recently the sms on my sx66 doesnt want to go thru ive tried every wm5 rom and still no sms ive also tried with original wm3 rom no luck.
another thing i tried to do was change my radio version but still no luck is anyone else having this problem? can someone help me with this problem?

I have had zero problems upgrading the radio, using 1.15 now on 3 sx66 models.
SMS/MMS is not happening in my opinion unless you go back to your service provider's ROM. I've tried changing settings and all the cabs on both WM2003se and WM5 but still no luck, does not attempt to go through.

What have I done?
Last night installed upgrade 1.40.242 - radio 1.12.00 from O2 website (just to get WMP10) everything else has worked great. Now I cannot connect the bluetooth headset (BT) or my gpr for tomtom5.
Can someone help me. Thought I knew what I was doing. have hard reset, reinstalled ROM upgrade - no joy.
If no ideas on this, can anyone suggest a way to get back to my original settings. i have abackup of that but can't use it on new ROM upgrade either.

Has anyone else attempted to get Goodlink to work on another ROM aside from the stock TM ROM? I have tried both 2.16 and 2.17 and after reboot it just hangs at the password screen. If i reflash the stock ROM it installs and works fine. Any ideas?
Also. With 2.17 installed now, there is no "password" icon in the programs or settings group. I dont know if this is related.

Rom Upgrade and Goodlink Problems

I am a bit of a newbie but could not get goodlink to work once I upgraded my rom. I am on a Qtek 9100. The rom it came with worked. The test rom out there worked and then the 2.18 rom didn't. I had a lot of trouble downgrading but eventually ended up back at the test rom. If you need a copy drop me an email.

No luck here either. Decide to pull it off my Wizard (via hard reset), as I prefer the 2.17 ROM over stock. Figured its worth the trade-off since I'm using push mail at this point anyway.
Hi, I currently have ROM 1.40 and radio 1.15 from the official Qtek website but I have the occasional "no sound" problem with the phone, solved by a soft reset.
I have seen some of you have ROM 1.42 which apparently solves this issue but I don't know where to download it from and would like a clean ROM, i.e. not branded O2 or anything...
Is that possible and will that fix my issue? Thanks

If anyone could provide any help that would be great. My phone did not ring at all today although people tried to call me - I only got a voicemail indication after doing a soft reset... It's really annoying.
Would using WM2005 help ? Has anyone else had the same issue ?

I upgraded to this ROM and as soon as i hard-reset i get an error popup with "IOCTL_GET_LOCK_FLAG fail. The specified resource name cannot be found in the image file."
Also I cannot get the phone to work in any way. The network is not found and calls cannot be made/received.

did you use xdadev_all_unlock-v1[1].5.exe after using Helmi's ROM ?
The same thing has happened to my phone. No idea how to fix it, any advice would be appreciated.
i have a feeling this has something to do with resizing/unlocking extrom. can someone plz confirm on this?

Mine works after using:
Helmi's ROM (16MBPool)
xdadev_all_unlock-v1.6_138.exe
And then Upgrading to radio ROM 1.15
No idea whether this will work for everyone, but it worked for me
ive searched all over in how to fix this with-in my own ability, i saw there was a cab that installes the settings into the handset. trying the cabs (pay and go as thats wat my sim is) this has not sorted the problem.
getting down to the problem in hand....when i go into the messages and select menu, then mms options and select it the settings dont come up. i am using a cooked from (phenix energy rom 3.0)
if anyone can help me with how to solve my problem then that would be exerlent.

All I can suggest my friend, is to check the Pheonix Energy ROM thread to see if anyone else has that issue with that particular ROM. If you had MMS set up and working OK before you installed the cooked ROM, then there's your answer

i have tuck your advice and no one like to reply in that thread, i have recently moved to another rom but still the same problem, could it be anything to do with the radio or anything like that? or wud flashing it back to its stock rom help?
