WM5: Inbox subfolder no sync - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 Software Upgrading

Hi,
I just upgraded my BA to WM5 and almost everything works quite well.
But:
I can't sync my e-mail subfolders anymore.
I'm using ActiveSync 4.0 Build 4343.
I have the option to chose subfolders, but there is only the Junk-Mail folder available.
Junk-Mail is not a subfolder of my inbox, but another folder within Outlook.
The folders I want to sync are subfolders of my Inbox.
It worked perfectly with WM2003SE.
Thank you for your help!

Need help with Pocket Outlook...

Guys I need some help regarding Pocket Outlook.
I have set up two POP email accounts and I also have the "Outlook email" folder/account that has ben created by the synch with the PC Outlook.
When I try to send an email from the 2 POP accounts everything goes fine... the message is placed at the Outbox folder and at the next send/receive it is being sent.
But when I try to forward an email that I have in the inbox of the "Outlook email" folder, it places it in the Outbox folder but it does not give me an option to send/receive.... so it is not being sent.
Actually this is probably logical, because with the "Outlook email" folder/account there is no specific "sender", as all these emails have been placed there via the synch with the PC (and the Microsoft Outlook for Windows).
What can we do about this?
How can I find a way to be able to to forward an email I have in the inbox of the "Outlook email" folder ?
thanx in advance

Mail Problems (Not Gmail)

I use Mail on my Tilt to connect to an IMAP4 account (that isn't Gmail!). It works fine for the most part. There is one quite serious problem that I would like to solve. On my PDA, I can see my main "Inbox" folder and its contents, however, when I switch to one of the child folders on the server (say my "Work" folder), the folder appears empty, even after I try doing another send/receive. This is quite serious, as I have a lot of important mail in my various folders that I would like to be able to access. Any solutions?

Help! Active Sync works fully just one way

New appointments and contacts from PPC will sync to Outlook but NOT vice versa.
Contact updates made in Outlook ARE NOT updated in PPC
Appointments changes work instantly both ways
Does anyone experienced the same behavior?
I really don't like the Active Sync in XP. Is the device management better in Vista?
Just to add... when I tried to sync in the first time I got about 60% of contacts.
Since then I was not able to get into PPC any. I deleted all contacts and appointments to find out what it really does.
(E.g. updating categories and notes...)
Update
Here is the "solution".
Export the existing contacts to csv file with first and last name only and omit everything else.
Make a copy of current contact folder.
Delete all contacts in the default contact folder
Import the trimmed version from csv file. These contacts will become somehow noteworthy for sync now. (Don't ask me why).
Now clear out all notes in back up contacts (sorry no other choice) and update other fields in this occasion as well with correctly structured data (country codes, address fields etc. this is the time to do that once for good)
Move the cleared contacts from backup folder to default once and update all contacts at once.
Delete all your contacts on your device and restart it.
Plug it in for synch
Now you should be able to see the contacts.
If you don't then what works for me is to move the outlook contact to other than default folder. Delete it from default folder and create new contact on the device.
Sync and update newly created contact in default Outlook folder either by hand or moving in from backup location.
Still notes from Outlook are not updated to device
At least all other info seems to sync both ways.
I still have to find out the caveat of syncing categories and pictures.
If you already found out let me know.
Good luck!

Strange email hosted exchange sync issue

I have noticed a really weird email bug in WM6.1 which probably exists in all previous versions.
Basically...
I have a hosted exchange email account with push mail and only ever sych email with this over a 3G wireless internet connection.
I have never been able to get all of the folders in my mailbox to synch with Kaiser. Only the inbox ever worked.
I noticed then that all my folders are actually in the root of the mailbox and not in the inbox folder. I then dragged some of them to the inbox folder to create sub folders. These also did not synch at all, even when selected under 'manage folders' in mobile outlook.
I then created a sub folder in the inbox folder which had a unique name. It worked! Any mail moved to this folder was synching to my Kaiser.
I then tried creating a sub folder in inbox with the same name as a folder in root and it wouldn't synch either.
So to clarify, if anyone else is having problems trying to synch folders in their exchange mail box...
1) Create a sub folder in inbox
2) Make sure it does not share a name with a root folder
And all is good!
This is annoying but seems to work!
If anyone knows another way round it I'm all ears!
1) = BAD
Root {
Folder1 (won't sync)
Inbox
}
2) = BAD
Root {
Folder1 (won't sync)
Inbox {
Folder1 (won't sync)
}
}
3) = Good
Root {
Folder1 (won't sync)
Inbox {
Folder2 (will sync! ..only if created from scratch and not dragged)
}
}
By the way, I used outlook web access on a PC to create the folders.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Try this..
Within your Exchange mail, click on the “Windows” hardware button.
Tap “Folders” (in lower left corner)
Select “All Messages” in the pop-up dialog box.
Hope that helps...
thanks I will try this tomorrow.
i looked that, but there is no "All Messages" Tab
I solved with moixer
