Try to reflash your device from scratch. Not just the radio update.
Download the official software for your device from your provider (T-Mobile, Vodafone, etc.) and do a complete flash. During that operation every data on the device should be reset to factory settings. So does the ROM.
After your device works again, you can do another single upgrade of the radio stack. You'll find the appropriate software on the FTP or on buzzdev.net.
I had the same problem after an interrupted update and this procedure solved the problem for me.

HELP ... cant get back to WM2003SE

:?:
I have tried to get my sx66 back to 1.40 with an extended Rom
When I try to Downgrade NOTHING shows in the Flash Program when you start the flash it runs for 3 secs and says complete but nothing changed still WM5. I have to get back to normal ASAP Can any one help?
PLEASE!! Im Desperate!!
Did you follow the instructions here? http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_Downgrade_WM5
I did this 3 days ago and worked like a charm.
Yep.... downgraded twice from WM5 to WM2003SE - no problems.
I downgraded once, it was very simple
Same problem. Followed the wiki and uprgrade says it will update to no version (empty). Tried with different nk.nbf... any idea ?
Really, anbody has ideas ?
I followed the wiki but the MaUpgrade_noID.exe seems not to work... It says
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So it does not try to upgrade... I tried several versions of nk.nbf, and even without the file, it does not change anything. It seems it does not communicate with my Qtek at all.

Blackberry Connect & WM6.1

Hi there
Thanks for an invaluable source of information on all things Kaiser.
Im after some information on Blackberry Connect having just flashed my ROM to WM6.1.
It seems that RIM in their wisdom check the combination of OS and Device when you try and provision your phone to the BES. They ultimately decide which combination of phone and OS can connect.
My question is who do I persue to get BB Connect to work with my Vodafone 1614? Is it HTC, Vodafone, Microsoft or RIM? Im on 4.x.x.x.97 by the way.
My other option of course is to downgrade to WM6.0 but I cant find the original Vodadone ROM (the HTC ones dont work).
Thanks
Jeremy
BBConnect and WM 6.1
You need to make a simple registry change. HLKM, System, Versions from .1.0.3 to .04.2

JM
PS: search for more details in this forum
Come on, first post ever and it's a new thread about something already covered.
I'm not trying to me mean but that is not a good way to start. Please read the What is XDA-Devs link in my signature.

Editing .nbh file directly?

Hi,
I have to flash my HD to German O2 Stock ROM as well as to SPL 1.14 for warranty issues. No problem so far, I've downloaded and flashed Akuma's Stock ROM which was successful. All the brandings are there as well as the correct ROM information (in device info), the only problem is that in the "smart mobility" screen on bootup the R-G-D information shows another ROM version (1.19.<somewhat>).
So that's my problem...the correct ROM is flashed but this screen reveals that there was another ROM on the device before (Dutty's).
What I did now is opening - just for example - the orig. GER HTC Stock ROM (first pic.) and the .nbh provided by Akuma (second pic.) and saw that there's several information in the beginning of the file. So - you can imagine - my question's now if I can just edit the .second .nbh to the ROM version I'd like to be displayed while booting? or if there's another way to edit this information (either afterwards or by re-flashing)

Thanks in advance!

Little update: I've changed the 1.00 value and reflashed without an effect. It seems like the ROM version depends on the RUU_signed.nbh which was used for signing the ROM!?

Chinese No-name stereo-gps bootloader broken

Hello, this is my first mail. I am also writing for help.
I have a chinese 2Din car stereo called Maisun MT-8001 (800x480), and I had problems while installing MioPocket 4.0. It has 2 zones: radio,bluetooth,ipod, video, dvd zone and the GPS/Windows CE 6.0 zone. The problem is with windows zone.
First, it doesn't boot, it got stuck in the first screen, so I decided to flash another time wince. It worked, but I wasn't able to find a WinCe 6 with the same resolution as mine. Some of them has an acceptable resolution but the touchscreen didn't worked, some of them the opposite... While trying WinCe firmwares, I added to one of them a file from another one because whitout it it doesn't install, but it was an error, because it got stuck while flashing eboot and now the GPS zone is dead.

}
When I click on GPS it just says: "No signal" and if I try to flash anything it doesn't care.
Do you know how to solve it? I think that if I could flash another time the eboot (I think it's the bootloader) it will be alive another time but I don't know how...
If you think that opening it and doing some soldiers will help.. I would do it...
PD: I have the firmware from the seller
Please, can you help me?

[Q] Finding the "region" of stock ROM

I was wondering if there is a way to find out if the stock ROM is WWE or not. Here's why I'm asking.
When I purchased the HTC Desire few years ago, it clearly came with an Arab-region based ROM. Right from the moment I turned it on, the region selection showed Middle Eastern countries. (Plus some apps which I definitely did not need)
I then searched out and flashed a WWE ROM.
My new HTC One was also purchased in the Middle East, but this time around - the ROM doesn't seem to be based out of the Arab-region. Hence I mused out loud if I could confirm if this phone has indeed come with the WWE ROM.
Thanks for taking the time to read. Any insight would be great.

Middle east = EMEA = WWE UL
You can check which product code/model ID by running these commands using adb and fastboot
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot getvar all
Thanks, @blu9987.
I will run adb and find out. It did not strike me earlier to check that 'variants' image - going by what you've mentioned, I suppose I already am on WWE. Cool!
Weird it was so different with the Desire, but that was three years ago.
