Bluetooth New outgoing port GONE? Any Reg Edits? - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario Software Upgrading

My 8125 under bluetooth settings and Comm ports only has the option of "New Incoming Port". In the text above it says there should be New outgoing and New incoming.
I am using the Qtek 2.17 ROM with the Cingular customizations from summiter. I remember there being both ports before.
Is there a reg edit that will help me out?
Thanks guys.

I also had just a option for a new incoming port, but after pairing my carkit (Nokia CK1W) and bluetooth gps there was also the option for a new outgoing port.
So may be you have to install a bluetooth device before this option comes up...

all sound on bt-headset with helmi-c aku3.2/1.3 ROM

this thread is about getting all sound to your bluetooth headset, even when it's not a formal wireless stereo device. Specific on helmi's newest wm5 rom, version 1.3
info at the start of this thread:
WM5 has A2DP incorporated which is ment to get more sound on your bt-headset than just phonecalls.
Helmi stated that this will only work for stereo bt-headsets and when using apps that have stereo support, probably not helmi's choice but the way WM5/A2DP is designed.
vjaj555 stated that his vjvolubilis tool should work to get all sound on your bt-headset on wm5 if your rom uses the m$ bt-stack, but also vjaj555 has limited time/resources so don't blame him for not testing all ROM's that we have. Helmi's 1.3 ROM uses the m$ bt-stack, but vjvolubilis doesn't work properly. You do get noise in your ear with the AGON function, but apps will still send sound to the pda-speaker.
on tuma's 1.3 rom vjvolubilis worked for me.
I see two options i'd like to try out:
1. fake the system through registry tweeking and make my bt-headset look like if it was stereo.
2. find out the differences between helmi's and tuma's bt-stack
:?: Can anybody with a stereo bt-headset please send me the device registry settings :?:
tweeking registry
what I managed so far is linking the wireless stereo service to my jabra 250v bt-headset.
settings->connections->bluetooth->devices. tap&hold 'jabra 250v' ->edit. shows the 'hands free' service and 'wireless stereo' service.
the wireless stereo is there since the tweeking.
settings->connections->bluetooth->devices. tap&hold 'jabra 250v' shows ' set as wireless stereo' still gray so not selectable. this i'm still trying to figure out.
what did I do with PHM-regeditor:
find 'jabra 250v'
it's a name under HKLM/software/microsoft/bluetooth/device/xxxxxxxxx (xxxxx=hexnumber)
xxxxxxxxx/services/ had one service 0000111e-yyyyyyy and in there a name Handsfree
HKLM/software/microsoft/bluetooth/services/ has multiple services, also the 0000111e-yyyyyyy. in there a link to a dll
HKLM/software/microsoft/bluetooth/services/ also has the wireless stereo service 0000111B-yyyyyyy.
so I added this second service to the device key HKLM/software/microsoft/bluetooth/device/xxxxxxxxx where my jabra was.
I attached the regkey, but be aware that it's bt-device specific and it just a step, not the solution yet.
trying on my jabra 250
same for me, set as wireless stereo is greyed out

SIM Access Profile Cab not work

Helmis Sim Access Profile not work. No Chance...
No Connect with AUDI A4 Bluetooth Premium System .
Without SAP, it´s only possible to connect with Jetware Software and MS Bluetooth Stack (not Widcomm Stack!!), but NO SIM Messages and NO Keypad on Audi-Radio-Screen.

Activate voice dailing Kaiser with WM6.1

I have searched the net for a few days now and can't find anything about my
little problem.
I have as a carkit a VDO/DAYTON TR 7327B radio, when I pushed the phone button on this device it is connecting to my Kaiser and starts always dailing the last known number.
Every other bleutooth device is starting the voice dailing.
I have tried several changes in the registery, which I found on this forum but all with no success.
The Dayton has as sevices - Headphone and Stereo, the registery shows in the hardware status that a handsfree is connected and not a Headphone, could this be the problem?
It is not my intention to install another ROM.
Found the problem, the problem is the car radio.
VDO/DAYTON sels this car radio with on the box "handsfree" and yes they
are correct when you only want to answer calls and not when you want to make a call.
So I need a new carkit.

Bluetooth handsfree issue [SOLVED]

Hi @all!
I know there are many BT issues concerning TyTN II and WM6. But this one is new, I think:
After pairing my Kaiser (WM6.1) with my BMW E46 handsfree unit, the first call I make immediately after pairing works fine. But after terminating this first call, there is no sound at all. Neither my Kaiser nor the handsfree unit utters a sound, though my Kaiser displays the small handsfree-icon, that confirms the connection is established.
I tried so many things to solve this problem. I tried different radios and different ROMs. But nothing worked till now.
Does anybody have an idea?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I soved the problem on my own!
First, the BT extension software "JETWARE" didn't help. But then I changed the JETWARE settings - and voilà: this was the thing. In advanced options I selected "Phonebooks", "Query status indicators", "Update status indicators" ang "Hang up/ swap to incoming call". All other options in advanced options I unselected. Then in phonebook options I selected all categories to sync, opened the "menu" -> "set limits", selected "Exclude Fax numbers" and "Limit how many numbers to sync" and set all options to 0.
Then I hit "Done", "Done" and one more time "Done" and connected my Kaiser with my BMW Handsfree unit (E46 ULF). And what happened was unbelievable. It worked perfectly suddenly.
Maybe this workthrough can help anybody else.
My conclusion: JETWARE solves the silence problem, you just have to choose the right options in JETWARE settings!
Greets to all active board users!
Here are some specs:
HTC Kaiser
ROM: Official HTC WM6.1 Professional 3.03.405.0 WWE
Radio: 1.64.06.04
Protocol: 25.70.40.02W
Do a search for "Unexplained volume drop to zero".
It's an ongoing thread about this exact problem.
My problem is different, I think, because after turning bluetooth off in comm-manager, sound works fine again immediately.
Any ideas?
I have a similar issue when I pair my Tilt with the Parrot MK6100. It will work for a while and then I can try calling someone or receiving a call. It shows connected, but I do not hear anything. The far end cannot hear anything either. What works for me is to reset the Parrot by turning it off and then back on.
I would be interested in a fix for this.
Tried to solve the problem by turning off htc home. but no success. i'm getting mad ...
BMW bluetooth problem
I had a similar prblem with my BMW 740 e38, which uses teh same ULF box. I cured it by disconnecting teh battery. Note, if your radio uses a key code, check you have it before disconecting teh battery!
Good luck.

I have the same problem with my Audi, I think it is the Bluetooth in the car rather than the handset. I get this problem with several handsets. You might want to see is BMW has an update.
Diconnecting the car battery (for more than 30 minutes) didn't solve the problem.
Nobody out there who can help?!?!?!?!?!?

Try Jetware, it is a 30 day trial but I think it is the BT software in your BMW. Check some BMW forums and see if there is an update.
Bluetooth Issue
Hi guys,
it is definitely the TyTy II and not the Bluetooth in your car!
I have a Parrot MK 6000 in my Honda and had NO issues with my previous HTC TyTn in combination with the Parrot or any other bluetooth hands free.
After every phone call the phone looses bluetooth connection and re connects after a minute or so.
Really annoying! I'm thinking to get rid of the phone if there is no update very soon.
jetware doesn't solve the problem.
is ist possible that the protocol is the reason?
first, i supposed, the reason for that annoying problem could be the number of contacts in pocket outlook.
but in fact i really have no idea till now.
anybody out there who can HELP??????????
SOLVED

I will try your settings with my 2005 X5 tomorrow...but as I can see in the set of settings you have chosen, there is no contacts transfer, no last dialed, no sms can you please confirm?
rabbit,
i have the same exact problem (lose sync with phone immediately after a call, then re-initiates contact a minute or so later), but is getting yet another app the only solution?? is there any other solution that fixes the WM6.5?
