Hi, I currently have ROM 1.40 and radio 1.15 from the official Qtek website but I have the occasional "no sound" problem with the phone, solved by a soft reset.
I have seen some of you have ROM 1.42 which apparently solves this issue but I don't know where to download it from and would like a clean ROM, i.e. not branded O2 or anything...
Is that possible and will that fix my issue? Thanks

If anyone could provide any help that would be great. My phone did not ring at all today although people tried to call me - I only got a voicemail indication after doing a soft reset... It's really annoying.
Would using WM2005 help ? Has anyone else had the same issue ?

What have I done?
Last night installed upgrade 1.40.242 - radio 1.12.00 from O2 website (just to get WMP10) everything else has worked great. Now I cannot connect the bluetooth headset (BT) or my gpr for tomtom5.
Can someone help me. Thought I knew what I was doing. have hard reset, reinstalled ROM upgrade - no joy.
If no ideas on this, can anyone suggest a way to get back to my original settings. i have abackup of that but can't use it on new ROM upgrade either.

After upgrading an i-Mate PDA2K (PH20B 0 B WWE E CDL__001 1.40.00 0 0 1.12.00 12.00) to WM5 BA TuMa v1.3 Release (as well as various other WM5 ROM builds), the device has been restored back to original shipped WM2K3SE ROM (PDA2k_WWE_14000_176_11200.exe), due to numerous problems including ActiveSync connectivity via USB or Bluetooth failing.
However, now when reverted back to original shipped ROM, device reports that the Bluetooth license has expired and disables the Bluetooth. Re-enable Bluetooth device and the same thing happens, it reports an error and disables itself again.
Any solution to this problem?
Also, why doesn’t reverting back to shipped software (CE-ROM, EXT-ROM, Radio) solve this problem?
Can someone please explain what flashing ROM changes and what it does not change?

Had the same problem after pairing my BA with my new Headset.
Switched BT off and did a Soft-Reset ... after restart switched BT on again and the Message was gone. I am unable to explain why this happens but it worked for me. Good luck guys.

This problem seems to be related to the Widdcom stack (at least, it was with me). The 3900 stack does not work with WM5.

hey guys, i have a Orange SPV M2000 UK set and currently having this problem (license expired) for few days. So i tried flashing the firmware to O2 2s firmware, the bluetooth still expired.
the question now is,
1. if i upgrade to WM5, will this problem (bt expired) solve? Anyone tried this? I willing to do anything to fix my bt, except sending this phone back to the factory, since now im in malaysia.
2. when i update the firmware for wm2003se (orange UK firmware) they say country id error. why so? how can i flash the firmware if this error comes out?
really appreciate those can help me out here. im total out of idea to fix this stuff.

I fixed my bluetooth expired prog. download the broadcomm 1.6 version from ftp and now bluetooth work like normal. the downside after installing this version is that the messaging kindda lag (bug?) and today's theme kindda messed up (no big issue; just change to other theme)
another problem came out is, i can pair with bt handsfree, but not functioning properly.
recently the sms on my sx66 doesnt want to go thru ive tried every wm5 rom and still no sms ive also tried with original wm3 rom no luck.
another thing i tried to do was change my radio version but still no luck is anyone else having this problem? can someone help me with this problem?

I have had zero problems upgrading the radio, using 1.15 now on 3 sx66 models.
SMS/MMS is not happening in my opinion unless you go back to your service provider's ROM. I've tried changing settings and all the cabs on both WM2003se and WM5 but still no luck, does not attempt to go through.

I upgraded to this ROM and as soon as i hard-reset i get an error popup with "IOCTL_GET_LOCK_FLAG fail. The specified resource name cannot be found in the image file."
Also I cannot get the phone to work in any way. The network is not found and calls cannot be made/received.

The same thing has happened to my phone. No idea how to fix it, any advice would be appreciated.
i have a feeling this has something to do with resizing/unlocking extrom. can someone plz confirm on this?

And then Upgrading to radio ROM 1.15
No idea whether this will work for everyone, but it worked for me

Looks at the antenna icon. Is there a bang (!) or an x next to it?
If it's an x, the radio has been turned off, or the system thinks it is. Check the wireless manager screen.
If it's a bang, soft reset the phone. I occasionally see this and the reset usually clears it up.

i have the same problem with threadstarter.
i tried to softreset and hardreset even reflashing the radio still won't work.
my very concern is the contact list i need to backup it first before i reflash the rom. the problem is the contact list button dont work anymore. this is the most important i want to retrieve. need your advice.

with my looks the same, i can't turn on contact at all!
on network indicator is "!" and soft ord hard reset doesn't help!
