Did a search couldn't find anything, Since the Cingular Official ROM has been out for a few weeks already. Did T-Mobile come out with their official rom yet?

I have a T-Mobile UK MDA III, so I went ahead and upgraded to the latest UK ROM, 1.42_112. There's also an NL one, 1.42_115. I've also upgraded Radio separately to 1.15, -- so is there any reason to try _115 still? How is it better than _112?

HTC's Cingular 8125 Released ROM
I heard someone on the Cingular Forums tried to go back to the original HTC Cingular ROM after using the Cingular_RUU_WIZARD_217_AKU2_WWE.exe and couldn't. Has anyone tried to go back to the HTC released Cingular ROM? Just wondering if I can go back to Cingular released ROMs if they actually decide to release an update. Is there a way to re-CID lock my phone? Is the Cingular_RUU_1.8.11.1.WWE.ship.exe ROM CID locked?

The reason you can't go back is because everytime you load a new ROM it locks the device to the software that was loaded. The Cingular_RUU_WIZARD_217_AKU2_WWE.exe is acutally a Qtek ROM that has been modified. To go back to the Cingular ROM you would have to unlock the device and then you will be able to load the original Cingular ROM.
Hey everyone!
I flashed my MDA compact with Duttys release but was just wondering if I ever wanted to go back to how the phone orignally came with the T-Mobile firmware and all the software how would I go about doing it?
Cheers.
You can get a copy of the T-Mobile 1.37 based ROM that was re-packaged by TheLoanRanger from this thread at Modaco in case you ever need to flash back to the original rom.

Hope this helps.
Just tried SEUS for latest generic UK R3AA updating but faild with a reply said my R2AA is already the latest one. Updated my Vodafone rom R1AA to R2AA a week ago and never did anything on SPL.
Any one can help or tell me the reason?
Thanks!!
If it says your Xperia is the latest ROM, than it is the latest ROM. Each ROM is exclusive to specific Xperia's and specific countries or languages.
That's because you already have the "latest" UK vodafone ROM, officially speaking, which is Vodafone UK R2A
You can't "upgrade" from "Vodafone" (operator customized) ROM to a "generic" ROM, that wouldn't be an "upgrade" but a "change"
Two options:
- Wait untill Vodafone R3A is officially released and available thru SEUS
- Download the generic UK R3A ROM here and flash it (hard-spl is not required since it is an official OEM ROM and hence can flash thru the stock SPL)
hope this makes it more clear for you
Thanks very much to all above helpness and suggestions!
I noticed that T-Mobile in the UK have issued an official ROM update for the Vario III (and the Vario IV).
Could this be an imminent sign that they will be releasing the Vario V (aka Touch Pro 2) shortly?
Has anyone tried the ROM update yet? I'm considering it but am put off by the reports of problems with GPS after updating to WM 6.1.
Vario III UK T-mobile ROMs

I'm using the newer MDA Vario III 6.1 ROM
I have updated to the 3.31 ROM and 1.70 Radio available from tmobile UK at the link above. This was a from stock to stock upgrade using tmobile's upgrade utility.
I have NO GPS issues working with TomTom and get fast fixes inside my house. The rest of the ROM seems a lot snappier and very stable compared to the 6.0 ROM. The 6.1 improvements are also quite nice to have as a carrier ROM.
