Italian qtek 9100 to wwe rom

I have just upgraded an italian qtek 9100 to latest qtek 9100rom. Everything is ok except keyboard layout. I didn't know italian qwerty was different from wwe. Any suggestion to change the keyboard layout to italian qwerty?

Please tell us ROM versions.. and post here link to newest QTEK 9100 ROM.. if newer then 1.6.7.1 :roll:

no newer, just 1.6.7.1
Now I've *,. and other symbols not matchig keyboard layout. I press . and i get ' and so on. Anyone can help me?

Any idea? a suggestion, a start point...

Updrading German Rom to another

I'd like to change my glorious Magician for his new brother Wizard! In order to save my money i'd like to buy one in ebay and i realized that auctions from Grmany are cheaper (399€!!).
German keyboards are QWERZ kind instead of QWERTY, so i'm afraid that, using ad italian rom, for example, letter Z will be associated at Y and so on with other different buttons. :shock:
Anybody tried??

Don't worry.
I'd just bought a Xda O2 German Rom with QWERTZ Keyboard.
Everything's working OK with Spanish ROM.
Easy to update. Ask me if you doubt. Regards.

Cool! none of buttons gives problem??
in this case i think i'll buy it..

if you need to change the keyboard then just use AEKmap.
you can then design you own keyboard.
I upgraded my Wizard from German to WWE ROM and the remapped the keys using AEKmap and it works fins e

Keyboard problem

I updated my Italian Qtek 9100 to WM6 English version and now all the keyboard buttons are different, it's possible to configure the english WM6 that will recognize the italian keyboard?

Help Portugese XT9 for Blacstone

hello can any one help me, i have RUU_BlackStone_Duttys_WWE_V3.3_XT rom instalde on my touch hd but now i need a working portuguese xt9 and keypad, i have the portuguese rom is there any way to extract the portugese xt9 and the 16 key keypad from it and make a cab file so i can instal it on my touch hd?

Question to translate a rom

Hi all,
I'm french (with a very bad english) and I would like to know how can I translate a custom rom (like miri's rom) in my own language ?

It's preffered not to translate, you can run in to all kinds of problems but it is possible. If I where you I look up a french rom and one (same build als your french) WWE on the Rhodium Rom develoment board en extract both and putt them back to gether. There is only lots of reading for you to do before you can make this work but it is not that hard.

..I would like to have an WWE rom..BUT with DUTCH word-autocompletion for the soft keyboard. Is that possible? I have an WWE Energy custom rom and can choose French, German, Italian etc..but not Dutch. Can I add it myself?

Depends on what you use butt I got this working cab that worked with the default keyboard and autocompletion

Hi, thanks for the cab but it doesn't work. I use the default Touch Input for pocket PC from HTC. I have flashed NRGz28's ENERGY ROM win 6.5 / manilla 2.1.

No that doen't work than it is for the default windows keyboard. Have you tried search the board? Mostly it is just adding a file
