Hi,
I have recently purchased an i-mate PDA2, and it works fine, however if shaken lightly, you can hear a rattle as it something is moving inside. If i then squeeze the sides, the noise stops.
Its not the volume slider.
Could you please tell me if the rattle is normal, because this is the second unit i have had that does this, so i assumed they are all like it.
Many thanks in advance
take the stylus out and shake it
Mine rattles too I found it to be the Volume slider button on the left.
Yeah my volume slider rattles too.
yes its the the Volume slider i thought it was some thing inside!
thanks,

Has anyone had this problem where the ear speaker doesn't work. I can turn speakerphone on and also use a headset. I have tried a few different roms to see if that is the problem but it doesn't seem to fix anything. The 9100 i have is only about five months old. I am not sure how to save this little guy. I am getting ready to try 217 rom to see if it does anything.
it's broken!
welcome to the world of having a broken qtek 9100
see http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=850913 for more details.
hope your repair experience is more swift than mine
I took my 9100 apart and figure out that flat cable beetwen sliding parts
(keyboard and screen) is cut from one side. Does comebody has any
idea were to get this cable, or how to permanently turn on loud speaker?
Earpiece volume too low... is this a wm6 upgrade issue?
Had it for almost 3 days... upgraded to wm6 when i got it... but the earpiece volume seems too low... is this a side effect or a general problem... any way to increase it?
Come to think of it, I have the same exact problem. Though I dont use my 750 for music, I still wished there's a fix for it.
I have had a good hunt around but nothing sounds like this problem. Sorry in advance if its a stupid question or has been answered elsewhere.
I got given an AT&T Tilt by a friend. He told me the main speaker at the rear was bust and it needed a new one. I checked it out and got the service manual to see if there was a bad connection. Then I ordered a replacement speaker from Fleabay. I fitted the new speaker but it made no difference at all.
Basically I get clicking noises from the speaker at low volume and at high volume it sounds like the speaker is blown or highly distorted even though the volume is barely audible.
I just tried flashing a new Radio ROM but everything else is as I got it.
Currently it has on it...
ROM Ver: 3.57.502.2 WWE
ROM Date: 07/17/08
Radio Ver: 1.71.09.01
Protocol Ver: 25.75.40.02.eMo
Yes I am a Noob to this stuff. I have spent a couple of days looking for a solution to this. I almost hope I am making a rookie mistake and its a simple fault. If someone can point me in the right direction please.
Thanks,
Fangio.
