Hello,
For some time I have been facing some problems on my device, OnePlus 10 Pro (NE2215). I don't know if this is a default behavior of the device or if it could be some configuration.
Case 1:
For example: When I open the AliExpress application, search for an item, click on one and return with the gesture, it should return to my search, but it turns out that it returns to the AliExpress homepage. This is too bad, because I always have to perform the search again. I don't know if I made myself clear, but this problem doesn't happen on my girlfriend's Iphone. When I go back a step, it always goes back to the previous one and not to the first operation I did.
Obs1: I attached the prints of the transitions so that it is clearer to understand.

Case 2:
In addition, whenever I do that command to view how many applications I have open and I select the application I want to use, the software always reloads the application and does not keep it where it was. A good example for this case is when I open the bank application and access the credit card session, for example. When I leave the app open in the background, I open some other app and go back to the bank app again, it reloads the app and goes back to accessing the app. It doesn't keep the app loaded in the session where I was.
Obs2: I didn't put pictures, but I believe it was clear what happens.
#2 I know has been discussed here previously. This phone has an aggressive RAM cleaning and does not like background apps. You can actually make it store more if you add the swap, i.e. give your phone the "additional" 8GB of RAM in settings from storage. But this is only a bandaid solution. Iirc you can slso change some SeLinux permissions to alleviate the issue if you're savy.
#1, idk. I've had some unique behaviors myself on OOS. For example the Dasher app is absolutely terrible.

Just another application for unlocking your phone
Right now this is only a simple application and will not work as a screen locker.
If someone knows how to make your own application as a device locker i would appreciate the help. If Someone wants to continue the development of this application i'm glad to supply the source code for free.
This is my first application for a windows mobile device so i hope you like it.
Here are some images of this simple application:

Instructions on how to use this application:
This program should use a file to read the preferences, however i've had some problems with it, so as default there is a combination.
What is the diference between this application and the other fake fingerprint scanners?
Instead of pressing the screen for a determinate number of scans, you need to guess the combination.
What is a combination?
In this program basically you obtain an combination by pressing then leaving and then pressing again.
Everytime the scan bar hits the top of the "box" one of the counters increments, if you press for the correct amount of scans, then one of the numbers at the bottom will be the result and the next starts to increment.´
You have about two scans of time to press the screen again, else the program will analyse your combination, returning the message:
access denied or by simply leaving the application.
The default value for the combination at this moment is 5-5 meaning 5 scans stop pressing the screen and then 5 more scans.
If you have any questions post them, as will be glad to answer as soon as possible.
Owner of an S4A and I love the phone, it convinced me to leave iphone for good.... until now. I recently installed a new head unit in my truck a Sony XAV-601bt, and when the bluetooth audio connects it asks to complete some action but i don't know what it is. No matter what i do music calls etc work fine on the head unit but for some reason my phone forgets the default launcher (nova launcher) and default music player (rocket) and default SMS app (gosms). I've exhausted google search looking for anything that resets app defaults and only found app managers etc, and i've not found anything related to the radio.
My question is this is there a way to find out what action is being executed so that I can find the correct app for it? I'm thinking that without that action it's causing strangeness with the rest of the phone
here is the screen i get when the phone pairs to the head unit

You need 25 posts before you can post pics or links on XDA. My S4A works fine with my Sony head unit on my Harley. The first time it connected it asked if it could access my contacts. If you somehow skipped that step that might be your problem. You also mentioned what you say are default apps, but those sound like the names of non-stock apps. You may have set them as the defaults, but they may not work properly with other devices expecting to interface with the apps as the phone came from Samsung.
Notification: "Allow the WAP Push application to receive messages..." What to do??
I don't understand what this is all about. I just got this phone last week, and ever since it was up and running, including first boot (if I recall correctly), I've had this cell-tower-like icon in my upper left corner. Always. Swiping down from the top reveals the following notice, and I'm given the chance to allow or deny.

Googling the content of this notice doesn't yield anything very informative, so I have a few questions:
1.) Is this coming from some app that can be disabled or uninstalled if I choose? Or is it part of the Android Oreo OS itself?
2.) What does it do if I allow it? Might it be useful or just some kind of spam?
If it's relevant, this phone was the international version, with the firmware probably Chinese (but of course I switched the language to English). Thanks for any info/help!

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
WAP push allows photos, URL links, wallpaper, ringtones, etc etc, to be directly embeded into SMS messages, so long as the sending server has it enabled.
It's an effort to bring SMS up to the speed of instant messaging, although it's probably a bit too late to catch up. Enabling it doesn't mean it'll work either, it has to be enabled with your service provider also.
I have mine disabled, effected nothing.
Theres quite a good explanation on StackOverflow
On my S21 Ultra, I'm showing to be 98% full. when I go to look at storage, I see this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
As you can see, nothing much is showing up as using that memory other than the "Other" area. How can I dig down into the "Other" area and see what's there that I can get rid of?
In the event that it makes a difference, the model number is SM-998U1; Android version 12; One UI versoin 4.0; Security patch level is Nov. 1, 2021.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Just about any File Explorer in Play Store will assist in identifying the files.
Porn...guaranteed you have filled up your phone with porn
You got porn brain 4 sure!
Possibly items in secure folder. Let's say you have an app like telegram app in secure folder and it has been saving 100s of videos.
LOL!
Actually, I've used a couple of file managers, and I can see what's there, but it doesn't seem to add up. What I'd really like is a tool that would show me intalled apps, along with the amount of storage they're using, including their data and cache values.
Settings
Apps
Change sort order (Your apps .............. (sort icon))
Size
Lists apps in size order with size underneath. The size shown includes data/cache.
For example, my first one is Spotify 2.41GB which is mostly cache data as it keeps some songs on device
Thanks for that. I'll keep it in mind for later. Last night, I finally threw up my hands and factory reset my phone. I figure it'll take me about a week to get MOST of the things back the way I like them. In the meantime however, my storage is MUCH better than it was.
Hello there.
I am still rather new to android but understand some things. For example, I have note 10 pro with Arrow OS installed on it. Wanted it for privacy (thanks xioami, had to give them all details to unlock bootloader, woops) and get rid of bloat.
I have noticed on my last charge that microg services seem to be running. Which seems odd to me as I have disabled it (from settings app), and don't have many apps which need it. (ones which do are disabled also)
So my question is, what could be cause for it using 33℅ battery?! And where can I get further logs to understand what's going on.
If I'm running 33℅ on service I don't use, then that could be extra day or 2 for me not charging.
Pictures for reference

Here's just showing its run as a background app.
Sorry for noob first question, with full ambiguity. Please be gentle
I have come to realise that I may have disabled it, but I have rebooted my phone a few times so it probably would re-enable.
Question still stands, can I get further logs to understand why its using 33%? Thanks
Try investigate further with betterbatterystats (grab it from xda or play store). Grant any permissions that requires (root isn't mandatory). In my old experience with microg, it might be caused by the cloud messaging service, try to increase the ping intervals to 10 minutes or greater. But your case might different.
