Please Help on Sound issues for PDA2K - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 Software Upgrading

recently i've installed the mamaiche finall .33 and the new radio 12.
and also all the needed cab files, but i noticed that the sound is relatively worse than before, media files like mp3s and waves work good on the media player 10 BUT the sound is like a bit static or something, the sound is extremly bad.
does anyone have a related issue or can help me fix the sound issue?

Sound problem

Hi,
I've always followed Helmi and installed the new one. Since the last one, some avi files wich played well before seems to have now sound problems.
The sound is there but completely distorded. I am thinking of a codec problem.
Is there someone who can give to me a solution ?

getting Mortplayer to output to bluetooth

I have the ATT tilt version of the kaiser
the rom is dutty's dual touch v1
that rom or possibly the iphone theme had given me an issue with the camera and some other glitchy issues like speakephone speaker not working so i installed a differrent radio which pretty much fixed those but i cant get mortplayer to play the music out of my headphones and if i use windows mp or htc audio manager it playes great through the heaphones (insignia ns-bthdp) but i want to use mortplayer because it has the equalizer built in solving the whole no equalizer for kaiser issue...
also the audio only outputted through the speakerphone (in mortplayer) for a couple of songs after re-pairing the headset and such it would no longer play throught the speakerphoner anymore ieither
so im still really new to al this stuff and am pretty much winging in in most places. i just wanted to know if anyone can make sense of these things but primarily i just want to use mortplayer + BT headphones
so far i have tried :
all forms of resetting headphones/re-pairing
every menu and settings i could find within mortplayer
lol i was used to modding my ipod with linux but this stuff.. is a new ballgame
and im not a programmer of any sorts
ps. so sorry if this has been answered a million times but i swear i looked for a good while but im at the point where my brain is fryed
have you tried btaudio?

Bluetooth stereo headphones - noise while playing music

Hi,
I have Nokia BH-503 and I use it with my Diamond. Main problem is that when I play music the quality is quite good, but I can hear noises in most of my songs :/ I tried to change ROM: I used Dutty v.3.4, Karamba v.3.4 and Dutty v.3.6 - without any difference.
On my SE W890i there is no such problem - headphones work perfectly, so they are efficient in 100%.
Does anybody know what might be the problem? Please help because it's starting to get a little bit annoying :/
I'll answer myself then
Very helpful in that kind of situations is Advanced Configuration Tool [I used v.3.3], because it makes possible to change some settings related to Bluetooth.
I set some options as shown bellow:
OBEX: disabled
use join sterro: no
bitpool: very high
max supported bitpool: 75
min supported bitpool: 60
Now my music sounds way better

speakers not working

hi people
im having a problem with my kiaser
the speakers ain working first i thought ive busted it up somehow like you know normal damage etc
but today the speakers came on for like a few seconds etc
so i thought it might have been software wise is there a way i can found out if it is hardware or software?
thanks
Just a few questions:
a) Are you talking about phone sound? (i.e. when you are in a call), or all sound (like when you are playing music)
b) Is it just sound from the main speaker, or do earphones/BT headsets work?
c) Do ringtones work?
Sound is mostly the domain of the radio, so have you flashed a new radio lately? Maybe it is incompatible with your ROM?
the service manual suggests to clean the speaker contacts...
speaker not working

no im refering to sounds as in like...umm sliding sounds if im in a call and i want to put it to loudspeaker music on loudspeaker so overall that ain working
b) Is it just sound from the main speaker, or do earphones/BT headsets work?
its just the main speaker
c) Do ringtones work?
no no ringtones work

im running on L26_KaiserTouch_Manilla [[[ 3D ]]] V4 Testversion!
and im running on one of the radios that are recommened im in the UK if that helps?
As dr. asked what part of the sounds doesnt work? None at all? If so, this is what I would have done;
1st I would try another radio (just to check if we can solve it easy)
2nd I would hard reset (probobly wount help but saves time if so).
3rd I defently would reflash to stock ROM whit stock radio.
This wil give us good answers if not pointers whats triggering this. Since the speaker came on today I suspect its not a hard problem but soft, and thats a good thing mate

Froyo Streaming Audio Quality

My last thread got locked , but I guess it was in the wrong place anyways.
So, just wondering if anybody knows anything about the streaming audio issue on Froyo, maybe a possible fix somewhere I overlooked, or some upcoming fix maybe?
If you use Pandora or Slacker on regular basis, you will know what I am talking about. As compared to Eclair, on froyo both sound pretty bad, even with HQ Audio enabled on Pandora. What I've noticed is that over WIFI, Slacker has been recently fixed, it sounds very good, but on 3G the issue persists.
