My Mini S hang on the start up srceen. Maybe the software problem, but I cannot unlock the CID, need orginial Ger Rom.!! please.

I've had my XDA IIs for a couple of weeks now and now I have found the time to upgrade all the software/roms/ etc... This is what i have under version in settings:
ROM version: 1.12.62 WWE
Rom Date: 10/04/04
Radio version: 1.02.00
Protocol Version: 1337.32
ExtRom Version: 1.12.925 WWE
Please guide me to the newest rom if there even is one. Also i noticed that you can only set specific photo for each caller but nothing about a specific ringtone for each caller. Has o2 release something to allow individual ringtones?
I have an unlocked o2 Xda IIs and am currently in the USA. Everything works fine now and i don't want to have any problems. Please help me. Thanks in advance

for specific ringtones based on callerid, you need to upgrade to photo contacts 1.20 -

I used to have the 02 rom on my XDA IIs but changed it to the latest IMate rom with is a lot more stable.
Imate have released a new rom for the PDA2K but this rom can also be used on the XDA IIs by making a few alterations to the country code. If you require, i can provide instructions?

It is the black one, but it came unlocked when I bought it. I bough it off of an ebay user.

first CID unlock your MDA..you can also unlock your SIM if you want

then download one of this ROMs and install it...it very easy to do

You can find the roms on the ftp server, it's easy to tell fromt he names which wan you should use.

My friend asked me to change UI language on his T-Mobile MDA Vario III from german to english. I think that I have to "upgrade" it to HTC WWE rom? The problem is that I cannot download rom upgrade from HTC.com, because this is T-Mobile device, and I don't have "HTC" S/N. But there is already some HTC rom in device:

I've used hardSPL and HTC WWE rom update:

Just follow the tutorial. You do not need to flash a new radio if you just wanna have another OS ROM.
The Diamond ROM forum has many ROMs, most of them are "Sticky" on top. Some are with WinMo 6.1, some with WinMo 6.5. See http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=430
