after so many request...here it is...the ext-rom cooking tutorial
first download the ext-rom maker kit from here;
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Wizard/DumpROM/htc-wizard-ext-rom-maker-kit.zip
then download the attached tutorial.
A great deal of time and patience was needed to put this together, from me, so please drop by the forum to say thanks if nothing else.
I know some of you would like to be able to extract you own extended rom base from your roms, this is easyest way that I could come up with for everyone specially the novices, plus that is another tutorial.
please post your coments/problems here for the benefit of every one

I hardly ever carry a laptop pc since I've gotten the 8125.
I managed to download, unzip and displaý it, but pdf files don't wrap text, so it's too hard to read the file. I can wait until I get to a PC, but if you could post it in (pocket) Word, I would br sooo happy.

School over, completly free untill september wohoo! This means XDA time I have not moved from kaiser so I am going to use the following weeks to dig in and read up on the latest (totally outdated). There is going to be a clean up in the cab corner in near future. Future plans not yet decided, not sure if I am going to brew myself or group up whit someone. Could be that I am just going to work whit WinCE and handy cabs. Anyways, /me is back, missed XDA alot the last 9 monts ! <3

Ha...Ha ........ you do have some catching up to do. Blackstone is yesterdays news....... The new roms are Topaz....Rhodium....... and WM 6.5 based now, get to work with updated cabs for these roms in the Cab corner

Hehe, I`ll bet! Last I did before leaving for university was full port on Raph. Had all kinda trouble whit synch and other shait on that project, took me 3 weeks (mid section on IBI, I am about to vomit just thinking of it). Thats why I wondered if the blackstone ports was working 102% I am reading ALOT of treads whit people having sound/call issues?? Rom disease? And is MS having XDA by the balls? I see alot of red treads whit removed links and I heard sakajati has left the building due this bs. Been waiting for MS to come in here and shoot themself in the foot, is that day arived?

Okay, so I just had this crazy idea,
NRGZ mentioned on his twitter once that his ROM's are downloaded over 9000 times every new upload. So I thought by myself that if every single person donated 1 euro/dollar/whatever NRG would get like 9000 €/$!! Which is a lot!!
So here is my idea: if every person here would kindly give a donation of 1 to NRG that would be a great way to thank him for making such great ROM's and updating them so often. And for all of us the costs would be very small. So who is with me?!?! Let's show NRGZ some support!!
I start with this thread since I own an Xperia, but if I get enough responses I will start threads in other phones sections and we can maybe pick a date where we can all donate at once.
P.S I am not a family member/friend or anything of NRG, this is just my idea to show some kindness. I live in the Netherlands and I don't know NRG.
as soon as someone tells me how to flash my phone (exactly how because i dont want to miss it) because I dont understand all tutorials etc. I'll donate

First you need to Hard SPL your phone, and then you need to download and unzip a ROM dat you like (NRG! ) then you can flash that rom onto your phone. I would advide you to search for Biovolt's tutorial because he made a video about how to flash. I think you can find it in one of the stickies in the top of this section.

I can't, I don't have PayPal or any donation thingy myself. Well I have a credit card, but I musn't use it from my parents. My parents won't donate anything either because if they know I'm flashing my X1, they get mad as hell.

I find that a lot of people warn you about flashing and stuff but once you've done it it is really easy. Hard SPL is something that allows you to flash a custom ROM on your phone. You only have to do this once!

You know, I can see myself in you. I was also scared to brick my phone but I did it because I take risks. Life sucks without taking risks. I would just like to remember you that I'm 14 years old and don't get another phone easy.

Cooking blindly without a device to flash a test ROM on isn't excactly easy...

There are a lot more chefs, it seems as if NRG is the only good chef around here. There are very talented people who don't get rewarded at all.
I never said that he was the only good chef around here...
I just happen to really like his Rom's. And I wanted to show him appreciation for his hard work. He updates his ROM's very often for a lot of devices. Doing this doesn't say anything about how good the other chef's are.
But if you have a suggestion how we can reward all the Chef's i am interested in hearing it!

He's got a point, there are lots of developers who cook awesome ROM's. Let's say agent_47 or jerpelea. If only NRGZ28 get a donation campaign it's unfair to others. Do it for more people, or do it for nobody.

Hello.
It's sad to say but I have to surrender in himalaya crazy party.
Firstly - My himalaya died (while charging, my brother sit on it, charging port died, as well as display)
Secondly - My second hima was lost, maybe stolen, don't know. Someday I missed it (totally drunk).
Thirdly - There is ABSOLUTELY no money gain for that, nothing like HD2 forums, or just YAHUAHAHAH(etc) donations. I did it for free, now I know it was not good.
I don't have cash to revive my hima, also I don't want to.
All my kitchens and tools will stay here, maybe someday some idiot will use it and achieve some money on my work, as always people did and do.
I also will downgrade me from Moderator state there.
Sorry bros, it's a must.

I think it would be hard to do final version of AK6 without any testing etc, but I would try.
I have one experiment to test at now, I'm searching somebody to test so I would post it here too.
EzInput is 8 mb weight, some more, don't remember
I did 3 mb weight EzInput to work natively on our himalaya.
EzInput cab in attachment, so test it, please.
