INESOFT ADDRESS BOOK V1.2 - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 Software Upgrading

can any one please please please please please provide a keygen/crack for this amazing software.
if not possible, please also advice to stop searching
thank you in advance
Software version: 1.2
Software Build: 2006.03.02
Device: i-mate PDA2K (Blue Angel)
O.S.: WM5
ROM version: 5.03.02 WWE
ROM date: 03/02/05
Radio version: 1.12.00
Protocol version: 1337.42
ExtROM version: TuMa v1.3

Sorry, but if it's that amazing why don't you buy it??? it's only $15!! I am all for trying software and sometimes I need a keygen or crack to try it but will buy it if the price is fair and software works.
I am not trying to get into an argument about it, I just don't think $15 is unfair if it is amazing and they gave you a free 15 day trial in the first place to try it.

you are absolutely right, its worth every cent, but it just eats my brain out to know that there is a crack and i cant get it, and it happens to me a lot, the moment i purchase a software, 1 or 2 days later... a crack
it just buggs
cheers

mebonkers: does that mean that for every piece of software, if a crack was available you would never pay the author for his software?
V

most of the time i do pay, specially games... but sometimes it gets really tight "financially" and a new soft. appears and am the type of people who get so excited to get my hands on this soft. and wouldnt get the patience to wait untill i can afford it

Well the point is that if you are looking for cracks, you are at the wrong place.

[REQ] Windows Mobile 5 on XDA IIi

Hi, Does anyone know if there is an update to XDA IIi to Windows Mobile 5.0.
I know there is one for the Himalaya version of XDA.
I have spoken to 02 and they say that it is highly unlikely and would be releasing the XDA II Exec with WM2005. Any info would be gratefully received.
Mod edit: Please be sure to mark requests with [REQ]
Double post deleted.
And there is currently no WM 5 for that device.
Can't the admins just delete these threads and/or ban the thread starters? I mean how many times has this thread been posted, 200, 300?
The thing is that that new people arrives every day.
New people don't know what we know, new people don't/can't consume all the content of this site that fast.
Banning new people won't do xda-dev any good.
Deleting the posts will only give us even more of these post :!:
So the best thing for those that feel irritated by it, just overlook them and move on
Thread moved from mod. upgrade, unlock to Alpine
WM2005
Apologies to the anybody who is not happy with my post.
Don't worry about them!!!If you don't know, you have the right to ask!!!However, before that you should read some thread about the topic you want to know!!!
Cheers mate
I have been watching posts for two months, and still have not been able to understand "yes", "no" or "maybe soon...."
People talk Blueangel, da da da...
I want clear talk about XDA IIi or Alpine. Don't be jumping on people to review old threads when it is hard enough knowing which model people are actually referring to...
I too am interested in reading if anyone has recently tried a 2005 mod on XDA IIi (Alpine), and what problems they may have encountered.
blueclue7, the WM2005 ROM is not for the Alpine, it is for the Himalaya.
The hardware is totally different between the two devices, it will not work.
There is no WM2005 build for the Alpine yet, maybe never, we don't know yet.
The Alpine has WM2003se, and so far, that is all there is.
WM2003 exists for the Alpine in 2 main versions so far, both have bugs. Most of these bugs would probably be solved by WM2005, but guess what, there isn't a WM2005 build yet.
Oh, by the way, WM2005 for the Himilaya won't work on the Alpine, just as it won't work on the Blue Angel, or the Magician, or any other PPC other than the Himalaya.
hi guys u have just bought an xda2i off ebay. I am regretting it before it has arrived due to the lushness of wm2005 and you guys saying it wont be coming to xda2i. How come its coming to the older xda2 arghhh. I may have to make them program an update at gunpoint.
if you want i can trade you my MDAII? heheh
WM2005 on XDA IIi
It will be interesting when they release the Universal with WM2005, as it is technically the XDAIIi is similar. So hopefully it will be just a matter of time before someone reverse engineers the Universal Rom for XDAIIi.
Unless of course the 02/I-Mate/Qtek etc do the sensible thing and release an offical upgrade.
I don't see how Microsoft and PDA makers can whine about priacy, when people have spent good money for a new release PDA, only to be told it has the old software and even though it is capable of accepting the WM2005 upgrade....easily, we won't do it cause we don't think our customers are that important, welcome to the money grabbing world of Microsoft and many others.
I hope Microsoft and PDA people read this and learn!!!!

Hello, there is some good news from our friend at blue angel forum, some one from that forum asked his frien if there's any update WM5 for Blue Angel, and his friend (who is HTC rep) said "YES!!!"
I read that post three times, ( i wondering if my english is really bad or there will be update for HTC Blue Angle ) Here's the link :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=147760#147760
and for me that is "good" new ( May be a bit, but better than nothing), there is a hope they also make up date for HTC Alpine because it's younger :? . Yah... just hope....
or some one will give the WM5 Himalaya cooker a new HTC Alpine????
I'm sure he'll make that (WM5) work on HTC Alpine...
should we start a petition?
why not ?
WM5
hey... good idea...
Great News Again
Hei XDA IIi lovers, i got some ( I think good news ), i post some email to O2 asia asking if they will release WM5 for IIi and their answer :
"There are no firm plans as yet to offer this particular upgrade to customers of existing Xda devices"
But.... don't stop there ......., after that they wrote :
"but we are studying market demand for this platform, and we will certainly consider offering it in the future if there are sufficient requests for it from our customers"
Do you all get it???
they just need to know if there's sufficient request...
I guest i've start my petition.... How about we all start to petition right now....
hehe i wont hold my breath but i might aswell put my name down for the petition.

Gimmie WM2005 NOW !!!
---------------------
Okay, lets finish this thread now, Here are the FACTS !!
WM2005 IS NOT RELEASED YET
The Himalaya build is a internal release by microsoft which was leaked to the world and then modified by our good friends buzz Lightyear and co. This build was specially written for microsoft employees on the wm2005 program as the majority of them have himalaya devices.
This new OS will be released officially on the next generation of XDA devices which will probably incorparate 3G technology as well.
So NO The current WM2005 builds that are doing the rounds WILL NEVER be available for other platforms as the hard ware is completely different from platform to platform.
All you can hope for is that
a) It is officially released for your device then modified like Wm2003SE for Himalaya.
b) Some one will swap you there XDA II device.
c) Get a copy of Wisbar Advance and skin it to look like Magento (This actually looks more polished than the actual WM2005 in my opinion.
I personally have a M1000, Orange version of the XDA II which i upgraded to WM2003SE after 3 days of it arriving, then upgraded to WM2005 1.60b which i am now running..... it's the best phone/thing i've ever had.....plus i got it cheap thanks to a price mistake on Orange's website

Windows Mobile 5 and Alpine -Should WM5 be on the Alpine?POL

Hi guys and gals.
Great forum and I will be coming back every hour, helps everyone trmeendously well.
Anyway I have an xda 2i which i bought last month and is going great. Got tomtom 5 on it and syncs it with my outlook. Nothing could go wrong...
and it hasn't but looking at the new WINDOWS MOBILE 5 it looks os much more modern and I was looking to upgrade.
I have looked at the other posts and people have been talking about there is no upgrade. I wonder as there is the himalaya and it runs bascially on the same system doesn't it?
but here is an ebay auction that sells it for xda2i so is it true or ont?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Windows-Mobil...864660131QQcategoryZ38331QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
p.s they have changed the ebay autions now so that they don't say xda2i but they sued to.
Are there not loads of problems with TomTom 5 and WM5?
Should WM5 be on the Alpine?

Of course everyone want the latest on their device but as Alpine device not too famous enough and still much more need to be discover. IF there's anyone selling upgrade for XDA IIi on ebay, he wont be anyone except from here also. As I know, the GOD of WM5 is buzz...... he can be damn rich if selling like that on ebay but he dont want.
If we dreaming to having WM5 on our device without any action, we wont stop dreaming. How about making donation so that we can buy an Alpine device for buzz...........
any suggestion???? any protest???
ok
thanks for your replys but being a noob here, the alpine and the himalaya are nearly the same except some of the specs.
Can't we use a himalaya WM5 upgradero n an Alpine?
Has anybody tried this?
I was going to but I wanted to check with you guys first.
no no no! it wont work! Himalaya WM5 wont work on Alpine.
u seem quite sure, did u try it and it broke ur alpine?

The devices may look the same but that's where the similarities end.
Hardware wise they are totally different and therefore completely incompatible. Until someone creates a rom editor and has the knowledge to mix the base OS with the drivers from 2003se, or even create new ones, cooked versions won't be available.
The suppliers won't release an update because, like Clustered said, not enough people use the Alpine to justify the huge financial outlay. It's all about profit.
Even if customers pay for an update, the cost would be greater than buying an OS for a PC because of the relatively few people who would upgrade. It would take about 10 minutes for pirated copies to end up on the internet as well, putting an even bigger dent in profits.
I think it should happen but unfortunately, it won't.

Does anyone offer WM5 upgrade service?

I have the Verizon version XV6600. Does anyone offer a service to upgrade this version of Blue Angel to WM5? I would prefer to send it to someone with experience rather than go through another learning curve. Too many curves in my life, at the moment.
MS
its easy dud,jst read through wiki, its realy interesting to learn and flash yourself
Starting with the fact that my ROM version is 2.07.00, which appears to be more recent than anything I see on this board, and that it seems to be very possible to turn my BA into a paperweight, and that I have learned the lesson many times over that serial number one of anything should be considered a throwaway, and I would be doing serial number one. So I would prefer to do business with someone who has flogged this problem personally more than once. This time, I just want to watch the show; not make the movie.
Me to, I am in the same boat, I dint want to produce a paper weight either!
Shanks
I had the same miss givings when I did mine, follow the instructions and it will be all cool
I too worried about it, just follow the instructions on the wiki
All went well for me and its the first time I tried it.
I think your devices are Harrier, and it is imposible to upgrade them to WM5, and even if you upgrade them and they boot, i am 100% sure thet you will not be able to use the phone functions

yep, PH20A2 is not a Blue Angel is a Harrier
Me too!
I did notice this thread after I post here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299490
Mine is SX66 geniune Blue Angel and although I read the the wiki many many times but I'm with the others= too nervous to use the surgical knife.
If someone wouldn't mind doing this for a reasonable fee please respond.
Many thanks

Newbie with New Qtek 9100/HTC Wizard 200

I have recently got 2 off these cheap.
They are both locked to Vodaphone and are G4 models.
I wish to upgrade them with the most up to date OS which is stable either 6.0 or 6.5.
Now looking at all the information my head is spinning.
How do I go about installing all this software without turning the phone into an ornament?!!!
Please explain in idiots terms please.
Thanks SC
Surely someone should know how to do this!??
Help......
SC
I know this has been covered loads but this is what is confusing me.
Some of the links are dead and their now is way too much information (if that's possible!) on this forum.
I made a mistake when I said mine was a G4, it is a G3 device.
Thanks
SC

Hello Internet Sharing

Hi everyone I recently update my HD7 and i found the good news in the settings, finally HTC added the internet sharing, enjoy everyone
Awesome!!!
This is awesome! Plugged in, update was there, WiFi sharing! Thanks for the heads up!
I sure hope Tmobile don't yank this!
That's fantastic !
Still nothing. Plugged my phone and Zune says its up to date :|
still nothing for me too. unbranded singapore version
Seems that not everybody is getting these notifications for the 7740.16 & HTC firmware updates. Has anybody have already received it in Spain?
My current setup
Unbranded HTC HD7 T9292
OS version: 7.10.7720.68
Firmware revision number: 2250.21.40502.401

Bootloader version: 4.05.2250.0(129185)

Last night my mozart got the update of internet sharing but still nothing for my HD7..
Same here, our Mozarts have all got the update, our HD7s have not. All of them have had the HTC Euro unbranded rom installed.
I've had my HD7 since launch day in Oct 2010 and been happy so far but I'm getting fed up waiting for the internet tethering option now (unlocked HD7 using o2 sim).
I know it might be off topic but does the lumia have the tethering option enabled?
btw, I had a conversation with HTC asking them where the upgrade is and got this reply
"Thank you for your email. I understand your disappointment and I'm sorry for not having any more information on the matter, if and when HTC will release this update for unlocked and unbranded devices it will be announced on the HTC Facebook page. I would advise to check there for any upcoming news relating to the specific update you wish your device to be updated to. I hope that this information meets with your requirements, should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me again. Why dont you just update via the official cab thats posted on xda.. Rather than waiting. Look for the official 7740 update cab.
it has nothing to do with 7740, most of us already recieved the latest OS update...
Hi,
same here. Unbranded european HD7 and got the 7740 a few days ago but still no firmware update. I got a ticket opened with the HTC support and they told me that it may take up to 4 months (!) to get all phones updated. I think as soon as they deliver the update to microsoft for distribution to the customers they have no longer influence on when a certain phone gets the update. That's why they told me this rediculous time.
I prepare myself for waiting a bit longer now as MS is still busy delivering the OS update and I believe that they will deal with the manufacturer updates once thats done.
Cheers ... gooselk
