i am on MiUi 11.0.2.0 stable based on android 10 which is really good and bloatware free
Its working smoothly
Hi, my recovery doesn't boot up, I only have fastboot mode, can someone publish the stock recovery image if you have it, i don't find it... it would be so cool, thank you everyone

Download a fastboot ROM and extract the recovery.img file. There's lots of links to fastboot ROMs on these forums.

Download recovery/zip or fastboot/tgz firmware and extract recovery.img
tgz = tar, gzip hence must be un-gzipped and un-tarred.
7-zip on PC or MiXPlorer on the phone

You can just update your custom recovery in that case and then flash MIUI 12.0.4.0

Pls instead of asking take your own time to browse, study and learn how to use their repository
- First you must know what is the version you are looking for, is it e.g. v12.0.4.0 QFKINXM or which one
- Use their Search box to find it
- Look for the type Recovery, not Fastboot (you were asking for recovery)
- Click to Download (what else), and on the new screen download either Full ROM (full OTA) or Incremental update (incremental OTA from the previous version) - again Recovery/zip file

OMG - please try things yourself or use your froend google to learn things
If not in recovery/zip firmware then download fastboot/tgz, extract (un-gzip, un-tar) to tind recovery.img there
I am using Redmi Note 10S and in my device's fastboot rom file, there is no any recovery.img file. I have done the extraction process of .tgz file lots of time, but after all I did not get any recovery.img file in fastboot rom file. So can anyone help me that how can I get my stock recovery image file?? My device is not rooted.
Hi everyone! I'm trying to backup my stock rom after unlocking bootloader and flashing an official TWRP build (which I didn't save it to system on the first prompt because I didn't want a dirty recovery partition for obvious reasons, and now can't at all get that screen to appear again, no matter how many times I reflash the TWRP or delete its files from internal memory), but there is no /system/ partition (and never was from the first TWRP boot), only System Image.
Is it how it looks on 9T PRO or is something wrong with mine? I can't seem to find anything about it on the internet.
PS after backuping all other partitions, I was able to flash Magisk w/o problem by unchecking read-only in Mount (even multiple times, because I prefer its older version - newest one had problems with allowing root permissions to apps).
I hope some expert addresses you, but I think flashing stock rom would install the system partition

It might, but the rom I'm on is working perfectly fine and I would love to know if there will be a possibility to backup it at all, or am I destined to wipe and flash another rom when something goes wrong

I got the same problem. I wanted to backup my data so I can restore it if anything goes wrong sometime.
Dont I have to Backup: Boot, System and Data to restore it.
So as mentioned above there is no entry like "System".
Or is it included in "Data"?
I"m on TWRP 3.3.1-22 on my xiaomi mi 9t pro
System image is same as system as far as I know

System image means a 1:1 dump, without image means only used space will be archived.

Yes, format data, reboot again to recovery, copy the EU rom into internal storage and flash it, mind you EU rom will replace Orangefox with twrp

After trying out two custom roms and running into little bugs that make me pretty nervous, I thought about going back to the official MIUI 12 global.
Is it possible or is there a possibility of brick? It would be enough to put the rom and the vendor and flash them from twrp, making the corresponding wipes?
Do I need the vendor or just the rom is enough?
It won't brick you just have to format data going to and from custom rom and miui with encrypted storage (not using dfe) or your data will be encrypted. Then just wipe the partions and move miui rom to phone from PC and flash, miui has vendor included in the rom
May do a fastboot flash with clean all. Careful not to lock your bootloader.
