Hi
I upgraded to this ROM and as soon as i hard-reset i get an error popup with "IOCTL_GET_LOCK_FLAG fail. The specified resource name cannot be found in the image file."
Also I cannot get the phone to work in any way. The network is not found and calls cannot be made/received.
Can anyone please help me

did you use xdadev_all_unlock-v1[1].5.exe after using Helmi's ROM ?
The same thing has happened to my phone. No idea how to fix it, any advice would be appreciated.
i have a feeling this has something to do with resizing/unlocking extrom. can someone plz confirm on this?

Mine works after using:
Helmi's ROM (16MBPool)
xdadev_all_unlock-v1.6_138.exe
And then Upgrading to radio ROM 1.15
No idea whether this will work for everyone, but it worked for me

I believe the instructions have been followed - I get the Error 100:Model ID Error. It is only after that that I realized I didn't have a PH20B. Is there is a way to make it install? Any suggestions if you believe I've overlooked anything? If not, what version of WM 5 will install on the SX66? Thanks
I cannot give you any garunttes that it will work, but try this modified 'setoperator.bat'
Also the camera is part of the rom so i dont kno what effect this wil have on a non-camera BA.
I was able to load WM5 on my Siemens SX66 with this change

Camera does show up but haven't checked to see what happens when try to activate - will advise all.
Hi, I currently have ROM 1.40 and radio 1.15 from the official Qtek website but I have the occasional "no sound" problem with the phone, solved by a soft reset.
I have seen some of you have ROM 1.42 which apparently solves this issue but I don't know where to download it from and would like a clean ROM, i.e. not branded O2 or anything...
Is that possible and will that fix my issue? Thanks

If anyone could provide any help that would be great. My phone did not ring at all today although people tried to call me - I only got a voicemail indication after doing a soft reset... It's really annoying.
Would using WM2005 help ? Has anyone else had the same issue ?

I have Orange SPV M2000 France. I received it without radio ROM. OK. I tryed update radio rom to new one from shipped packed (downloaded form this FTP). Device writes Radio ROM Update Error.
OK. I readed all posts about fixing this problem. Now I have not working Bluetooth (License Expired BDA 00:00:00:00:00:00) and no Radio ROM.
Also, sometime, it writes in Model ID filed not PH20B but random chars.
Bootloader version 2.07.
Have any idea how to repair this device?
May be flash it from SD card (but how create it and where I can found images for write to SD card?).

P.S. All other stuff works fine (I mean that this device works fine as PDA, but no Phone and, now, no Bluetooth).

Yes. I tryed. As I said I tryed all solutions from forum. No result. It freez on 0% when I use _NoID.

Yes. I did.
If I use Type II it reports Radio Update Error at 0%.
If I use Type I it freeze on 0% without reporting error.
If I use original (not NoID) then it reports CountryID error even [CHECKCEID_TYPE]=1 in .ini file.
Well I know for a fact that one user had a real painful radion install.
In the long run ir was a USB issue on his dektop.
I would try a different pc and follow wiki, dont mix your files TYPE I needs the type one update files and the fix.bat.
Type II the no_id
If you mix them it wont work.
Coutnry ID error is solved with Type II and No_id

My Friends.
I upgraded my BA to a WM6 rom. In first boot BA stucked in tri-colour screen. After some reading here I managed to boot it in WM6 after using NO/YES/YES in the format screen + mail key.
The problem: Now I have no radio rom. and, the uppagrade utility wan't put the radio rom in the device.
What can I do in this situation?

I have had the same thing happen to me, and I have tried the first few of BA_Radio_1.15_Upgrade , but can not find the ship rom files.
If you have any luck with anything please let me know.

when I start to do the upgrade it shows the radio version as none, will the down grade allow the radio to come back?
My wife and I both got the SX66 (cingular) at the same time. She does not want to modify or upgrade hers until mine is working. Is there any way to clone her roms and write them back to mine so that I can "start over"?

from the t-mobile website , it loses communication at 80% and attempts a recovery this then fails this happens every time , any suggestions before it goes in the bin?
Try any other WM5 ROM for charmer. Or use the NoID RUU. It will flash it. Search for it in the Charmer forum.

thaks have tried the noid version which is suppose to help on hanged upgrades that didnt work I, have noticed on an old thread others hanging at 95% have used a radio version which I have also tried that didnt work, I have noticed that others have re-installed v2.6 and its been fine my problem is foolishly I did not bother with the backup , has any one got 2.6 or any other suggestions ...Thanks
There is one possible way. But nobody can say how it works. You have to do a upgrade with a SD-card. This is the ultimate solution. But I can't tell you how it works on Charmer I yust know it for the Wallaby. But you can just look in the Prophet forum maybe somebody there knows how it works.
