Looks wicked.

u can use visual shellstyles, but as soon as u start to use non mac styles the whole thing loses its appeal.
its not shareware, its free and its in its version 2 state which i believe is final.however like all software other versions appear
.
until i speak to the author i wont publish the link as his website will not be able to handle the bandwidth. so i will look for somewhere to upload it asap.

:? Can you provide us the name of the application so we can look elswhere?
(P2P, filemirror.com and such places?)

post it here
I recognize the weather app and the calendar. they are widgets from Konfabulator, I use it myself and is really cool.

ok here u go ,download version 2.
http://osx.portraitofakite.com/
i also use AVEDESK to create the large icons .
have some fun ,if u need the wallpaper search DEVIANT ART or some other wallpaper site ,look for OSX,TIGER etc..

Thanks for the link amworld.... I will give it a try ASAP!
Cheers!

What is the BEST Freeware available for the WIZARD?

Hello Everyone! It seems like I stumble upon an awesome program for the MDA at least every week or so that is freeware. I wanted to create this thread so we could share the software with each other. Here are a couple I found in the last few days:
Minimo Browser - The pocket version of Firefox! Still in beta but very cool nonetheless. You can get it here: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/minimo/
FloatMe - A simple little program written by senior member _tb_tb. This program allows you to take any program that is running on your MDA and make it open in a MOVABLE WINDOW! You can get it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=282913
Do you have any favorites? Please share them in this thread! Please provide links so others can download them
Thanks,
Randy

FtxPBrowser - A quirky, yet stable, browser that uses PIE as its engine. It allows multiple windows and uses tabs. You can get it here: http://park15.wakwak.com/~ftx/ftxp3e/
Just download the latest version, copy it to your device, and click on it to run. No install program!

It's way faster than Pocket Internet Explorer and it's free as well...

The "must-haves" for the Wiz:
* SmartSKey -- http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=41060 (add functionality to softkeys with press/hold)
* OmapClock -- http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=40284 (overclocking; note SmartSKey can be set to automatically start OmapClock on start up; OmapClockPlus also does this)
* PQzII -- http://www.nicque.com/PQz/ (remap a key to act as CTRL or ALT; set keyboard shortcuts; basically makes the keyboard useful! There is a Wiz-specific version)
* Someone mentioned Vijay555's Device Lock: Lots of other good stuff there. Check out http://www.vijay555.com/?Releases
I use VJOKButt to fully close an app not just minimize
Also VJEschaton to do a soft reset from a command.
He provides lots of examples but you can set up your own shortcut to act just the way you want! Map to a key (I use DoubleLauncher which isn't free but others are)
This one is also a fave:
* http://mapforpda.com/ is a great app that let's you do dynamic maps, directions, etc. ... with a GPS option. Really nice and love that price!
Weather Watcher Mobile
I love this one. I am addicted to up-to-date weather stuff. http://www.singerscreations.com/RSS/Posts/339.asp
I enjoy this weather program, it's compact and allows for up to 3 cities to be viewed on the today screen.

if you are a news junkie, then I also enjoy pRSSreader. It requires a little effort to put the URL's to the RSS feeds, but it gives the freedom to choose whatever feed you want.

I like to use magic button to close apps.

One of my favorites is the "fixed" O2 plus. Here is a link to show you what it has

The complete thread is here:

The install files are here.

Copy them to your device via active sync, Install the cab file starting with 1 first (install to main memory), reset then immediately install the cab file starting with 2 (install to main memory) reset then tweak and enjoy.
Credit goes to all in original thread...I just read and found and enjoyed...just passing it on.

I think this is only a trial version
I like pocketbreeze...it's a today plug-in that manages messaging, notes, calender, to-do list, special events
link to torrent...
Link removed for spreading disease

what are soom cool things to download on my x1

i already have touch flo3d and windows mobile voice command
THPS2...
my top five.
i have a bunch of apps.
i mostly use the following:
G-alarm
evernote
i-nigma (bar code reader)
qik (live video broadcasting from your phone)
the you tube panel.
and now i guess im using the point home 2 ui instead of touch flo3d.
you can find all (or most) if you just use the foruM search
I m using Resco contact manager which is my personal favourite especially because I like the today screen ..and have been playing around with morphgear a little which isnt bad .. here is the link to the contact manager if u want to try it
http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/contactmanager/default.asp
must haves..
wmvwifi router.. i use old free beta.
www.mymobiler.com to remote control from pc
total commander (for registry and ftp access)
http://www.scummvm.org/downloads.php for som old point and click games.
depend on your interests really
like I installed a program which would let me detect in which direction to point my sat disc
to get various channels
but people without sat discs would find limited usesage for such and app
much like I would find little usage for a plane spotting app which told me which times I should hit out to the airport to see some rare type of plane
for pure brain storm these types of threads work wonders giving you an impression of whats out there
but if you got some special interest then
searching on google for
<what ever> pocketpc
like
paint pocketpc
often works wonders pocketpc in one word works better with google then
windows mobile because it's 2 words and having windows in any search give way
too many pc windows hits

This app doesn't seem to be supported on the X1. Did you use an install from a different phone? I think it looks pretty cool, and I'd love to use it, but no amount of google searching is providing me with the answer here.
I have got navigation software on my X1 and I often use it for navigation during the trip to a new place. It saves me money on buying a new navigator and saves me another carrier. Isn't is cool?

Free Torrent App in market

Theres a app in the market called Torrent-fu. Does what all the other torrent programs do, but a little more like it can stop and start torrents. Where the others cant and the best part is that its free.
Transdroid does the same. using the miniui you can do start/stop from your browser also. I still prefer BarTor though
So... what does it do?

Allows you to monitor your torrents from your G1. (assuming you use utorrent... I think its just for utorrent... I could be wrong on that one.)
i still dun get it.....
can u be more specific plz ><""
like kazaa, limewire, napster but better
torrents= files you can download
Utorrent (other programs exist, just don't know the names)= controls the downloading of torrents
xD unless he lives in a cave in Himalaya I think he knows what is torrent
On any torrent client nowaday you can activate the webserver option
with this you can control add stop your torrents from your G1.
Example:
You have your torrent client running at home.
You are at you friend's house when he looks for some good series.
You don't have and usb stick or HDD on you.
Instead of writting down the name of the serie.
just add it to you bittorent client via your G1.

windowsmobile7series standard edition

. only works for standard devices and maybe touch devices all the things that were wrong with it is now fix. it will be here now to u and i posted a video about it go check it out http://www.youtube.com/user/julian35961?feature=mhw4
you would need all these apps to just make it but lucky they dont use that much memory and make sure to save to main memory and use must have the lastest mortscript like 4.2 to run them and you would need chome configuration but alreadyive to you.The first thing you would want to download fist to your phone is the titanuim panel first then mortscript.mortscript can be save to memorycard and titantuim panel but just not the plugins. i would had put it all in one file but did feel like doing it plus people may not like some of the stuff in it tat it have if i put it in a file and the rest you just have to install the plugins you will find them chomeconfiguration and you know what to do next to find the files you have to go to my threads you should find it would say making windowsmobile7 somthing and to check out the video
xbox live
manage to make a simple xboxlive app that use can acess from the theme or front page would be showing a video on that later.link to other thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=639861&page=2
looks cool man, nice

[Q] Can someone test this AppCache website out in IE?

I have a website that uses AppCache and I would like to know if the IE engine in Windows Phone 8/8.1 supports AppCache/Local Storage/IndexedDB.
It's more of a scripting IDE than a web page and if it works correctly it will store about 5 megs of web files into an AppCache so it could work offline. You would probably need to delete/clean internet files if you want to get rid of that.
The web page is at :
http://www.obeliskos.com/TridentSandbox
At the top left (if it works correctly) you will see status for LS (local storage), IDB (indexedDB), and AC (AppCache) ... the appcache should show downloading and then idle.
Can someone test and let me know what the status information of LS/IDB/AC are.... or if you use it, how well it works? There's a samples browser button (second from right under help) if it lets you load all the samples.
Thanks
LS/IDB/AC all work great! WP8, IE10. Haven't had a chance to really play with it yet, but you will probably want to make it more mobile-friendly. We don't have meta-keys on the phone.
hah, your all over this forum and once again with good info, thanks!
Yea I was thinking of using it just as a viewer to run prg files created on tablet/desktop and saved to skydrive. I think xbox one IE also fully supports and that has skydrive and possibly keyboard/mouse as well. I guess it might be good cross-platform for simple user programs.
Looks like I have a reason to upgrade my phone sometime soon now
